Description

The invention relates to an escalator or moving walk, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Escalators and moving walks have tensioning chains on which step belts or pallet belts circulate. Although the clamping chains are extremely solid and dimensioned with sufficient reserves of sickle reserve, they are subject to wear that leads to elongation of the chains.

There are generally known chain tensioning devices, which are installed in the deflection of escalators and moving walks to keep the chain even with an undesirable elongation in the tensioned state and thus to prevent the chain from jumping off the sprockets and consequently that a collision of stages or ., occurs by step inlet parts.

It has been known for quite some time to use safety switches, which should shut down the escalator, when exceeding a predetermined lengthening.

Such an escalator is out of the DE-GM 298 09 268 known. In this solution, an escalator safety circuit is provided in which the monitoring of the chain tensioning device is to be achieved by a potentiometer or an optical sensor, which responds to corresponding optical markings and triggers a calibratable switching cam switch.

EP 0547 737 A2 discloses an escalator hydraulic tensioner arranged on a diverter rail assembly together with the tracks for the track rollers and the tracks for the tow rollers, and slidable relative to the frame and the shoring but operatively connected to the latter.

US 3,419,127 has a clamping carriage for escalators to the subject, which is acted upon by means connected to the support frame tension springs with a chain tensioning force.

Out DE 103 22 955 B4 an escalator is known, which has a tensioning station for the step chain, which is movably mounted with respect to a frame of the escalator The relative movement between a bearing carriage and the frame is detected continuously by means of a displacement sensor. The displacement sensor then outputs an analog output signal as a function of the currently present position at an evaluation unit, which serves to convert the detected voltage value into the chain elongation in question, that is to say the displacement of the bearing carriage. The tensioning station has a compression spring, by which the step chain is kept under tension.

However, the previously known escalators and moving walks all have the disadvantage that the tensioning station is received and aligned on the support frame. It also requires additional laterally arranged components for supporting and guiding the tensioning station in the previously known solutions. This leads to an increased cost of materials and a time-consuming and costly installation.

The manufacturers of escalators and moving walks are constantly striving to reduce costs not only for the installation of such, but also for the production of escalators and moving walks. Furthermore, the competition requires a short delivery time of escalators and moving walks and thus - the fastest possible production.

The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide an escalator or a moving walk according to the preamble of claim 1, which or can be produced with the least possible manufacturing effort and cost, with a simplified installation.

Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch Anspruch 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen. This object is achieved by claim 1. Advantageous developments emerge from the subclaims.

An essential point of the invention is to integrate the tensioning station in guide system components and thus reduce the effort by reducing the use of material and alignment work.

According to the invention it is particularly favorable that in the deflection of the escalator or the moving walk, the chain roller rails are resiliently guided in the deflection area to maintain the chain tension. The towing roller rails are fixed and therefore not movable to rail components, such as side panels, which are connected to the frame of the escalator or the moving walk attached. The chain roller rails and thus the running surface of the chain rollers are designed to be movable between a frame-fixed side part and the drag roller rails for tensioning the chain.

Due to the resilient design of the chain roller rails it is achieved that, in the event of a step chain elongation or pallet chain elongation, retensioning of the chains can be achieved in a simple and space-saving manner. The tensioning station, with which the chain roller rails are connected, is integrated into lateral components, via which the rails of the escalator or of the moving walkway are connected to the frame of the escalator or moving walk, which leads to a substantial reduction of material usage.

Due to the fact that according to the invention only the chain roller rails are designed to be movable and the track roller rails firmly connected to the frame of the escalator or the moving walk rail components, such as side panels, the tow rails have no interruption, which could affect the smoothness and safety.

Preferably, the chain roller rails with components of a tensioning station, which is slidingly mounted relative to the frame of the escalator or the moving walk, connected. The weight and clamping forces as well as the horizontal and vertical guide forces for aligning the tensioning station are taken over by the lateral components of the rails in which the tensioning station is integrated.

Preferably, the clamping station via a bearing, in particular a plain bearing, mounted on the frame-fixed side part. The plain bearing is attached to a provided for the tensioning station in the frame-fixed side part recess, which ensures the compact design of the tensioning station.

