  1. A closure assembly for a flexible container designed to hold a consumable product, said closure assembly comprising a base (1) and a cap (4):
    - the base (1) having first and second parts (6, 8), the first part of the base (6) being designed to be fitted to a flexible container (7), said first part being provided for this purpose with two peripheral tapered portions (16a, 16b) and;
    - the cap (4) being designed to be fitted to the second part (8) of the base (1) for sealing an opening (2) made in said base (1), said opening (2) of the base (1) emerging onto a surface of the base, the so-called contact surface (9), which is in contact with said consumable product, characterized in that:
    the base (1) has a female thread (13) on the inside of the opening (2) and in that the cap (4) has a male thread (14) corresponding to said female thread (13), thus enabling a portion of the cap to be screwed into the opening (2) of the base, the cap also having a sealing portion (10) so that, once the cap (4) has been fitted by screwing it to the base (1), the sealing portion (10) is tightly fitted in at least one area of the opening (11) located between said female thread (13) and said contact surface (9) of the base (1) and in that the cap has an elongated tubular shape and at one of its ends has a surface (12) in contact with the product, said surface of the cap being provided in such a way that, when the cap is screwed to the base thus sealing the opening, the contact surface of the cap is closer to the female thread of the base than to the surface (9) of the base which is in contact with the product.
  2. A closure assembly according to Claim 1, characterized in that it involves a flexible container (7) in the form of a pouch and in that the base (1) is fitted to said container (7) in such a way as to seal it.
  3. A closure assembly according to Claim 2, characterized in that the container is made up of films and in that said films are joined by welding to the first part of the base in such a way that said tapered portions (16a, 16b) of the first part of the base continue to taper off until they join a plane parallel to the films of the container.
  4. A closure assembly according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the cap (4) and the base (1) are made of materials which are different from one another.
  5. An assembly according to Claim 4, characterized in that the material forming the cap (4) has a hardness which is greater than the hardness of the material forming the base (1).
  6. An assembly according to either one of Claims 4 or 5, characterized in that the material forming the base (1) has a melting point which is lower than the melting point of the material forming the cap (4).
  7. An assembly according to any one of Claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the material forming the cap (4) is high-density polyethylene, HDPE, or polypropylene, PP, and in that the material forming the base (1) is high-density polyethylene, HDPE, or low-density polyethylene, LDPE.
