Verfahren zur Sanierung einer Schotterbettung (2) eines Gleises (3), wobei verunreinigter Schotter (25) durch eine Räumvorrichtung (16,20) aufgenommen und durch eine erste Förderbandeinheit (27) einer Siebeinheit (39) zur Reinigung zugeführt wird, gekennzeichnet durch ein in Abhängigkeit des Verschmutzungsgrades der Schotterbettung (2) wahlweise durchführbares erstes und ein zweites Arbeitsverfahren (A, B), wobei a) im ersten Arbeitsverfahren (A) eine obere Schichte (34) des Schotters durch eine - bezüglich einer Arbeitsrichtung - vordere Räumvorrichtung (16) aufgenommen und der ersten Förderbandeinheit (27) zugeführt wird, während parallel dazu der restliche Schotter (25) durch eine - bezüglich der Arbeitsrichtung - hintere Räumvorrichtung (20) aufgenommen und einer zweiten Förderbandeinheit (29) für einen Abtransport zwecks Entsorgung zugeführt wird, oder b) im zweiten Arbeitsverfahren (B) der Schotter (25) ausschließlich durch die hintere Räumvorrichtung (20) aufgenommen und zur Reinigung auf die erste Förderbandeinheit (27) umgelenkt wird, wobei sich die vordere Räumvorrichtung (16) in einer Außerbetriebsteilung befindet.1. Anlage zur Sanierung einer Schotterbettung (2) eines Gleises (3), bestehend aus einer Anzahl von miteinander gekuppelten Fahrzeugen (6) und mit einer bezüglich einer Arbeitsrichtung (5) vorderen Räumvorrichtung (16) zur Aufnahme einer oberen Schotterschichte (34) sowie deren Abwurf auf eine erste Förderbandeinheit (27) für einen Weitertransport zu einer Siebeinheit (39), und mit einer hinteren, zur Aufnahme des unterhalb der oberen Schotterschichte (34) befindlichen restlichen Schotters (25) vorgesehenen Räumvorrichtung (20), der ein Aufnahmeende (28) einer zweiten Förderbandeinheit (29) zum Weitertransport zu einem Ende (42) der Anlage zugeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Umlenkeinrichtung (33) für eine wahlweise Umleitung des Schotters von der zweiten auf die erste Förderbandeinheit (29,27) vorgesehen ist. 2.
