Description

The invention relates to a slider for a concealment device, such as a rolling shutter apron, in the form of a "U" -shaped profile defining a groove and comprising a bottom and two parallel walls delimiting a lateral opening in said slider, it comprises a stop device designed capable of constituting an abutment with which is provided able to cooperate said occultation device.

The present invention relates to the field of closing and occultation systems for the building. She will find a particular interest in shutters or other sectional doors.

Specifically, such shutters or sectional doors comprise an apron consisting of a juxtaposition of blades whose ends are caused to move in guiding slides, usually in the form of section profiles in "U". These slides therefore ensure the guidance of these blades during the folding and unfolding phases of the deck, but also their maintenance, particularly in the closed position, that is to say, occultation.

If such a closure system, more particularly a roller shutter, usually takes up position in the frame of a door or window, so that in the deployed position the first blade of the deck can bear on the threshold or the shelf from this door or window, it is not uncommon to encounter cases of implantation where such support is absent, especially when the closure system is reported applied against the facade of a building.

Under these conditions, the abutment on which the apron deployed is deployed through its first blade is usually defined by bits that are inserted from the lower end into the lateral guide slides.

Indeed, insofar as these tips are engaged longitudinally behind the scenes, from their lower end, or in a direction of displacement opposite to that taken by the deck during deployment, this apron can, through its weight and / or a too high deployment speed, or even under the influence of the thrust exerted on the deck by a self-locking device, cause the disengagement of this tip stop stop.

It should be recalled, in this respect, that such a self-locking device has the function, at the end of deployment of the deck, to exert on the latter a pressure to prevent it can be reassembled by acting directly on this apron, for example, during an attempted break-in.

Anyway, after disengagement of the abutment stop the first blades of the deck have the possibility of escaping side guide slides. In this case, the folding of the deck is often made impossible, whether because of a relative movement of the first blades together, their recess or the abutment that constitute in these conditions the lower end edges of the scenes in opposing the reinsertion of said blades in the latter.

Precisely, the object of the present invention is to prevent the disengagement of such stop devices.

It should be noted that it is already known, in particular by the document DE-U-85.23.314 a stop device in the form of a screw extending through the slide in a direction perpendicular to the movement in the latter of said shading device. This screw intervenes in this case in as high abutment. However, it is noted in this prior document that the channel in the slide borrows a particular shape, allowing the implementation of this screw so that it is accessible from the internal side to the dwelling this by, compared to the deck. Also, this slide can no longer be in the usual form of a U-shaped section having two parallel walls connected by a bottom. In addition, to allow the apron to cooperate with this screw the final blade must be equipped with specific tips capable of extending into the particular configuration channel of the slide.

The present invention aims to solve this risk of disengagement of the slide of the stop device, without this entails profound changes in the design of the concealment device itself.

For this purpose, the invention relates to a slider for a concealment device, such as a rolling shutter apron, in the form of a "U" -shaped profile defining a groove and comprising a bottom and two parallel walls delimiting a lateral opening in said slide, which comprises a stop device designed capable of constituting a stop with which is provided able to cooperate said occulting device, said slide having interlocking means for receiving, by displacement in a substantially perpendicular direction to the longitudinal axis of the slide and by engagement in said groove, through the lateral opening of this slide, complementary engagement means that includes said stop device to ensure the immobilization of the latter in this slide at least in the direction of movement in the latter of said occulting device.

In sum, the stop device is provided capable of being engaged on the slide, not by a fitting from the lower end and in the longitudinal direction of this slide, but by interlocking in the groove of the latter, in a direction perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. In this way the concealment device can not cause the disengagement of this stop device by pushing it in a direction perpendicular to its interlocking.

Furthermore, it will be noted that it is customary to adjust the length of the slides to the height of the tables of a door or window frame, so as to rest the lower end of said slides on the threshold. However, this may not have been leveled, if only because of tolerances accepted in the building sector.

In this case, the first blade of the deck, coming to bear on this threshold which is not square, is positioned at an angle relative to the following blades, likely to cause a shift between the following blades. A slide according to the invention comprising a slide stop fitted, not from the lower end in this slide, but transversely in the latter, makes it possible to respond to this problem. Indeed, this slide stop can be positioned at any point along this slide, in particular, so as to maintain square with respect thereto, the first blade of the deck, even when the window sill does not does not respect this squaring condition.

Thus, as shown in the figures of the accompanying drawing, the present invention relates to a slide 1 for occulting device, such as shutter apron, blind or the like.

In this respect, the remainder of the description will more particularly refer to a roller shutter of which it is visible, in the Figures 2 and 3 , the final blade 2 which, in the deployed position of this apron, is provided able to bear against a stop device 3 that includes the slide 1. In the case of a blind, there will be found, instead of the final blade 2, a threshold bar.

It should be noted that such a concealment device can also take the form of a retractable garage door, of the sectional door type, or even of a flap or a folding door whose apron blades are adapted, in position folded, to stack on top of each other in a box or other suitable storage space.

Note, again, that the slide 1, according to the invention, can, according to the direction of movement of the occultation device adopt different orientations, horizontal, vertical ....

Anyway, such a slide 1 is generally in the form of a U-shaped section comprising two parallel walls 4, 5 made integral through a bottom 6.

Very frequently, behind the bottom 6 such a slide 1 comprises a channel 7 contributing to various fasteners, if only for the reception of fasteners, such as screws or other, to make this slide 1 of a construction.

In addition, the slide 1 comprises interlocking means 8 for receiving, by moving in a direction 9 substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 10 of the slide 1 and by interlocking in the groove of the latter, interlocking means complementary 11 of said stop device 3, this to ensure the immobilization of the latter in said slide 1 at least in the direction of movement in the latter of said occulting device.

