Claims (14)

  1. Knife (1) having a knife housing (11) and having a blade fixture (12) which is displaceable translationally in the longitudinal direction (x) of the knife housing within a receiving duct (A) of the knife housing (11) and by means of which the knife blade (13) is displaceable, on the one hand, forwards (x1) through a knife pass-through aperture (37) and, on the other hand, back (x2) into the interior (A) of the knife housing; wherein the blade fixture (12), when in a closed position, receives the knife blade (13) between a first blade contact face (38) of a base member (G) and a second blade contact face (31) of a blade-locking mechanism (19) retained detachably on said base member (G); and wherein an operating attachment (14) for the translational displacement of the blade fixture (12) is associated with the base member (G) and/or the blade-locking mechanism (19), characterised in that the operating attachment (14) is retained on the base member (G) outside the blade-locking mechanism (19), under which circumstances internal faces (35a, 35b), which border the blade fixture (12) and are disposed in the receiving duct (A), hold the locking mechanism (19) in its closed position resting against the base member (G) or, when said locking mechanism (19) is displaced through the knife blade pass-through aperture (37) forwards and outwards into a blade-changing position, release said locking mechanism (19) for the purpose of opening it and removing the knife blade (13).
  2. Knife according to claim 1, characterised in that the operating attachment (14) is retained on the base member (G) on a side (39) that faces away from the knife pass-through aperture (37).
  3. Knife according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the locking mechanism (19) is disposed in a swivelling manner on the blade fixture (12).
  4. Knife according to claim 3, characterised in that the axis of swivelling (b) of the locking mechanism (19) is disposed transversely to the direction of displacement (x) of the blade fixture (12).
  5. Knife according to claim 3, characterised in that the axis of swivelling (b) of the locking mechanism (19) is disposed parallel to the direction of displacement (x) of the blade fixture (12).
  6. Knife according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locking mechanism (19) has a contact element (34) which protrudes in relation to its adjacent outer face (26) and whose outer face (23) interacts, when the knife (10) is in an out-of-use position and a cutting position, with an inner face (35b) of the receiving duct (A) in a manner that retains the locking mechanism (19) on the base member (G), while the outer face (23) is out of contact, in the blade-changing position, with the inner face (35b) of the receiving duct (A).
  7. Knife according to claim 6, characterised in that the contact element (34) is disposed at a front end (36) of the blade fixture (12).
  8. Knife according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locking mechanism (19) or the inner face (35b) of the receiving duct (A) has a lifting element (25) which, in the blade-changing position, interacts with a counter-face (28) associated with the inner wall (35b) of the receiving duct (A), or interacts with the locking mechanism (19), in a manner that spreads said locking mechanism (19) away from the base member (G).
  9. Knife according to claim 8, characterised in that the lifting element is formed by a pin, and the counter-face by a groove with a ramp-shaped groove bottom.
  10. Knife according to claim 8, characterised in that the lifting element is formed by an arm (25) connected to the locking mechanism (19), and the counter-face by a stop face (28) associated with the inner wall (35b) of the receiving duct (A).
  11. Knife according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a movement of the blade fixture (12) into the blade-changing position can be prevented by means of a securing element (16) which can be moved between a securing position and a releasing position.
  12. Knife according to claim 11, characterised in that the securing element (16) is associated with a tilting lever (17).
  13. Knife according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the blade fixture (12) has a spring element which loads the locking mechanism (19) in the direction of opening.
  14. Knife according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the locking mechanism (19) is formed by an elastic material, the springy restoring force of said material loading the locking mechanism (19) in the direction of opening.
