  • a contact state of the paper feed roller 26 and the separation pad 27a can be in good condition, the oscillation of the paper feed cassette 20 can be reduced, and the paper transportation can be stably performed. It is not necessarily required to provide the separation pad supporting member 27 of the paper-separating-and-feeding mechanism 29, and the separation pad 27a may be directly attached to the side wall 30, etc., of the paper feed cassette 20.
