Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Breitbandschleifmaschine zum Bearbeiten von Oberflächen von insbesondere flächigen, ebenen Bauelementen zu entwickeln, die ein einfaches und funktionssicheres Spannen eines Schleifbandes ermöglicht. Die Aufgabe ist mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Starr synchronisierte Doppelkolbenzylinder an den Enden/Lagerzapfen der Spannwalze sind hierbei über Kreuz verbunden um eine parallele Verstellung der Spannwalze in Bezug auf die Schleifwalze zu erreichen. Dies ermöglicht, schmalere Bänder als die Walzenbreite einseitig zu positionieren und trotz einseitigem Gegendruck auf die Spannzylinder gleichmässig zu spannen. Um bei ungenauen, konisch gefertigten Schleifbändern trotzdem eine gleichmässige Spannung zu erreichen, können in den Kreuzverbindungen kleine federbeaufschlagte Ausgleichskolben eingebaut werden. Claims (3)
