Definitions
- the invention relates to a box awning with a fabric shaft on which an awning fabric is wound, a tensioning device for clamping the awning fabric, a cloth shaft receiving housing-shaped box and a holder with which the box awning is attachable to a support structure.
- An awning of conventional construction has a cloth shaft, which is rotatably mounted and attached via a bracket to a building wall or a building ceiling.
- a cloth shaft On the fabric shaft an awning cloth is wound, which is connected at its front end with a drop rod, which can be extended by means of a clamping device, for example in the form of spring-loaded articulated arms or retractable telecop arms, wherein the awning fabric is unwound from the fabric shaft and clamped.
- a box awning is additionally characterized by the fact that the fabric shaft is accommodated in a box-like box, the cloth shaft and at least the wound portion of the awning fabric against external influences, for example Dirt particles and moisture, to protect.
- the box is open at its front, the end of the rod facing the end, the emergency bar in the retracted state of the awning can also serve as a cover for the box.
- the box of a box awning is usually made of a continuous casting profile, which has a maximum length of about 6m in the initial state. Since the box awning must be adjusted in their dimensions exactly to the place of installation, the continuous casting profile is cut to the millimeter to the millimeter to the customer desired awning length, leaving remainders that can not be reused and disposed of. This procedure is very expensive.
- the loads occurring in the extended state of the awning fabric must be absorbed and discharged at the rear, the cloth shaft facing the end of the articulated arms or telescopic arms.
- the said loads and in particular bending moments are transmitted from the articulated arm or telescopic arm on the inner profile piece and the box to a holder in the form of a claw profile enclosing the box, which is attached to the wall or ceiling. All components mentioned must be designed to the maximum load to be included. This leads in particular to the box to a profile with a relatively large wall thickness, making the box not only expensive, but also relatively heavy and unwieldy.
- the invention has for its object to provide a box awning of the type mentioned, in which the loads occurring are safely absorbed and the box can be produced in an economical manner.
- a box awning with the features of claim 1. It is provided that the box is composed of at least three box segments, which are arranged in series and connected to each other at their ends facing each other by means of a retaining clip.
- the articulated arm or telescopic arm is attached with its the box facing inner end of the headband, which is part of the holder and also serves to attach the box to the support structure.
- the basic idea is not to construct the box from a continuous extruded profile but to use a plurality of box segments, which are also preferably formed from a continuous casting profile.
- the box segments are arranged in a linear row and secured to each other by a respective mounting bracket is mounted at the facing ends of adjacent box segments.
- the brackets which connect adjacent box segments together, are also part of the bracket of the box awning and thus serve to attach the box to the building wall or ceiling, without the need for mounting an additional box mount.
- the tensioning device i. the articulated arm or telescopic arm with its inner end, which faces the box in the extended state of the awning cloth, attached to the headband.
- the force acting on the awning fabric and the articulated arm or telescopic arm forces and moments on the headband, which is preferably formed by a steel profile part, introduced directly into the building wall or ceiling, without the box is used for load transfer with. In this way it is possible to form the box from a profile of low wall thickness.
- the box segments each have a bow part at their mutually facing ends and that adjacent bow pieces are connected to one another to form the retaining bow.
- the headband of two adjacent bracket parts is constructed, which are bolted together, locked, glued or firmly connected in any other way.
- Each strap part is first connected to the associated box segment at the end and in particular screwed. Subsequently, the strap parts are placed together and connected together to form the retaining clip.
- the box consists of two identical, preferably mirror-symmetrical, end-side box segments and at least one middle box segment is constructed.
- a prefabricated box segment module can be used, which has a continuous casting profile of predetermined length, at the ends of each a bow member is attached.
- several corresponding prefabricated box segment modules are placed in series and connected together at their headband.
- the final length of the box awning is achieved by the two end box sections, which are cut to the millimeter precision, provided at one end with a bracket part and connected to it at the respective end bracket part of the middle box segments.
- a bracket For attaching a box awning to a building wall or ceiling a bracket is provided which has an attachable to the building wall or ceiling console, for example in the form of a provided with a holding profile console plate.
- the holder of the box awning has a hook part, which engages behind the retaining profile of the console plate.
- a corresponding hook part is formed on the headband.
- the headband has two hook portions spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the box, so that each headband arranged offset the holding profile of the console plate to two side by side Areas behind.
- a particularly simple embodiment of the two hook parts on the headband can be achieved according to the invention, when each bracket part is provided with a corresponding hook part. Since in each case two bracket parts are connected to form the retaining clip with each other, the headband has in this way after joining the two strap parts, the two hook parts.
- box awning 10 has a box-like box 11 which is mounted on its rear side over two longitudinally of the box 11 spaced apart brackets 13 on a building wall or ceiling, not shown.
- Box 11 is rotatably received a cloth shaft, not shown, on which an awning cloth, also not shown, is wound, which carries in a known manner at its front end an outage rod, not shown.
- each box segment consists of a section of a continuous casting profile, wherein the box segments 20, 21 and 24 are arranged in a straight line and connected to each other.
- the middle box segment 21 is connected at its axial ends in each case with a bracket member 14 which is formed by a flat steel profile and in the illustrated embodiment, as well as the continuous casting profile of the box segments has a U-shaped cross-section.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- die Kastenmarkise gemäß
Figur 1 in auseinander- gebautem Zustand, - Fig. 3
- Fig. 4
- Fig. 5
Pfeil P2 in
Pfeile P3 in
