Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Überziehen einer Schlauchfolie über einen Gutstapel. Die Erfindung betrifft fernerhin ein Verfahren zum Überziehen einer Schlauchfolie über einen Gutstapel. - Gutstapel meint insbesondere eine Mehrzahl von Packungen, Paketen, Säcken oder dergleichen Einheiten, die zweckmäßigerweise zu einem quaderförmigen Gutstapel gestapelt sind. Es liegt im Rahmen der Erfindung, dass der Gutstapel auf einer Palette aufgenommen ist. Dieser Gutstapel wird mit einer Schlauchfolie bzw. mit einer Folienhaube überzogen, um dem Gutstapel einerseits eine höhere Stabilität zu verleihen und um den Gutstapel andererseits vor Witterungseinflüssen zu schützen. Bei dem Gutstapel kann es sich grundsätzlich auch um wenige gestapelte Einheiten handeln oder aber auch um eine einzelne größere Einheit, beispielsweise aus dem Weißwarenbereich (Waschmaschinen, Kühlschränke, Spülmaschinen und dergleichen). Der Gutstapel hat vorzugsweise eine Quaderform. Nach einer sehr bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens wird das Folienband als Schlauchfolienabschnitt zugeführt, geöffnet, daraufhin quergestretcht und anschließend über den Gutstapel gezogen. Empfohlenermaßen wird der Schlauchfolienabschnitt zunächst gerafft und beim Überziehen über den Gutstapel wieder abgerafft. Zweckmäßigerweise wird der Schlauchfolienabschnitt nach dem Raffen von dem Schlauchfolienvorrat abgetrennt. Zweckmäßigerweise wird zur Bereitstellung des Folienbahnabschnittes eine Folienbahn von einem Folienbahnvorrat, insbesondere von einer Folienbahnrolle zugeführt. Nach empfohlener Ausführungsform der Erfindung werden zwei Folienbahnen jeweils von einem Folienbahnvorrat, insbesondere von einer Folienbahnrolle zugeführt. Es liegt im Rahmen der Erfindung, dass zur Erzeugung einer Folienbanderole von jeder Folienbahn ein Folienbahnabschnitt zur Verfügung gestellt wird und das die beiden Folienbahnabschnitte zur Folienbanderole miteinander verbunden werden, insbesondere miteinander verschweißt werden. Vorzugsweise werden dazu zunächst die beiden Folienbahnen mit ihren Enden verbunden, so dass ein Folienbahnvorhang entsteht. Zweckmäßigerweise fährt in diesen Folienbahnvorhang der auf einen Förderer transportierte Gutstapel ein und nimmt den Folienbahnvorhang mit, so dass der Gutstapel dreiseitig mit der Folienbahn umschlagen wird. Anschließend werden zweckmäßigerweise die Folienbahnen bzw. die Folienbahnabschnitte um die vierte Seite des Gutstapels herumgeführt, bis sie zusammen treffen, insbesondere bis sie etwa in der Mitte des Gutstapels zusammentreffen. Empfohlenermaßen werden dort die beiden Folienbahnen bzw. die beiden Folienbahnabschnitte miteinander verbunden, insbesondere miteinander verschweißt sowie jeweils von der restlichen Folienbahn abgetrennt. Nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird mit Folienbahnen bzw. Folienbahnabschnitten gearbeitet, die als Schrumpffolienbahnen bzw. als Schrumpffollenbahnabschnitte ausgebildet sind. Die Kombination von Schlauchfolie einerseits und Folienband andererseits bedingt eine überraschend vorteilhafte zusätzliche Sicherung der Ladung. Fernerhin liegt der Erfindung die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass die erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen auf relativ einfache Weise realisierbar sind. Das gilt insbesondere wenn das Folienband als Schlauchfolienabschnitt mit derselben Vorrichtung bzw. mit denselben relevanten Vorrichtungskomponenten aufgebracht werden kann, mit denen auch die Schlauchfolie auf den Gutstapel aufgebracht wird. Aufwendige und teure Umbau- bzw. Umrüstungsmaßnahmen sind hierfür nicht erforderlich.
