Definitions

  • the invention relates to a weapon for firing a propellant provided with a non-lethal agent according to the preamble of claim 1, as in US 2006/0283068 A described.
  • Such weapons are well known. These may be rifles or pistols suitable for closing a rubber projectile ammunition and provided with a pyrotechnic propellant charge. Large-caliber rubber bullets are also fired with grenade pistols or special equipment.
  • Propellant-loaded non-lethal agents are easy to handle and fire like conventional ammunition. They are provided with a uniform propellant charge, so they have when firing with conventional weapons in about always the same muzzle velocity. Consequently, in order to avoid serious injury to a target person, it is necessary to maintain a minimum distance to the target person. Especially in confusing situations such as street battles or the like. It may happen that the minimum distance can not be met. In addition, it would also be desirable to fire a rubber bullet at a higher distance than heretofore with high efficiency in order to reduce the threat of security forces.
  • the object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • a weapon which can be produced as simply and inexpensively as possible can be specified, with which a firing of non-lethal active agent onto a target in a larger distance range is permitted.
  • At least one breakthrough and a closure means for selectively closing the opening are provided for selectively setting a muzzle velocity of the active agent on the barrel.
  • the closure means provided according to the invention the opening can be completely closed.
  • the muzzle velocity of the agent is maximum, as in a conventional weapon, and is determined by the momentum generated by the propellant charge.
  • a partial or complete opening of the opening by means of the closure means a part of the propellant gases formed during the burning of the propellant is discharged through the opening. In this case, it is therefore no longer possible to transfer the maximum pulse which can be generated by the entire propellant charge to the active agent.
  • the muzzle velocity can thus be varied in a simple and cost-effective manner.
  • the non-lethal agent can also be fired at targets that are located in a smaller minimum distance than in conventional weapons.
  • non-lethal agents with a propellant, which have a higher effective range.
  • the minimum distance for firing the non-lethal active agent can thus be reduced, and also a maximum effective range can be increased.
  • the breakthrough in the region of a loading position of the active agent is provided.
  • the breakthrough may expediently be a slot-like breakthrough and the closure means may be a slide with which the slot-like opening can optionally be closed or opened. It is also conceivable to provide an opening in the region of a rear closure plate of the barrel, which is penetrated by the firing pin. It is also conceivable to use the breakthrough provided anyway for the penetration of the firing pin for the optional removal of a portion of the propellant gases.
  • a tube for discharging the escaping through the breakthrough propellant gases downstream of the opening or the chamber is provided.
  • a tube mouth portion of the tube is approximately parallel to the axis of the barrel in a weft direction.
  • a forearm displaceable parallel to the barrel is provided according to a particularly advantageous embodiment.
  • the weapon can be designed in the manner of a forearm Repetierers. It may also include a tube magazine. In this case, both the reload mechanism and the mechanism for selectively closing the breakthrough can be operated with the displaceable forend.
  • the mechanism for selectively closing the breakthrough is expediently in stages, preferably in 2 to 4 stages, closed. This facilitates handling when using the weapon.
  • the mechanism for selectively closing the aperture on a rotatable about the axis of the barrel rotary valve tube with a backdrop into which engages a displaced from the fore-end cam for adjusting a closure position of the rotary valve tube can be implemented in a rotational movement of the rotary valve tube parallel to the axis of the barrel directed displacement movement of the forearm.
  • a breakthrough configured, for example, in the form of a radial slot can be moved by means of the rotary valve tube or a closure means or slide connected thereto or slide, preferably in stages, for closing the opening.
  • a target device is provided with a display means for displaying the currently selected closure state of the breakthrough.
  • the display means is selected so that the shooter can quickly and easily decide whether a removal of the target is suitable for the selected shutter state. If this is not the case, the shooter can set a different closure state by adjusting the closure means and determine again by comparing the display means of the size of the target, whether a suitable for the removal of the target closure state is set.
  • the display means consists of a ring.
  • the diameter of the ring is selected so that the corresponds to a 1.50 to 2 m high target, preferably a 1.70 to 1.80 high target, at a predetermined distance. The diameter of the ring will thus be smaller, the farther the target is removed. This allows the shooter to quickly and easily tell if the target is inside the ring.
  • the aiming device may comprise a further mechanism, with which at least one ring of a plurality of rings in a sighting region is movable as a display means, wherein the diameter of the rings increases with increasing opening of the aperture.
  • a ring corresponding to the respective closure state of the aperture can be moved into a sighting region, for example a region between the sight and the grain.
  • the shooter can clearly and unambiguously assess whether the chosen target is still within the diameter of the field of view cleared by the ring.
  • the aiming device comprises a telescopic sight, in which as a display means at least one ring appears whose Diameter increases with increasing opening of the aperture.
  • a plurality of concentric rings may also be provided in the scope to estimate the distance of the target. In this case, it is expedient if the one ring which corresponds to the respectively selected closing position is illuminated, for example.
  • the ring may be replaced by a rectangle, by parallel horizontal and / or vertical lines or the like.
