Definitions
- the present invention relates to a flexible, in particular rollable floor covering according to the preamble of the main claim.
- rigid, non-rollable floors are typically made of plastic elements (tiles), textiles (carpeting), rubber, linoleum, parquet or wood-based laminates, which are a printed decorative surface layer by means of a so-called decorative paper have realized.
- rollable (rollable) floor coverings of the generic type are typically multi-layered arrangements of flexible, resilient plastics (again PVC in their center of gravity), linoleum or textiles (carpeting) which are patterned in the mass or printed on the surface.
- flexible, resilient plastics asgain PVC in their center of gravity
- linoleum or textiles as well as textiles
- textiles carrying
- the purpose of such carrier materials is to increase the penetration resistance of the floor covering, i. the avoidance of damage to the surface of the covering by mechanically generated impressions, in addition the support of plastic layers in the manufacturing process.
- Flexible floor coverings in the form of rollable coverings are generally marketed in rolls that are approx. 200 cm wide and 2 to 3.5 mm thick rolled up. Differences are thereby homogeneous, i. coverings uniformly formed over the web thickness and so-called heterogeneous coverings consisting of several
- BEST ⁇ TSGUNGSKOPIE reren layers of different properties are constructed.
- These heterogeneous coverings typically have a textile layer on which a (suitably printed) intermediate layer is provided, which in turn is provided with a usually transparent wear layer.
- the printed layer consists of highly elastic polymer films or loose plastisol foam layers to ensure the material can be rolled up.
- Common rollable floor coverings consist predominantly of elastic or thermo-elastic material and thus offer a typically high level of walking comfort.
- the surface properties of generic rollable floor coverings are limited in terms of scratch or abrasion resistance, so that such floor coverings are practically not suitable for object or industrial environments with heavy load.
- Non-rollable floor coverings are usually realized in the form of plate-shaped, non-flexible plastic coverings, or in the form of wood coverings (parquet or laminate).
- Not flexible plastic coverings structurally usually rollable homogeneous products, but are designed by high Gearstoffanteile or various intermediate layers rigid and dimensionally stable.
- the use of paper-based decor carrier is not possible here, since existing production methods do not allow the use of non-stretchable decor paper.
- a laminate floor covering typically consists of an approx. 6 to 10 mm thick HDF board, the upper side of which is provided with a decorative paper and an abrasion-resistant and transparent O lateay paper as cover layer, which in turn is predominantly thermally curable melamine resin over a hot-melt Pressing be made usable.
- Raw slabs so produced are cut into suitable utility elements and provided with grooving and springing systems via milling processes, these elements typically floating, i. without glue, to be laid.
- abrasion resistance with flexibility in use and installation, especially on non-planning sites (such as projections or stairs), combined, is also suitable for humid environments and also in the production is simple and economical to produce.
- the flexible and particularly preferably rollable trained floor covering as multi-layered (in the context of the present disclosure, these terms are used interchangeably) arrangement consisting of a cover layer, .einer self-multilayer support layer and one between the cover layer and the support layer
- the purpose of the stress compensation layer is realized according to the invention, mechanical stresses of the cover layer (which typically and predominantly has a paper sheet as a base) by - rigid structure of the support layer (more precisely: the stabilization layer as part of the support layer ) or to compensate.
- particles of the carrier layer are used in the form of wood particles or wood flour, but within a polymer layer, arises in the manner of a "rollable wood” a flooring product, which in addition to the described advantages of both traditional worlds - the rollable floors on the one hand, the rigid laminate floors on the other - realizes favorable material costs and yet is not subject to the wood-inherent problem of swelling under the influence of moisture.
- the stress compensation layer of the invention makes it possible to absorb any frictions that occur between the (typically paper-based) cover layer and the stabilization layer in a rolling process and, without compensation, either to buckling of the rigid body of the stabilization layer, which is usually realized as fibers, or else Upsetting or tearing the paper sheet, would lead.
- the stress compensation layer comprises a polymer or a polymeric mixture which, to some extent, typically by means of suitable additives, enables a cold flow so that the stress compensation layer also has the character of a sliding layer.
- organosols or plastisols advantageously used for this purpose (a typical realization is a swollen in plasticizing Phuran kind polymer such as a suitable PVC or a suitable polyacrylate) achieve these advantageous properties, and by suitable selection and adjustment of the layer thickness and the material for the stabilizing layer, the desired stress-relieving effect can be achieved.
