Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Aussieben von ersten Partikeln aus einem erste und zweite Partikel umfassenden Granulat durch Fördern des Granulats entlang einer von einer Vibrationseinrichtung (10) ausgehenden ersten Siebfläche (18), wobei die ersten Partikel ein Aspektverhältnis a1 mit a1 > 3 : 1, und die zweiten Partikel eine Dimensionierung aufweisen, die ein Hindurchfallen durch die Maschen der ersten Siebfläche (18) ermöglicht. Um aus dem Granulat eine bestimmte Materialfraktion abzusieben, die sich in zumindest einer Dimension geometrisch von dem übrigen Material unterscheidet, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Granulat entlang der Siebfläche (18) zwischen dieser und einer sich entlang der Siebfläche (18) erstreckenden Abdeckung (42,114) gefördert wird und dass durch die Abdeckung (42,114) bedingt die ersten Partikel (38) mit ihren Längsachsen entlang der Siebfläche (18) verlaufend ausgerichtet werden, wobei Längenerstreckung eines jeden ersten Partikels (38) größer als Maschenweite des die erste Siebfläche (18) bildenden Siebs ist und Längenerstreckung der zweiten Partikel gleich oder kleiner als die Maschenweite ist.
