Die Erfindung betrifft ein Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel und/oder Düngemittel bestehend aus: a) einem Formkörper (1), der einen agrochemischen Wirkstoff und/oder Dünger enthält, und b) einer Vorrichtung, die einen lang gestreckten Schaft (2) aufweist, der am unteren Ende so weit auf gedehnt ist, dass der so gebildete Hohlraum (3) zur Aufnahme eines des Formkörpers (1) geeignet ist, sowie die entsprechende Verwendung.

Description

Applikator Set für Pflanzenschutzmittel und/oder Düngemittel
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Applikator-Set zur Applizierung von Formkörpern enthaltend einen agrochemischen Wirkstoffund/oder Dünger in den Wurzelbereich von Pflanzen.
Bekannt sind Applikator-Vomchtungen, bei denen ein Düngestäbchen in die Pflanzerde eingebracht wird (vgl. DE G 8703761 Ul, DE-A 1827977). Der dabei verwendete Applikator verbleibt aber während der Düngung in der Erde bis das Düngestäbchen verbraucht ist oder wieder herausgenommen wird. Die Applikatoren dienen daher zur Kontrolle des Düngungsvorgang und zur einfachen Entfernung der Düngestäbchen.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt jedoch die Lösung einer anderen Aufgabe zugrunde. Für den Heim und Garten Bereich werden viele Pflanzenschutzmittel und/oder Düngemittel in Form von Formkörpern (z.B.
Tabletten oder Stäbchen) angeboten. Nachteilig ist dabei, dass der Anwender dieser Mittel die Formkörper selbst applizieren muss. Eine optimale Wirkung erzielen die Mittel nur, wenn diese tief in das Erdreich oder Wachstumsmedium bis in den Wurzelbereich der zu behandelnden Pflanze eingebracht werden. Für die optimale Platzierung muss der Anwender daher per Hand den Formkörper in das Erdreich drücken. Soweit die AppHzierung mit bloßen Händen zulässig ist, beschmutzt sich der Anwender dabei in unangenehmer Weise die Hände. Zudem kann der Formkörper beim Eindrücken in das Erdreich mit einem
Finger nicht beliebig tief in den Wurzelbereich der Pflanze gedrückt werden. Bei der AppHzierung von
Pflarizenschutzmitteln müssen bei diesem Appliziervorgang zudem meist Handschuhe getragen werden. Es bestand daher ein Bedarf den Applikationsvorgang für den Anwender der Pflanzenschutz- und/oder Düngemittel zu vereinfachen.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß durch ein Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel üad/oder Düngemittel bestehend aus
a) einem Formkörper (1), der einen agrochemischen Wirkstoffund/oder Dünger enthält,
und
b) einer Vorrichtung, die einen lang gestreckten Schaft (2) aufweist, der am unteren Ende so geformt ist, dass ein Hohlraum (3) zur Aufnahme eines Formkörpers entsteht.
Mit dem erfuidungsgemäßen Applikator-Set entfällt die unbequeme Applizierung der Formkörper per Hand.
Der Formkörper (1) wird bei der Applikation mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Set zunächst durch eine Klemmwirkung im Hohlraum (3) leicht fixiert. Der Hohlraum ist dabei so an den Formkörper angepasst, dass die gewünschte Fixierung auftritt. Dann wird der Applikator mit dem Formkörper in das Erdreich bzw. Wachstumsmedium in den Wurzelbereich der zu behandelnden Pflanze gedrückt. Beim Herausziehen des Applikators aus dem Erdreich bzw. Wachstumsmedium löst sich der nun in der Erde bzw. dem Wachstumsmedium eingeklemmte Formkörper aus dem Hohlraum (3) des Schafts (2) und bleibt in der gewünschten Lage im Erdreich zurück.
