Description

The invention relates to a roller shutter box extension device for receiving an additional occultation and / or protection device, such as a blind, a mosquito net or the like. The invention also relates to a roller shutter comprising such an extension device.

The present invention relates to the field of protection devices and occultation, such as blinds, mosquito nets, shutters or the like.

It is more and more common to equip a window with means of protection or partial occultation, such as a blind, making it possible to protect a house against the sun's rays, or a mosquito net so as to prevent the entrance of flying insects, this doubles as more hermetic closing means, type roller shutter.

In this regard, some difficulties arise when it is desired to add such a device for occultation and / or additional protection to shutters, called renovation, provided to be reported from the outside, in the frame of a door or window.

Obviously, the casing of such a roller shutter can be pre-sized to accommodate, not only the apron wrapped around its winding axis, but also this blind or this additional mosquito net, and its drive mechanism.

Note, in this regard, that this implantation in the box is thus determined so that the blind or this mosquito net can extend parallel to the back of the shutter apron, either between the apron and the door or window.

However, it should be noted that under these conditions of renovation, the casing of the shutter adopts a provision in which it is prominent externally, in the upper part of a door or window. Therefore, for aesthetic issues and thickness of the splaying in which must take position said shutter, it is desirable to have a box that is as small as possible. In the end, in view of the foregoing, it is well understood that there is no simple solution for the time being, which, in the event of renovation, will make it possible to double a roller shutter or not. a blind, a mosquito net or other, while having, in all cases, a box with dimensions systematically optimized choice chosen.

Such roller shutter box extension devices are still known from the documents DE29920244-U and DE29615102-U .

Finally, the present invention is intended to respond to this problem through a roller shutter box extension device which, by simple substitution to the wall of this box being substantially in the extension of the apron guide channels , allows to enlarge this box sufficiently to be able to implement the winding mechanism of a blind, a mosquito net or similar. Thus, this blind or this mosquito net can be guided laterally by slides that are interposed between those of the deck of said shutter and the amounts of the frame of the door or window that comes to equip the latter.

More particularly, the invention relates to a roller shutter box extension device for receiving an additional occultation and / or protection device, such as a blind, a mosquito net or the like, said box having at least one upper wall, side flanges and a front wall located substantially in the extension of the guiding runners of the deck of said shutter, the device having upper and lateral extension walls provided adapted, on the one hand, to cooperate through means of connection, with the upper wall and side flanges of said roller shutter box, characterized in that on these upper and lateral extension walls being further provided to be reported said said front wall of the box.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, this extension device defines means for receiving the winding mechanism of said concealment and / or protection device.

According to another particularity of the invention, the means of connection with the upper wall and the side flanges of the box are defined by means of attachment complementary to the hooking means equipping, on the edge, the upper wall and its side flanges.

The advantages of the present invention consist in that the dimension of a shutter box can be easily adapted to the fact that it must or not integrate an additional occultation and / or protection device, such as a blind, a mosquito net or other.

In short, for the manufacturer it suffices to manage the manufacture and keep in stock, on the one hand, standard roller shutter boxes and, on the other hand, extension devices adapted to these standard boxes for, the case If necessary, configure them so that they are able to receive this device for occultation and / or additional protection.

The invention is explained in more detail in the following description relating to embodiments given by way of example and illustrated in the figures of the attached drawing.

As shown in the figures of the attached drawing, the present invention relates to the field of roller shutters and relates, in particular, a device 1 for extending a box 2 of such a shutter 3, particularly suitable for renovation .

In this respect, this casing 2 of shutter comprises, as visible in the figure 1 , an upper wall 4 and a vertical wall 5, immediately juxtaposed to the deployment plane of the deck (not shown) of the shutter 3, this vertical wall 5 being referred to as the front wall in the following description.