  • FIG. 1 a partial perspective view of a first embodiment of the weapon according to the invention is shown.
  • a run 1 has a loading position P in which z. B. is provided with a pyrotechnic propellant rubber bullet cartridge 2 is added.
  • a conventional loading and unloading device for loading and unloading the barrel 1 is provided with a conventional loading and unloading device, which is not shown here for the sake of simplicity.
  • the barrel In the region of the loading position P, the barrel has a first opening 3 formed here in the form of a radially extending slot. It may also be provided on the opposite side of the barrel 1 (not shown here) a similar breakthrough. Furthermore, a plurality of radially successive roundish or elliptical openings can also be provided. In addition, it is also possible for the openings to extend in the axial direction in the region of the loading position P.
  • Reference numeral 4 denotes a shutter means which is rotatably received thereon about an axis of the barrel 1.
  • the first guide means 5 are provided on the barrel 1, which may consist of a plurality of pins or of one or more webs.
  • the function of the first guide means 5 is to substantially prevent an axial displacement movement of the closure means 4.
  • From the closure means 4 extends a first opening 3 partially closing closing means 6, which may be, for example, a sheet.
  • the first opening 3 is surrounded by a chamber 7, which is tightly connected to the barrel 1 and discharges an outflow from the escaping into the chamber 7 through the first opening 3 propellant gases only through a leading away from the chamber 7 pipe 8.
  • a pipe mouth portion 9 has approximately parallel to the axis of the barrel 1 in a weft direction.
  • a destination device On run 1, a destination device, generally designated by the reference numeral 10, is further provided.
  • the aiming device 10 here comprises 4 rings 11a to 11d.
  • a first ring 11 a is firmly connected to the barrel 1.
  • the first ring 11a has the largest diameter.
  • the second to fourth rings (11b to 11d), however, are rotatable about the axis of the barrel 1 and can optionally be pivoted depending on the rotational position of the closure means 4 by means of a shaft 12 or the like. In a position adjacent to the first ring 11a.
  • the second ring 11b, the third ring 11c and the fourth ring 11d each have a decreasing inner diameter. If all the pivotable rings (11b to 11d) are inserted in front of the first ring 11a in the field of view of the shooter, this can target a target only by the smallest inner diameter of the fourth ring 11d.
  • a rubber bullet cartridge 2 is inserted into the loading area P of the barrel 1 with a conventional charging device. Then a target is targeted and the shooter continues to twist the closure means 4 until the target is completely within an inside diameter of one of the rings 11a-11d. At the same time so that the first opening 3 is fully opened with the closure means 4, completely closed or partially closed and by the appropriately selected closure position a set suitable muzzle velocity for the rubber bullet.
  • the resulting propellant gases are ejected into the chamber 7, there relaxed and cooled and discharged in the further course through the tube 8.
  • first breakthrough 3 muzzle velocity of the rubber bullet can be reduced so much that even a defense relatively close goals is possible.
  • first breakthrough 3 muzzle velocity of the rubber bullet can be reduced so much that even a defense relatively close goals is possible.
  • the propellant unfolds its maximum effect.
  • the rubber bullet is ejected at maximum muzzle velocity.
  • the fourth ring 11 d with the smallest inner diameter is folded in the visor area of the shooter. If the intended target is to be completely identified, it is at a distance suitable for this muzzle velocity.
  • Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment in a partial perspective view. It is on the barrel 1 axially rotatable about its axis as a closure means 4, a rotary valve tube and one of which extending closing means 6 and slide provided.
  • the closure means 4 is similar to FIG Fig. 1 secured by the run 1 extending first guide means 5 against axial displacement.
  • the closure means 4 has at least one second aperture 14, which releases a second axially extending under the barrel 1 mounted guide means 15.
  • the second guide means 15 has stop means 16 in the axial direction.
  • the closure means 4 is provided here with a slotted guide 17.
  • the closure means 4 or the rotary valve tube is surrounded by a forearm 18 which is guided on the barrel 1 by means of a third guide means 19 corresponding to the second guide pin 14 for a limited axial displacement movement.
  • a cam is referred to, which extends from an inner side of the forearm 18 in the slide guide 17.
  • the closing means 6 is rotated by the interaction of the cam 20 with the slide guide 17 in an axial displacement movement of the forearm 18.
  • Reference numeral 21 denotes a scope. In the rifle scope 21 can with a suitable conventional device, for example, illuminated rings are displayed in a target field of the shooter (not separately here).
  • Fig. 3 shows a first example of a target field of the telescope 21.
  • Darin is in Fig. 3
  • a second faded ring 22a shown.
  • a target 23 is larger than a diameter of the second inserted ring 22b.
  • a further faded in ring 22a is shown in the target field of the riflescope 21.
  • the target 23 is completely within the first faded in ring 22a. In this case, a muzzle velocity is set correctly.
  • the proposed weapon is especially universal. Thus, non-lethal agents provided with one and the same propellant charge can be fired within a wide range of distances.
