    characterized in that the curtain (11) comprises, at each end comprising a means of tensioning (12), an envelope (13) made of flexible fire resistant material, capable of completely enveloping this means of tensioning (12).
  2. Device (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the curtain (11) is comprised of a woven glass fiber sheet, whose weight is about 400 grams per square meter.
  3. Device (10) according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the curtain (11) consists sheets joined one to another, especially by stitching.

Device (10) according to any one of claims 6 to 8, characterized in that said envelope (13) is comprised of two panels (13a, 13b) stitched on the curtain (11) at one of their edges (21) disposed perpendicularly to the length of the curtain (11), one panel (13a) being located on one face of the curtain (11) and the other panel (13b) being located on the other face of the curtain (11), both panels (13a, 13b) being connected to one another at their upper and lower edges, that is to say at their edges parallel with the length of the curtain (11); these panels (13a, 13b) are such that the envelope (13) is displaceable relative to the curtain (11), between a rolled up position, in which the envelope (13) extends entirely around the curtain (11), recessed from the longitudinal end thereof, and an extended position, in which the envelope (13) extends beyond the end of the curtain (11) and enables said means of tensioning (12) to be covered.
  10. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that it comprises a longitudinal cable (31) connected to the lower edge of the curtain (11), whose two ends are connected to said fixed structure (2a), at the two ends of the curtain (11).
