Definitions
- the invention relates to the field of devices for producing foam by hand pumps, operating on the basis of foaming liquid. It relates more particularly to a device for producing foam intended to be handled by hand, as for example in the field of cosmetics.
- Some pumps equipped with a user-activated pumping mechanism by means of a lever, make it possible to expel liquid products with a velocity large enough to project these products.
- This type of pump allows, for example, to project housekeeping products on windows or laundry or, in the field of cosmetics, to spray a mist of solar oil on the skin.
- Some products, for example washing, are projected in a semi foaming form, but there is no lever pump producing foam of sufficient quality to be used in the field of cosmetics.
- the foam production apparatuses, used in the field of cosmetics indeed require the production of dense and voluminous foam to be handled by hand, forming for example a foam ball.
- the document US 4,603,812 discloses a portable foam producing device having a pump sucking a foaming liquid contained in a tank. A lever activates the pump to project the foaming liquid to the outside.
- the device includes an air inlet and a rigid net at the outlet of the device. If this device makes it possible to obtain a foam of sufficient quality for housekeeping, it does not make it possible to obtain a sufficiently light and dense foam to be used, for example, for cosmetic products.
- the document EP 0 718 041 A1 discloses a foaming nozzle assembly having rigid threads for providing a foam suitable for housekeeping products. In the same way as the previous document, the assembly does not make it possible to obtain a sufficiently light and dense foam to be used, for example, for cosmetic products.
- the document US 5,816,503 discloses a foam producing device whose structure is adapted to the settings for varying the structure of the foam, having a net and having sealing means to prevent leakage but does not propose a pump adapted to use this device.
- the present invention therefore aims to overcome one or more of the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a simple device for producing foam, associated with a lever pump, to produce a light and dense foam used in the field of cosmetics .
- This object is achieved by a foam generating device associated with a pump according to claim 1.
- Claims 2 to 11 show other features of the device.
- the figure 1 represents a manual lever pump (A, B, C) (C) equipped with a flexible and resilient curved net (1a) for filtering.
- the pump is portable by hand.
- the pump comprises a pump mechanism (A) fed by a reservoir (B) comprising a liquid, such as foaming liquid.
- the pump mechanism (A) is activated by a user by actuating a pump lever (C) to draw liquid into the tank (B) and expel the liquid, with a determined speed, through an expulsion head (2). pump.
- the lever pump (C) comprises a lever arm to increase the pumping effort and to increase the pumped liquid flow.
- the speed of the expelled liquid is, for example, increased compared to a vertical piston pump.
- the sectional detail of the figure 1 represents a first type of expulsion head (2a).
- An expulsion conduit (C2a) opens, for example, into an air chamber (72a) closed at an expulsion port (52a) by one or more filter threads.
- the chamber (72a) of air is filled with ambient air, via the net, and, according to one embodiment, produces an air supply intended to be mixed with the foaming liquid to produce foam.
- An expulsion head (2a) of circular or square section is for example associated with a chamber (72a) of cylindrical or parallelepiped air respectively.
- the chamber (72a) is for example delimited by thin side walls, an anterior wall, into which the evacuation duct (C2a) opens, arranged in front of the expulsion orifice (52a) closed by a net (1a , 1b) filtering.
- the flow direction (S) of the liquid is indicated by an arrow (S), the liquid being expelled from the reservoir to the filtering net, by the expulsion duct.
- the filter net has a flat shape in its rest position and comprises, for example, a central disk, fixed to thin and flexible bands extending to a peripheral boundary.
- the net is of rounded shape or in portion of sphere, and is made for example by a thin plastic mesh, as shown in FIG. figure 1 .
- a net (1b) plane is arranged in series with a thread (1a) rounded, oscillating both to the passage of the liquid.
- the filtering thread or nets are for example glued, on their periphery, on the edge of the expulsion orifice or in the expulsion line (C2b) of the expulsion head (2a, 2b) or a mouthpiece (3a, 3b).
- the expelled foaming product comprises an active agent, optionally combined with a foaming agent, diluted in water, and is thus mixed with air by the oscillating thread (s).
- the liquid, expelled by the pumping mechanism is associated with the air supplied by the air supply.
- the thread or nets are stretched and relax alternately, the passage of the foaming liquid.
- the deformation and the oscillation of the elastic thread thus make a stirring of the foaming liquid in the air to turn the foaming liquid into foam.
- the user activating the pump by means of its pumping lever, then uses the foam produced in the form of a dense and voluminous foam jet.
- the expulsion head (2b) comprises one or a plurality of air supply ducts (62b).
- the ambient air is, for example, sucked into an air supply duct (62b) opening at the level of the liquid expulsion duct (C2b) through an air inlet.
- the suction of the air is for example associated with the expulsion of liquid, the flow of liquid causing a flow of air.
- a convex net (1a) or plane (1b) is disposed at the orifice (52b) of expulsion, as shown in FIG. figure 2 , or in the expulsion conduit (C2b) downstream of the air inlet (E62b) and upstream of the expulsion port (52b), as shown in FIG. figure 3 .
