- the actuating member 30, and in particular the rod 31 may be made of plastic material whose hardness is greater than that forming the piston 24, for example polypropylene for the member 30 and polyethylene for the piston 24.
- the actuating member 30 comprises radial fins 33 which extend from the rod so as to form axial fluid passages therebetween through said member.

- the needle 23 is moved to the ejection position by pressing the flange 36 which is movable on the actuating member 30 which is fixed. To do this, the force required to move the rod 31 in the channel 25 is arranged to be greater than that required to actuate the displacement device via the flange 36. It will be noted that the opening of the orifice ejection 13 was carried out substantially without pressurizing the liquid, only by mechanical interaction between the parts of the pump.
- the rod 31 moves in the channel 25 so as to reduce the volume of the metering chamber and thus to cause the distribution of the liquid through the ejection orifice 13.
