Definitions
- the present invention relates to a packaging machine and a method for packaging products in bags, in particular for a chamber belt machine.
- a suction device In the field of chamber belt machines, a suction device is usually provided for the evacuation of a vacuum chamber in the lid of the machine. Since the vacuum pump is generally located under the packaging machine or a central vacuum system is provided near the packaging machine, the suction device must be connected via long pipes and hoses with the suction device in the lid of the machine. This affects the timing of the vacuum generation in the chamber and has a high susceptibility to errors of the system, increased cost and a little attractive optical impression result.
- US patent publication US 2003/0046907 A1 discloses a vacuum packaging machine in which an opening is provided in the bottom, which is connected by pipes to a vacuum pump, so that a chamber can be evacuated.
- the disadvantage here is that can get into the opening components of the material to be packaged and thus a cleaning and hygienic operation of the machine is difficult.
- the international patent application WO 03/038322 A1 discloses a valve for introducing cryogenic media into a container, the valve being located in the bottom of the container under a mixing and cutting tool.
- a valve needle in the closed state is substantially flush with the inner surface of the container to avoid unwanted deposits of material in the region of the valve.
- the outlet from the container is located on a lid of the container.
- the object of the present invention is to provide an improved apparatus and method for evacuating the vacuum chamber of a packaging machine.
- the device By providing a suction device in the chamber bottom of the chamber belt machine long pipes and hoses are avoided to the vacuum pump.
- the device simultaneously forms a suction device and a sealing device of the vacuum chamber. So it is only a drive unit for both functions necessary, which space and cost can be saved.
- Fig. 1 to Fig. 2b a first embodiment of the invention described by way of example on a chamber belt machine.
- the chamber belt machine is designed as an automatic chamber belt machine.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of a chamber belt machine with a conveyor belt 1, a frame 2, a laying area 3, a chamber 4 and a lid 5.
- the chamber 4 is through the lid 5 together with a chamber bottom 6 (see Fig. 2a ), wherein the lid 5, for example, automatically opens automatically opened or manually open, for example, to be evacuated or sealed bag, which are automatically fed by the conveyor belt 1, and then closes to form the chamber 4 ,
- Fig. 2a shows a schematic sectional view of a portion of the chamber belt machine in the region of the suction device 100.
- the suction device 100 is provided substantially directly under the chamber bottom 6.
- the closing element 8 closes the opening in the chamber bottom 6 and is designed so that it can work as a valve.
- the closing element 8 has a central, in Fig. 2a Bottom mounted hole 9 with a thread 101 into which a piston rod 10 is screwed.
- the piston rod 10 is also provided for this purpose at its upper end with a corresponding screw thread.
- the closing element 8 is moved by a first housing part 11 in a direction perpendicular to the chamber bottom 6, in this embodiment, vertical direction.
- the piston rod 10 is guided in the vertical direction through a second housing part 12, wherein the second housing part 12 is inserted in the lower region of the first housing part 11.
- the piston rod 10 is vertically displaceable. At its lower end, the piston rod 10 is fixedly connected to a piston 131, which in turn is guided vertically displaceably in a third housing part 13.
- the third housing part 13 has a cylindrical shape to receive the piston 131 and respectively.
- a spring element 14 is provided, which is on the one hand connected to the bottom of the third housing part 13 and on the other hand connected to the underside of the piston 131.
- a compressed air supply 16 is provided above the piston 131, through which the piston 131 is moved during operation.
- a seal 82 for example in the form of an O-ring.
- a suction tube 7 in the form of a 90 ° -Krümmers.
- Fig. 2b shows the suction device 100 in the operating position.
- the third housing part 13, the piston rod 10 and the piston 131 are formed in this embodiment as a single-acting pneumatic cylinder.
- the piston 131 is moved downward.
- the return of the cylinder or the piston rod 10 is effected by the restoring force of the tensioned in the lowered position of the closing element 8 spring element 14.
- the piston 131 could also be moved by suction of the air in the lower region of the third housing part 13. In this case, the same vacuum pump could be used, the chamber 4 (see Fig. 1 ) evacuated.
- the spring element 14 is stretched in this position or is compressed by the piston 131. In this position, the vacuum pump via the suction pipe 7 and the gap formed by the lowered closing element 8, the chamber 4 (see Fig. 1 ) evacuate. The restoring force of the spring element 14 then moves the piston 131 and thus the piston rod 10 and the closing element 8 back into their raised position Starting position in which the closing element 8 via the first housing part 11 gas-tight with the chamber bottom 6 closes.
- Fig. 3a shows in a second embodiment of the present invention, the same construction as in Fig. 2a with the exception that the Verschmirroredelementober Structure 83 'of the closing element 8' is not planed here, but convex and protrudes in its raised position, at least partially beyond the chamber bottom 6. In this way, it is to be prevented during operation that liquids or contaminants of solid form collect on the closing element 8 ', which are sucked off during lowering of the closing element 8' into the suction device 100 and contaminate it.
- Fig. 3b shows accordingly the same structure as in Fig. 2b , also with the exception that the closing element 8 'is crowned. This has on the function of the suction device 100 when evacuating the chamber 4 (see Fig. 1 ) no impact.
- Fig. 4 shows the same structure of the suction device 100 as in Fig. 2a ,
- a grid 15 is provided.
- the grid 15 is mounted above a suction opening which opens as soon as the closing element 8, 8 '(see FIG Fig. 2a -3b ) is lowered.
- the grid 15 is to prevent that during the evacuation of the chamber 4 (see Fig. 1 ) Bag or product residues can get into the suction tube 7 or in the movement mechanism of the suction device 100.
- the grid 15 can be designed arbitrarily. For example, it is conceivable to mount a cylindrical ring on the chamber bottom 6 and to fix a circular grid 15 thereon, which in the embodiment would be useful with the crowning Verschgreselementober Structure 83 '.
- the risk of suction of a bag or a bag neck by the suction device 100 or the application to the grid 15 and a resulting malfunction during operation does not exist because the suction device 100 preferably in a corner of the chamber 4 (see Fig. 1 ) is provided.
- the invention is not limited to the use of a chamber belt machine. It is also applicable to a chamber machine without a conveyor belt.

Abstract
Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verpackungsmaschine und ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von Produkten in Beuteln, insbesondere für eine Kammerbandmaschine. The present invention relates to a packaging machine and a method for packaging products in bags, in particular for a chamber belt machine.
In the field of chamber belt machines, a suction device is usually provided for the evacuation of a vacuum chamber in the lid of the machine.