Thus, according to the invention, the stop device 3 is fitted into the groove of the slide 1 in this perpendicular direction, this through the lateral opening, delimited by the parallel walls 4, 5 of said slide 1. In sum this nesting direction extends parallel to the plane of deployment of the occulting device.

The interlocking means 8 are constituted by at least one support flange defined in said slide 1 on which is designed able to bear the stop device 3 so as to ensure its immobilization in translation in the axial direction 10 in this slide 1.

In particular, said support flange is in the form of at least one cutout 12, 12A, 12B in the bottom 6 and / or at least one of the parallel walls 4, 5, cutout in which is designed apt to come engage a latching tongue 13, 13A, 13B adapted to the stop device 3 and constituting, substantially, the complementary interlocking means 11.

Very frequently, at the edge of the free end 14, 15, the parallel walls 4, 5 are provided with return hooks 16, 17 defining grooves for the engagement of a seal 18. Preferably, the cutouts 12A, 12B are made in these free ends 14, 15 of the parallel walls 4, 5, up to the hooking returns 16, 17 which provide support edges of comfortable width for the support of the tongues d latching 13A, 13B defined, laterally, at the stop device 3.

Similarly, the hooking tab 13, at the rear edge of the stop device 3 is designed to cooperate with the cutout 12 in the bottom 6 of the slide 1. Advantageously, it extends widely through this cutout 12 , in the channel 7 located behind this bottom 6 of the slide 1.

Moreover, as visible in the figure 3 this latching tongue 13 can be adjusted to the internal section of this channel 7, while having an opening 19 to not close it.

Preferably, the stop device 3 comprises, in a complementary manner, retaining means 20 designed to oppose its dislocation of the slide 1 after interlocking.

These retaining means 20 consist, according to an exemplary embodiment, of recesses 21, at the level of the side edges 22 of the stop device 3, such recesses 21 being provided able to extend elastically to the back of a hooking flange that defines a snapback 17 extending internally to the slide 1 at the parallel walls 4, 5.

According to another particularity of the invention, the stop device 3 comprises a cutout 23 conferring on it a form of fork with two branches 24, 25 delimiting a passage corridor 26 in the slideway 1.

Thus, this corridor 26 can be adjusted to allow the passage at least partially of a blade 2 of the occulting device, while being able to cooperate with a complementary stop 27 equipping the blade 2, or a next blade in the case of an apron composed of a juxtaposition of such blades.

Thus, this complementary stop 27, in the form of a tip attached to the end of a blade 2, may be at a distance from the lower edge 28 of the latter. Thus, the stop device 3, according to the invention, can be placed at a distance from the lower end of the slide 1 in order to allow interlocking therein in the direction according to the invention, while being able to cooperate with the final blade of the concealment device.

In fact, the stop device 3, according to the invention, can be placed at any point along this slide 1 to cooperate with such a complementary stop 27 coming to equip said concealment device.

It will be noted, in this connection, that such a stop device 3 can still act as a high stop preventing the final blade 2 of the occultation device from escaping from these slides in the final phase of folding.

Advantageously, the cutout 23 conferring on the stop device 3 a fork shape delimiting two branches 24, 25, has the advantage of giving the latter the necessary elasticity to the retaining means 20 to cooperate with the slide 1 and prevent dislocation.

As can be seen from the foregoing description, the present invention advantageously overcomes the drawbacks of the state of the art.

Claims (7)

1. Side guide (1) for a shading device, such as a roller shutter apron, in the form of a U-shaped profile bar defining a groove and including a bottom (6) and two parallel walls (4, 5) delimiting a side opening in said side guide (1), the latter including a stopper (3) designed capable of constituting a stop, which said shading device is capable of cooperating with, wherein said side guide (1) includes fitting means (8) designed capable of receiving, through moving in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (10) of the side guide (1) and through inserting into said groove, through the side opening of this side guide (1), of complementary fitting means (11) said stopper (3) includes for ensuring the immobilization of the latter in said side guide (1) at least in the direction of movement in the latter of said shading device.

Side guide (1) according to claim 1, wherein the fitting means (8) are comprised of at least one bearing edge defined in said side guide (1) on which the stopper (3) is designed capable of resting in order to ensure its immobilization in translation in the axial direction (10) in this side guide (1).

Side guide (1) according to claim 2, wherein said bearing edge is in the form of at least one cut-out (12, 12A, 12B) in the bottom (6) and/or at least one of the parallel walls (4, 5), into which cut-out inserts an adapted coupling tongue (13, 13A, 13B), constituting the complementary fitting means (11) of said stopper (3).

Side guide (1) according to claim 3, wherein the stopper (3) includes, on its rear edge, a coupling tongue (13) designed capable of cooperating with a cut-out (12) in the bottom (6) of the side guide (1) and of considerably extending through this cut-out (12), in a channel (7) located in the back of said bottom (6) of the side guide (1).
5. Side guide (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the stopper (3) includes retaining means (20) designed capable of preventing its extraction from the side guide (1) after insertion.

Side guide (1) according to claim 5, wherein the retaining means (20) are formed of st-backs (21) at the level of the side edges (22) of said stopper (3), such set-backs (21) being capable of extending elastically at the back of a coupling rim a a coupling bend (17) defines, which extends inside the side guide (1) at the level of the parallel walls (4, 5) of the latter.
7. Side guide (1) according to any of the preceding Claims, wherein the stopper (3) includes a cut-out (23) providing same with a shape of a two-leg fork (24, 25) delimiting a passage aisle (26) in the side guide (1).