Durch den lang gestreckten Schaft (2), der vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff besteht, ist eine optimale Platzierung im tiefer gelegen Wurzelbereich der Pflanze in deren Wachstumsmedium möglich. Vorzugsweise ist der Schaft am oberen Ende breit ausgebildet, um ein Eindrücken der Applikator- Vorrichtung in das Erdreich zu erleichtern. Um eine optimale Düngung/Pflanzenschutzwirkung zu erreichen, ist der Schaft vorzugsweise genau so lang, dass er eine Applizierung des Formkörpers (1) im Hauptwurzelwerk der zu behandelnden Pflanze ermöglicht. Besonders bevorzugt hat der lang gestreckte Schaft (2) eine Länge von 10 bis 25 cm, am meisten bevorzugt von 12 bis 20 cm, da damit für die Behandlung der meisten Pflanzen eine geeignete Applikationstiefe erreicht wird.
Überraschendweise gelingt dem Anwender mit der Applikationshilfe eine so sichere Applizierung der Formkörper, dass die gewünschte Wirkung (Düngeeffekt bzw. Pflanzenschutzwirkung) zuverlässig eintritt.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausfuhrungsform der Erfindung ist der Schaft (2) hohl ausgebildet und besitzt innerhalb des Schaftes liegend einen Stempel (4) bestehend aus einem Stiel und einem Stempelkopf (5), wobei die Länge des Stiels so ausgebildet ist, dass durch Drücken des Stempelkopfs, der sich auf der dem Formkörper (1) gegenüber liegenden Seite des Schafts (2) befindet, ein Herausdrücken des im Hohlraum fixierten Formkörpers (1) in einfacher Weise möglich ist.
Voπeühafterweise kann der Schaft bei dieser Ausführungsform nach zum oberen Ende soweit platt bzw. breit ausgebildet sein, so dass beim Herausdrücken des Formkörpers der Stempelkopf am oberen Ende des Schafts anschlägt und nicht durchgedrückt werden kann.
Diese Ausfuhrungsform besitzt den Vorteil, dass die Klemmwirkung des Formkörpers im Hohlraum vor der Applizierung fester sein kann, was den Umgang mit dem Applikator-Set vereinfacht, da der Formkörper weniger leicht aus der Applikator-Vorrichtung heraus fallt. Zudem vermeidet diese Ausfuhrungsform Probleme beim Lösen des Formkörpers aus dem Hohlraum in der Erde bzw. im Wachstumsmedium.
In einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausfuhrungsform ist der Hohlraum größenverstellbar, so dass Standard-Formkörper unterschiedlicher Größe appliziert werden können. Die Klemmwirkung kann bei einem größenverstellbaren Hohlraum durch eine innen im Schaft liegende Feder erreicht werden. Gemaß einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausruhrungsform der Erfindung umschließt der Hohlraum (3) mindestens 30 %, bevorzugt mindestens 50 % und besonders bevorzugt mindestens 70 % des Volumens des Formkorpers (1), wenn der Formkorper an Hohlraum klemmend fixiert ist Durch die weitgehende Umschließung des Formkorpers wird em Zerbrechen des Formkorpers beim Eindrucken m die Erde bzw das Wachstumsmedium vermieden Stäbchenförmige Formkorper sind so wesentlich besser zu applizieren

Als Dunger enthalten die Formkorper bevorzugt organische und anorganische stickstoffhaltige Verbindungen wie Harnstoff, Hamstoff-Foπnaldehydkondensationsprodukte, Aminosäuren,
Ammoniumslaze und Nitrate, ferner Kaliumsalze (wie z B Chloride, Sulfate und Nitrate) und
Phosphorsaure bzw Salze der Phosphorsaure (wie z B Kaliumsalze und Ammoniumsalze) Des
Weiteren können die Dunger Salze von Mikronahrstoffen (wie z B Mangan, Magnesium, Eisen,
Bor, Kupfer, Zink, Molybdän und Kobalt) sowie Pflanzenhormone (wie z B Vitamin Bl, und Indol- HI-essigsaure) enthalten Bevorzugt ist der Dunger ein handelsüblicher Volldunger

Als Beispiele für Pflanzenwuchsregulatoren seien Chlorcholinchlorid und Ethephon genannt.
