Breitschleifmaschinen zum Bearbeiten von Oberflächen von insbesondere flächigen, ebenen Bauelementen aus Holz bzw. Sie enthalten in einem Maschinenständer (wie er z. B. in der WO 00/38882 A2 der Anmelderin offenbart ist) einen oder mehrere Schleifköpfe mit jeweils einem Schleifband, welches endlos um eine Schleifwalze und eine Spannwalze umläuft. Der mindestens eine Schleifkopf und dessen Antriebsmotor ist über einen Querträger am Maschinenständer befestigt. Hierzu weist eine Spannvorrichtung unterhalb der Spannwalze mindestens eine Luftfeder und eine, die Verschiebung führende Führungseinrichtung auf. Die Aufgabe ist mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Starr synchronisierte Doppelkolbenzylinder an den Enden/Lagerzapfen der Spannwalze sind hierbei über Kreuz verbunden um eine parallele Verstellung der Spannwalze in Bezug auf die Schleifwalze zu erreichen. Dies ermöglicht, schmalere Bänder als die Walzenbreite einseitig zu positionieren und trotz einseitigem Gegendruck auf die Spannzylinder gleichmässig zu spannen. Um bei ungenauen, konisch gefertigten Schleifbändern trotzdem eine gleichmässige Spannung zu erreichen, können in den Kreuzverbindungen kleine federbeaufschlagte Ausgleichskolben eingebaut werden. Dieser Mehrdruck wird an die Kammer 26 des Zylinders 24 weitergegeben und somit der Kolbenstange zum Ausfahren geholfen. Claims (3)