- a tip (3a, 3b) equipped with a thread is mounted on an expulsion head of a pump.
- the tip is mounted tight or by screwing or gluing and arranged around the head (2c) expulsion.
- the tip is removable and adapts to existing pumps.
- the tip (3a and 3b respectively) comprises a conduit (C3a and C3b respectively) which extends the conduit (C2c) expulsion of the pump to an orifice (5b and 5c respectively) expulsion of the nozzle .
- One or more filtering threads are for example disposed at this expulsion orifice (53a, 53b) or upstream of this expulsion orifice (53a, 53b) in the duct (C3a, C3b) of the nozzle and downstream of the one or more air supply inlets (E63a, E63b, E62b).
- an air passage (63a, 63b) is arranged in the mouthpiece (3a, 3b) to provide an air supply, for lever pumps carrying out an expulsion of liquid, via their duct (C2c). expulsion, without additional air.
- the diameter of the duct (C3a) of the nozzle (3a) narrows towards its end (53a).
- the narrowing is for example progressive and the duct (C3a) of the nozzle has a frustoconical shape whose small base corresponds to the orifice (53a) expulsion of the foaming liquid.
- This narrowing has the advantage of increasing the speed of the fluid composed of foaming liquid and air. The increase of the fluid velocity is accompanied by an increase in the oscillations of the filter thread (1a, 1b).
- this guy nozzle (3a) whose conduit (C3a) is narrowed, allows adjustment of the expulsion rate of the fluid comprising air and foaming liquid.
- the filtering thread or nets advantageously disposed in an expulsion duct of an expulsion head or nozzle, upstream of the expulsion orifice, are protected by the rigid structure of the head (2b) expulsion or the tip (3b), against shocks with rigid objects that may damage the thread or nets.
- figure 9 represents, in a nonlimiting manner, the same end piece (3b) as on the figure 7 , but advanced by a distance (d) determined with respect to the head (2c) of expulsion.
- the tip When the tip is mounted on the expulsion head, in a fully depressed position, as shown in FIG. figure 7 the end (D1) of the expulsion head bears against a shoulder (D2) inside the end piece (3b). This fully depressed position then produces a determined broad foam jet.
- the shoulder (D2) inside the end piece (3b) is at a determined distance (d) from the end (D2) of the expulsion head (2c), to produce a thinner foam jet than in the fully depressed position, shown in figure 7 .
- the tip held on the expulsion head by clamping or screwing is movable in translation relative to the expulsion head, the adjustable position of the tip, more or less advanced relative to the expulsion head, determining an adjustment of the width of the foam jet.
- This adjustment of the position of the nozzle is applied with any type of tip (3a, 3b) mounted by screwing or tightening on the pump's expulsion head.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of devices for producing foam by hand pumps, operating on the basis of foaming liquid. It relates more particularly to a device for producing foam intended to be handled by hand, as for example in the field of cosmetics.
Some pumps, equipped with a user-activated pumping mechanism by means of a lever, make it possible to expel liquid products with a velocity large enough to project these products. This type of pump allows, for example, to project housekeeping products on windows or laundry or, in the field of cosmetics, to spray a mist of solar oil on the skin. Some products, for example washing, are projected in a semi foaming form, but there is no lever pump producing foam of sufficient quality to be used in the field of cosmetics. The foam production apparatuses, used in the field of cosmetics, indeed require the production of dense and voluminous foam to be handled by hand, forming for example a foam ball.

The filtering thread or nets are for example glued, on their periphery, on the edge of the expulsion orifice or in the expulsion line (C2b) of the expulsion head (2a, 2b) or a mouthpiece (3a, 3b).
The expelled foaming product comprises an active agent, optionally combined with a foaming agent, diluted in water, and is thus mixed with air by the oscillating thread (s). The liquid, expelled by the pumping mechanism, is associated with the air supplied by the air supply. The thread or nets are stretched and relax alternately, the passage of the foaming liquid. The deformation and the oscillation of the elastic thread thus make a stirring of the foaming liquid in the air to turn the foaming liquid into foam. The user, activating the pump by means of its pumping lever, then uses the foam produced in the form of a dense and voluminous foam jet.

The tip (3a and 3b respectively) comprises a conduit (C3a and C3b respectively) which extends the conduit (C2c) expulsion of the pump to an orifice (5b and 5c respectively) expulsion of the nozzle . One or more filtering threads are for example disposed at this expulsion orifice (53a, 53b) or upstream of this expulsion orifice (53a, 53b) in the duct (C3a, C3b) of the nozzle and downstream of the one or more air supply inlets (E63a, E63b, E62b).
In a nonlimiting manner, an air passage (63a, 63b) is arranged in the mouthpiece (3a, 3b) to provide an air supply, for lever pumps carrying out an expulsion of liquid, via their duct (C2c). expulsion, without additional air.
