Description
The present invention relates to connection mechanisms plugs and specifically automatic connection terminals, providing a terminal of great simplicity of construction that gives great functionality to the system through the speed of connection and disconnection of drivers electrical outlets.
Traditionally, the fixing of electrical conductors on the connection terminals of the electrical devices is carried out using screw terminals, which consist of an elastic metal blade acting as an electrical contact and incorporating a screw with nut and washer or any element similar to achieve the fixing of the cable, thus establishing the continuity of the electrical transmission.
Among the various known systems that have been developed for fastening cables without screws, there are systems whose pressure element is configured in the manner of a push-button or a lever, the latter being able to be secured to the metal blade elastic or rocking relative to the pivots of the same lever or the attachment point thereof.
These solutions have the common feature of actuating the terminal automatically by a lever or control button which passes through a contact carcass to pressure an elastic contact, using for this a complex structural configuration composed of small parts, which represents a great disadvantage at the level of manufacture.
The subject of the invention is an electrical device comprising an automatic connection terminal as defined in
According to the present invention, there is provided an automatic connection terminal, which, due to its construction features, has a structural simplicity that makes it advantageously functional compared to traditional solutions already known, while reducing production costs.
The automatic connection terminal object of the invention applies to an electrical device such as, for example, a socket consisting of a base, a carcass and an intermediate plate, the automatic connection terminal being it. -Even consists of a control lever, a wiring terminal and a metal strip. The wiring terminal and the strip are coupled together so that upper tabs of the strip obstruct the wiring guide ducts.
The terminal strip-strip is inserted into the base, covered by an intermediate plate and enclosed in a housing which is provided with openings through which is introduced the control lever, which is free and rests on the strip.
When the lever is actuated, its end end presses on the metal strip, freeing the passage of the cables through the cable guide ducts, so that the cables can be introduced through said conduits, and when the lever does not more pressure, the strip returns to its initial position, pressing the cables so that they are maintained.

The object of the present invention refers to an automatic connection terminal, for application to any type of electrical device, which has very advantageous construction characteristics and functional characteristics.
The socket (2) to which the terminal (1) of the invention is applied consists of a base piece (3), an intermediate plate (4) and a carcass (5) which are assembled together by clipping.
The enveloping part (9) defines cylindrical ducts (11) which make it possible to guiding and imprisoning the electrical conductors to be connected, leaving, between said ducts (11), an opening (12) through which the elastic strip (10) remains uncovered.
The elastic strip (10) has approximately a "U" shape, one of its branches being longer than the other, and the smaller branch having a central projection (10.1) towards the inner part of the "U" and, on the sides, protrusions (10.2) towards the outer part.