Palettenkettenlängung in Verbindung stehen. It is particularly favorable that the clamping station is designed such that it has a frame which is mounted on the slide bearing, and with which the tension spring and a safety switch, in particular a switching cam switch, for monitoring step chain elongation or pallet chain elongation in connection ,

Preferably, the safety switch for monitoring the step chain elongation or the Paiettenketteniängung is mounted on the frame of the tensioning station, so that it is moved with a retightening of the chains. This eliminates the subsequent adjustment of the switch position.

Advantageously, the tensioning station on a side part on which the chain roller rail is mounted, wherein the side part is fixedly connected to the frame of the tensioning station. Thus, when adjusting the clamping force of the tension spring, both the side part of the tensioning station and the chain roller rail connected to it are also displaced in order to retighten the chains when an elongation occurs.

Preferably, the chain roller rail is provided with laterally mounted pins, which are provided for positioning the chain roller rail on the side part of the tensioning station. The side part of the clamping station has corresponding recesses in which engage the pins in the attachment of the chain roller rail on the side part. Thus, the assembly of the movable chain roller rail and the connection of the chain roller rail is realized with the tensioning station in a simple manner.

According to another, likewise favorable embodiment, the components of the tensioning station are permanently connected to each other and preferably joined by laser welding. The shaping of the individual parts is preferably carried out by laser cutting.

Same reference numerals in the FIGS. 1 and 2 to the same or corresponding parts, so that a more detailed explanation is unnecessary.

Fig. 1 shows an external perspective view of a deflection region 10 of an escalator or moving walk. The deflection region 10 has a side part 12, which is fastened to a frame, not shown here, and to which chain roller rails 14 and drag roller rails 16 are fastened for escalator steps or moving walkway pallets, not shown here. The side part 12 is formed as a side plate.
The side part 12 has a recess 12 ', in which a tensioning station 18 is mounted. The side part 12 is extended so far that it can accommodate the tensioning station. Thus, a recording and alignment of the tensioning station on the support frame of the escalator or the moving walk is unnecessary.
The clamping station 18 has a tension spring 20 which abuts with one end on the frame-fixed side part 12, wherein the other end of the tension spring 20 extends freely from the recess 12 'of the side part 12 in the longitudinal direction, so that the clamping force can be adjusted.
The storage of the tensioning station 18 takes place on a sliding bearing 26, which is attached to the frame-fixed side part 12 in the region of the recess 12 '.

The frame 22 of the tensioning station 18 is inextricably connected at its rail-side part with a side part 30. The individual parts of the clamping station 18 are joined by high-precision joining methods, in particular by laser welding, wherein the shaping of the individual parts is preferably carried out by laser cutting.
The side part 30 of the tensioning station 18 is, as well as from Fig. 2 can be seen, connected to the chain roller rail 14 and formed such that it follows the course of the chain roller rail in the deflection. When a chain elongation occurs, the clamping force of the tension spring is adapted to the elongation. For retightening the chain, according to the invention, only the running surface of the chain rollers is designed to be movable. For positioning the chain roller rail 14 on the side part 30 of the clamping station 18, not shown here, pins are provided on the chain roller rail 14, which engage in the joining with the side part 30 in there introduced recesses.

On the other hand, how are FIG. 2 it can be seen, the towing roller rails 16, for guiding and holding down the tow wheels, firmly connected to the frame-fixed side part 12 and have no interruption, which could affect the smoothness and safety.

For monitoring the step chain elongation or the pallet chain elongation, a switching cam switch 28 is provided. The cam switch 28 is as shown Fig. 1 can be seen, movably mounted on the frame 22 of the clamping station 18, so that when retightening the chains and the switch is moved with. This eliminates subsequent adjustment of the switch position.

At a detected chain elongation, but which is within a permissible range, the staircase is switched off, so that the maintenance personnel by retightening the tension spring 20, this elongation can compensate. If a longer chain length occurs, there is a risk that the step chain will jump off the sprockets. Then a stop signal is output, which shuts off the escalator or moving walk.