Als Beispiele für Pflanzennährstoffe seien übliche anorganische oder organische Dünger zur Versorgung von Pflanzen mit Makro- und/oder Mikronährstoffen genannt.
Als Beispiele für Repellents seien Diethyl-tolylamid, Ethylhexandiol und Buto-pyronoxyl genannt.
Die Wirkstoffgehalte an den agrochemischen Wirkstoffen liegen bevorzugt zwischen O3Ol bis 10 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,1 bis 2,5 Gew.-%.
Die Formkörper werden bevorzugt aus Mischungen aus dem Dünger und/oder dem agrochemischen Wirkstoff mit Klebemitteln und gegebenenfalls Hilfs- und Trägerstoffe hergestellt.
Als erfindungsgemäße Ausführungsformen seien solche besonders genannt, bei denen der Formkörper einen agrochemischen Wirkstoff mit Klebemitteln und gegebenenfalls mit einem Düngerzusatz und sowie gegebenenfalls mit Hilfs- und Trägerstoffen enthält.
Als Klebemittel seien genannt: Haftmittel wie Carboxymethylcellulose, natürliche und synthetische pulvrige, kömige oder latexformige Polymere, Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Vinylpyrrolidon-Styrol- Copolymere, Vinylpyrrolidon-Vinylacetat-Copolymere, Polyethylenglykol oder anorganische Klebemittel wie Gips oder Zement. Sie liegen in der Mischung bevorzugt in Konzentrationen von 1 bis 30 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 2 bis 20 Gew.-% vor.
Als feste Trägerstofffe kommen in Frage: z.B. natürliche Gesteinmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische
Gesteinmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate, außerdem Calcium- phosphat bzw. Calciumhydrogenphosphat. Als feste Trägerstoffe für Granulate kommen in Frage: z.B. gebrochene und fraktionierte natürliche Gesteine wie Calcit, Marmor, Bims, Sepiolith, Dolomit, sowie synthetische Granulate aus organischen und anorganischen Mehlen sowie Granulate aus organischem Material wie Sägemehl, Kokusnussschalen, Maiskolben und Tabakstengel.
Weitere mögliche Hilfsstoffe zur Herstellung der Formkörper sind Sprengmittel und Tenside. Sprengmittel werden eingesetzt, um die Wirkstofffreigabe in Erdreichen zu fördern. Verwendung finden einzeln oder in Kombination Maisstärke, vernetztes Polyvinylpyrrolidon und spezielle Zellulosen. Die Sprengmittel liegen in Konzentrationen von 1 bis 10 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 3 bis 10 Gew.-%, vor.
Tenside werden eingesetzt, um die biologische Wirksamkeit des Wirkstoffs zu verbessern. Ihr Gehalt liegt zwischen 1 bis 10 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 2 bis 5 Gew.-%. Geeignet sind z.B. nichtionische Tenside vom Typ Alkyl-Arylethoxylate.
Die Formkörper können so hergestellt werden wie es in der EP-A 755 370 angegeben ist.
Erfindungsgemäß bevorzugt sind Formkörper die den Wirkstoff Imidacloprid und einen Dünger enthalten. Solche Formkörper an sich sind ebenfalls in der EP-A 755 370 beschrieben. In diesem Fall wird die beschriebene Insektizide Wirksamkeit in besonders vorteilhafter Weise verstärkt, wenn die Formkörper mit der erfindungsgemäßen Applikationshilfe bis in den Wurzelbereich der Pflanzen gebracht werden. Die optimale Platzierung des Formkörpers beschleunigt dabei die Schnelligkeit und Wirkungsstärke des insektiziden Wirkstoffs.
