Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung für ein mehrkomponentiges Produkt mit einem ersten Behälter für eine erste Komponente und mindestens einem weiteren Behälter für mindestens eine weitere Komponente, wobei der Boden zusammen mit dem unteren Seitenwandbereich des mindestens einen weiteren Behälters als Deckel für den ersten Behälters ausgebildet is.
  • Für den Zweck dieser Beschreibung werden unter dem Begriff "mehrkomponentiges Produkts solche Produkte verstanden, deren stoffliche Bestandteile während Lagerung und Transport bis zum Verbrauch bzw. zur Anwendung gemeinsam, jedoch voneinander getrennt gehalten werden müssen. Meistens handelt es sich um Zweikomponentensysteme, wie beispielsweise Klebstoffe, Dichtstoffe, Vergussmassen, Lacke etc., bei denen ein vorgegebenes Mengenverhältnis von z.B. Polymer zu Härter eingehalten werden soll.
  • Bekannte Verpackungen für solche Produkte bestehen aus zwei einzelnen Gebinden für die beiden Komponenten, z.B. Dosen oder Eimern mit Deckeln, die mittels eines Verbindungselements miteinander verbunden werden. Eine andere Lösung besteht darin, innerhalb eines Gebindes eine Trennwand vorzusehen, durch welche zwei voneinander getrennte Kammern für die beiden Komponenten geschaffen werden.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine gegenüber den bekannten Systemen einfachere und kostengünstigere Verpackung zu schaffen.
  • Erfindungsgemäss wird dies durch eine im unteren Seitenwandbereich des mindestens einen weiteren Behälters ausgebildete, nach aussen gerichtete, flanschförmig umlaufende Sicke gelöst.
  • Erfindungsgemäss weist der zweite Behälter im unteren Bereich seiner Seitenwand eine umlaufende, nach aussen gerichtete flanschförmige Sicke auf, mit welcher der zweite Behälter, ggf. unter Einfügung einer elastischen Dichtung, auf dem oberen Rand des ersten Behälters aufsitzt.
  • Bei dieser Anordnung wird nur noch für den zweiten Behälter ein Deckel benötigt. In gleicher Weise kann im Fall von mehr als zwei Komponenten ein weiterer Behälter auf dem zweiten Behälter aufgesetzt sein.
  • Im Folgenden wird unter Bezugnahme auf die beiliegende Zeichnung ein bevorzugtes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung beschrieben. Es zeigen

  • Die in Fig. 1 im Schnitt gezeigte Verpackung für einen Zweikomponentenklebstoff besteht aus einem unteren Behälter 1 für eine erste Komponente A, das Polymer, und einem oberen Behälter 5 für eine zweite Komponente B, den Härter. Der untere Behälter 1 ist ein üblicher Behälter in Form eines Eimers mit einer zylindrischen Seitenwand 2, einem angebördelten flachen Boden 3 und einem die obere Öffnung umgebenden, nach aussen umgelegten Rand 4. Der Eimer hat ein Fassungsvermögen für das gesamte Produkt inklusive Härter.
  • Alternativ kann die Seitenwand 2 des unteren Behälters 1 auch konisch geformt sein.
  • Der obere Behälter 5 besitzt ebenfalls eine zylindrische Form, aber mit einem erheblich kleineren Fassungsvermögen, da er nur Härter aufnehmen muss. Er weist ebenfalls eine zylindrische Seitenwand 6, einen angebördelten Boden 7 und einen nach aussen umgelegten oberen Rand 8 auf. Im Abstand vom unteren Rand der Seitenwand 6 nach oben ist eine nach aussen gerichtete, flanschförmig umlaufende Sicke 9 ausgebildet. Unterhalb der Sicke 9 ist der Durchmesser der Seitenwand 6 so bemessen, dass sie exakt in den Innendurchmesser des unteren Behälters 1 passt. Infolge dieser Form und Abmessung kann der obere Behälter wie ein Deckel auf den unteren Behälter aufgesetzt werden, so dass die Sicke auf dem oberen Rand des unteren Behälters aufliegt und diesen dicht verschliesst. Zusätzlich kann unter der Sicke ein Dichtungselement angeordnet sein.
  • Für die sichere Verbindung der beiden Behälter wird ein an sich bekannter Spannringverschluss um den Rand und die Sicke gelegt.
  • Der obere Behälter 5 ist mit einem üblichen Deckel 10 verschlossen, der ebenfalls mit einem Spannring gesichert ist. Anstelle der Spannringe können auch andere Sicherungsringe zur Verwendung kommen.
  • Um den gebrauchsfertigen Kleber herzustellen, wird der Deckel vom oberen Behälter abgenommen und der Boden durchstossen. Dadurch gelangt der Härter B in das Polymer A. Nach Entleerung des Behälters 5 wird der Spannring geöffnet und der Behälter 5 vom unteren Behälter 1 abgenommen und entsorgt. Im unteren Behälter können die Komponenten durchmischt werden. Mit dem Deckel kann der untere Behälter bei Bedarf verschlossen werden.
  • Eine andere Möglichkeit besteht darin, den oberen Behälter 5 mit einem fest mit dem Rand verbundenen Deckel zu versehen. Bei dieser Lösung wird, um die Beimischung des Härters vorzunehmen, sowohl der Deckel als auch der Boden des oberen Behälters durchstossen. Das Wiederverschliessen des unteren Behälters ist dann nicht möglich.

Claims (2)

  1. Verpackung für ein mehrkomponentiges Produkt mit einem ersten Behälter (1) für eine erste Komponente und mindestens einem weiteren Behälter (5) für mindestens eine weitere Komponente, wobei der Boden (7) zusammen mit dem unteren Seitenwandbereich (6) des mindestens einen weiteren Behälters als Deckel für den ersten Behälter ausgebildet ist, gekennzeichnet durch eine im unteren Seitenwandbereich des mindestens einen weiteren Behälters ausgebildete, nach aussen gerichtete, flanschförmig umlaufende Sicke (9).
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 2, gekennzeichnet durch eine unterhalb der Sicke (9) angeordnete elastische Dichtung.