- the stress compensation layer is particularly effective when the material of the stress compensation layer at least partially penetrates or soaks through the stabilizing layer or its rigid body (ie in the preferred embodiment, in particular its fibers), so that, in addition to the described effect as a sliding layer, the stress compensation layer also has a mechanical fastening and gluing the layers causes and arise in the sequence of layers, the stress compensation layer and the stabilizing layer as a common layer and / or seamlessly merging layers.
- suitable structured or patterned surfaces such as a wood grain or a replicated tile, tile or ceramic structure by appropriately structuring the cover layer (or its overhead coating), wherein further development according to a synchronization of such structuring can be done with a suitable decorative printing on the paper or plastic film of the cover layer.
- the floor covering according to the invention is highly resistant to abrasion;
- the floor covering according to the invention can be based to DIN-EN 13329 (method S42), to achieve an abrasion resistance of above 1500 revolutions.
- the cover layer is also constructed in multiple layers, namely by means of a first, applied to the paper or plastic film resin layer (which further preferably penetrates the paper film or penetrates), and a second, formed on the first layer resin layer, wherein
- the resins are radiation-curing, and more preferably the first layer comprises the abrasive fillers (but not the second layer).
- wood particles or wood flour as filler particles in the context of the support layer according to the invention is particularly preferred, other particles, such as recyclates from the waste plastic recycling, can be suitably used, so that inexpensive material can be introduced meaningful and effective.
- the floor covering also carries on its (bottom side) underside a material for impact sound absorption, which in principle can be realized arbitrarily ', but preferably a latex foam or the like. Has damping means.
- the present invention provides, in surprisingly effective and simple, economical manner, a high performance floor covering product which combines the advantageous properties of rigid, such as laminate-based floors with the favorable elasticity, damping and rolling properties of traditional rollable floors, thus assuming this is that with the present invention numerous applications can be developed in an economically advantageous manner.
- Fig. 1 a schematic and not to scale layer diagram of the floor covering according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention.
- the production of the floor covering in the exemplary embodiment of FIG. 1 initially takes place by producing a film-like polymer layer 10, as known from the prior art by conventional methods.
- recycled plastics for example polyolefins such as PP or PE
- wood flour typically addition of 50% by weight
- a glass web of a basis weight of 40 g / m2 by means of coating an organosol (eg PVC plastisol) is laminated, so that in this way the glass web as stabilization layer 12 (about 0.3 mm thick) of the Organosol is penetrated as a stress equalization layer.
- organosol eg PVC plastisol
- decorative paper 14 of the type Nanofin (manufactured and available from WKP Kunststoffplattenwerke GmbH, D-72669 Unterensingen) is laminated by means of a gelling drum, so that the organosol wets the paper backside.
- the gelling process leads to a permanent bonding of the layers.
- This decorative paper as cover layer typically has a layer of printed paper 60 microns thick, which is coated towards its outer top with a first and second resin layer.
- the first resin layer comprises a radiation curing resin (applied aqueous, eg, IRR 395, 40%) in combination with an abrasive, inorganic filler (eg, Plakor 30).
- This first layer applied in the production of decor paper, for example by means of a slot die in a typical layer thickness between 10 and 100 micrometers, may additionally contain color pigments and is formulated for maximum abrasion resistance.
- the overlying second layer of the seal determines the other surface properties, in particular gloss, appearance and surface structure.
- This applied after drying the first layer second layer consists of a radiation-curing binder, such as in the form of a polyester acrylate, epoxy acrylate or urethane acrylate (eg Ebecryl 1016), in turn, applied by known coating options such as roller, slot nozzle or doctor blade. Also, mat be added to adjusting a level of gloss or slip additives.
- the embedding or penetration of the glass fleece with the organosol prevents individual fibers of the glass fleece from leading to unfavorable puncturing, tearing or unfolding of the paper when the overall arrangement is bent or rolled, and the structure obtained by the glass fleece acquires outstanding mechanical strength properties.
- Theylonanordung thus formed can go avoirsgemäss on its opposite side of the cover layer an otherwise known soft, especially impact sound absorbing additional backing layer (not shown) obtained from PU or latex foam, so that a total thickness of about 4 mm would be achieved.