Im Folgenden wird unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung ein Ausfuhrungsbeispiel der Erfindung näher erläutert:
Fig. 1 zeigt eine perspektivische Darstellung der Applikationsvorrichtung mit einem Stempel und einem klemmend fixierten Formkörper. Die Vorrichtung weist einen lang gestreckten Schaft (2) auf, der über seine gesamte Lange zylindrisch ausgebildet ist und sich im unteren Bereich so aufwertet, dass ein Hohlraum (3) gebildet wird Der Hohlraum ist so an den tablettenfbrmigen Formkorper (1) angepasst, dass der Formkorper klemmend im Hohlraum fixiert ist Die Ecken des Formkorper sind leicht abgerundet, um ein Eindrucken in das Erdreich bzw Wachstumsmedium zu erleichtern Im Inneren des Schaftes (2) ist ein Stempel (4) eingeführt, der am oberen Ende aus dem Schaft austritt und dort seinen Stempelkopf (5) hat Durch Drucken des Stempels (4) kann der Formkorper aus dem Hohlraum gedruckt werden Dadurch wird die unterirdische Ablösung des Formkorpers durch den Anwender ermöglicht, wenn der Formkorper m der Erde gut platziert wurde
Nach Platzierung des Formkorpers im Erdreich bzw Wachstumsmedium kann die Applikationsvorπchtung nach Herausziehen aus der Erde bzw dem Wachstumsmedium erneut zur Applizierung weiterer Formkorper verwendet werden

Claims

Patentansprfiche
1. Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutztnittel und/oder Düngemittel bestehend aus
(a) einem Formkörper (1), der einen agrochemischen Wirkstoff und/oder Dünger enthält,
und
(b) einer Vorrichtung, die einen langestreckten Schaft (2) aufweist, der am unteren Ende so geformt ist, dass ein Hohlraum (3) zur Aufnahme eines Formkörpers entsteht.
2. Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel oder Düngemittel gemäß Anspruch 1 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schaft (2) hohl ausgebildet ist und innerhalb des Schaftes liegend einen Stempel (4) bestehend aus einem Stiel und einem Stempelkopf (5) besitzt, wobei die Länge des Stiels so ausgebildet ist, dass durch Drücken des Stempelkopfs, der sich auf der dem Formkörper (1) gegenüber liegenden Seite des Schafts (2) befindet, ein Herausdrücken des im Hohlraum fixierten Formkörpers (1) in einfacher Weise möglich ist.
3. Applikätor-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel oder Düngemittel gemäß Ansprach 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Formkörper (1) ein Stäbchen, eine Platte, ein geformtes und formstabiles Granulat oder eine Tablette ist.
4. Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel oder Düngemittel gemäß Ansprach 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Hohlraum (3) so groß ist, dass er mindestens 30 % des Volumens des Formkörpers (1) umschließt, wenn der Formkörper im Hohlraum fixiert ist.
5. Applikator-Set für Pflanzschutzmittel oder Düngemittel gemäß Ansprach 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Formkörper (1) einen agrochemischen Wirkstoff enthält.
6. Applikator-Set für Pflanzsώutzmittel oder Düngemittel gemäß Ansprach 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Formkörper den Wirkstoff Lnidacloprid und einen Dünger enthält.
7. Verwendung einer Vorrichtung, die einen lang gestreckten Schaft (2) aufweist, der am unteren Ende so geformt ist, dass der so gebildete Hohlraum (3) zur Aufnahme eines Formkörpers (1) geeignet ist, zum Applizieren des Formkörpers (1), der einen agrochemischen Wirkstoff und/oder Dünger enthält, in das Erdreich oder Wachstumsmedium im Wurzelbereich einer Pflanze.
8. Verwendung gemäß Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Applizierung des Formkörpers durch Drücken des Stempels (4) mittels einer Vorrichtung mit einem Stempel erfolgt.
