Claims (17)

  1. Inlet and overflow fitting for bath tubs comprising an overflow body (1) which can be fixed to a through hole of a bath tub wall and comprises an overflow duct and a water supply, a rotary rosette (8) and a drive part for a driving gear for opening and closing a drain valve of the bath tub, said drive part being operable by means of the rotary rosette (8), the overflow body having a bearing sleeve (9) for a drive shaft (13) which can be operated by means of the rotary rosette, and a connecting pipe (1.1) surrounding the bearing sleeve and limiting an inlet duct (15), and an inlet part (16) connected to the overflow body being arranged on the rear side of the rotary rosette,
    characterised in that the connecting pipe (1.1) limiting the inlet duct (15) ends with a space before the end face of the overflow body (1) which faces the bath tub wall, the inlet part (16) being fitted to the connecting pipe (1.1) in a sealed manner and being fixed to the bearing sleeve (9) comprising an internal screw thread by means of a screw (17) having an axial opening (17.1), and the drive shaft (13) of the rotary rosette (8) extending through the axial opening (17.1) of the screw (17).
  2. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the space measures at least 3 mm.
  3. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the connecting pipe (1.1) is formed coaxially with the bearing sleeve (9), the inlet duct (15) limited by the connecting pipe (1.1) being ring shaped.
  4. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the inlet part (16) has at least one pipe piece (16.3) which in the operating position discharges into the bath tub, said pipe piece extending parallel to the bath tub wall and the clear cross-section thereof being slot shaped.
  5. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 4, characterised in that, in the assembled state of the inlet part (16), the pipe piece (16.3) rests against on the inner surface of the bath tub wall.
  6. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the pipe piece (16.3) has a slot width in the range of 2 to 6 mm and a slot length in the range of 25 to 60 mm.
  7. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the inlet part (16) consists of a plastics material injection-moulded part formed in one piece.
  8. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the inlet part (16) is provided with an annular cover (21) which comprises a recess (21.1) for receiving a pipe piece of the inlet part (16), which pipe piece discharges into the bath tub, and is detachably lockable to the inlet part (16).
  9. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 8, characterised in that the external diameter of the rotary rosette (8) is larger than the external diameter of the cover (21).
  10. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the rotary rosette (8) is formed of a circular disc-shaped body (8.1), having a maximum thickness in the range of 3 to 8 mm.
  11. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that in the assembled state of the rotary rosette (8), the front side thereof protrudes no more than 25 mm, in particular no more than 23 mm, from the inner surface of the bath tub wall.
  12. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the screw (17) comprises a flange-shaped screw head (17.2), at least two recesses (17.3) being formed into the front surface thereof for the positive fitting of an assembly tool.
  13. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 12, characterised in that the front side of the inlet part (16) comprises a ring-shaped protrusion (16.8) as a limit stop for the screw head (17).
  14. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the screw (17) comprises a flange-shaped screw head (17.2), in the outer surface of which a peripheral ring groove (17.4) is formed, the rotary rosette (8) comprising snap-in pins on its rear side which can be locked into the ring groove (17.4).
  15. Inlet and overflow fitting according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the rotary rosette (8) is provided with a movably mounted handle (8.4) which can be moved from a non-operational position to an operational position protruding from the front surface and/or the circumference of the rotary rosette (8).
  16. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 15, characterised in that the handle (8.4) can be folded in and out to move between its non-operational position and its operational position.
  17. Inlet and overflow fitting according to claim 15 or 16, characterised in that the handle (8.4) is in the form of a bow-shaped handle.