It further comprises an underside 6 delimiting, in particular with the front wall 5, a slot 7 for passage of said apron, and a rear wall 8 or inspection hatch. Indeed, insofar as in case of renovation the front wall 5 of the casing 2 roller shutter 3 is intended to apply externally on the joinery, such as a door, window or the like, access to the mechanism of winding 9 of the apron can intervene only through this rear wall 8 provided removable for this purpose.

To return to the extension device 1, it comprises a front vertical wall 5A adjusted at least in length to that of the box 2 of the shutter 3 and the upper extension walls 4A and 11A provided lateral adapted to cooperate, through connecting means 14 appropriate, with the upper wall 4 and the side flanges 11 of said housing 2.

In particular, in the case it is necessary to extend the casing 2 of a shutter 3 to include an additional device for concealment and / or protection, type store, mosquito net or similar, it is removed its front wall 5 that it can, if necessary, recover to define the vertical wall before 5A of said extension device 1. In the case where said attachment means 12 have an unsuitable shape, a cut-out can be made at the level of the upper wall 4 and, where appropriate, at the level of the lateral flanges 11 of the casing 2 which have a straight edge 15 with which they are able to cooperate interlocking means 16 that comprise, then, on their edge 17 the upper extension walls 4A and lateral 11A for the definition of the connecting means 14.

By way of example shown in the accompanying drawing, such interlocking means 16 may take the form of a recess 18 at the edge 19 of these upper and upper extension walls 4A and 11A so as to allow them to extend, partially, under the upper wall 4 and the side flanges 11 of the box 2. A riveting, welding, screwing and / or gluing ensures, ultimately, a rigid connection of the extension device 1 to the box 2.

As an interlocking means 16, the edge 17 of the extension walls 4A and 11A can have a "U" shape enabling them to engage the end edge 15 of the top wall 4 and the side flanges 11 of the caisson 2.

According to the invention, this extension device 1 can define in itself means for receiving the additional concealment and / or protection device and comprise, internally, means 20 adapted for mounting its winding mechanism.

In particular as represented in the figure 2 such means 20 may be in the form of end pieces for pivotally receiving the winding shaft 21 of such a concealment and / or protection device. More simply, these means 20 may be defined by openings for the passage of any fastening members and / or bearing for receiving axle sections on which is pivotally mounted said winding shaft 21.

Insofar as, usually, there persists in the box 2 an available space in the upper angle 22 located, substantially in the vertical extension of the guide rails 23 of the lateral guide roller shutter 3, the receiving means of the device d additional concealment and / or protection can be defined, substantially, in part by the casing 2 and the extension device 1. In this way we optimize the final size of the casing 2.

Thus, in this configuration and in case of renovation, this additional blind or mosquito net is perfectly able to deploy at the rear of the shutter apron, or between the latter and the door or window against which is applied, externally, said rolling shutter 3.

Note that for this deployment, this blind or this mosquito net can be guided laterally by means of adapted slides 24 which are interposed between the door or window and the slides 23 for the apron guide of the roller shutter, as visible in FIG. figure 2 . He was again represented in the figure 3 a double slide 23A replacing the slide 23 to guide both the apron and the additional blind.

The present invention, therefore, responds advantageously to the problem.

Claims (9)

Extension device for a box (2) of a roller shutter (3) for accommodating an additional obscuring and/or protective device, such as a blind, a mosquito net or the like, said box including at least one upper wall (4), side flanges (11) and a front wall (5) located substantially in the extension of the guiding grooves for the apron of said roller shutter (3), the device including upper (4A) and side (11A) extension walls designed capable, on the one hand, of cooperating through adequate connecting means (16), with the upper wall (4) and the side flanges (11) of said box (2) of the roller shutter (3), wherein said front wall (5) of the box (2) is also designed capable of being applied against these upper (4A) and side (11A) extension walls.

Extension device according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the connecting means (14) are defined, at the level of the upper (4A) and side (11A) extension walls, by complementary hooking means designed capable of cooperating with the hooking means (12) the upper wall (4) and the side flanges (11) of the box (2) of a roller shutter (3) include.
