The floor drain, e.g. for the escape of waste water into a waste pipe in a shower, has at least one primary inflow opening (15) together with at least one different secondary inflow opening (16).

Description

The present invention relates to a drainage device for the at least partial introduction into a floor of a room according to the preamble of claim 1.

As floor coverings in such drainage devices, for example, tiles, natural stones or plastic coverings, such as PVC coverings come into consideration. Drainage devices of the aforementioned type, for example, be integrated into the floor of a room that only a narrow, the primary inlet opening corresponding, gap between the tiles is visible, can flow through the example, the wastewater of a shower. The gap can surround a central tile arrangement, which can be rectangular, for example, long stretched. Furthermore, the gap may be surrounded on the outside by tiles.

The disadvantage here may be that water penetrates in the region of the central tile arrangement without being able to get from there into the drainage means. This accumulating under certain circumstances water can lead to damage or visual impairment of the central tile arrangement and odor nuisance.

From the DE 20 2005 019 964 U1 a drain device of the type mentioned is known. The drainage device described therein comprises a trough-shaped part designed as an elongate channel, in which a channel cover extending in the longitudinal direction of the channel is provided. Between the channel cover and the side walls of the channel, a circumferential gap is provided, which corresponds to a first inlet opening. On one of the side walls is a square Inspection opening provided, which also has a central cover. Between the peripheral side walls of the inspection opening and the cover, a circumferential gap is also provided, which corresponds to a second inlet opening.

The US 2,777,532 shows a drain device, in which an inlet grate is provided with a plurality of inlet openings. The inlet grate has a circular circumference. Between the outer upper boundary of the drainage device and the inlet grate, a circumferential gap is provided, through which water can also run into the drainage device.

The problem underlying the present invention is to provide a drain device of the type mentioned, which is constructed more effectively.

This is inventively achieved by a drain device of the type mentioned above with the characterizing features of claim 1. The subclaims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.

According to claim 1 it is provided that the side walls are at least partially surrounded by the primary inlet opening and the at least one secondary inlet opening is formed in the trough-shaped part. By the secondary inlet opening wastewater can be removed, which is undesirable penetrated into the primary inlet opening adjacent tile arrangements.

There is the possibility that the drainage device comprises at least one second bearing surface for a floor covering, wherein the at least one primary inlet opening at least partially surrounds the at least one second bearing surface. It can be provided that the at least one secondary inlet opening on or is arranged in the region of the at least one second bearing surface. Furthermore, it can be provided that the at least one primary drain opening at least partially surrounds the at least one secondary inlet opening. For example, a central tile arrangement can thus be surrounded by the primary inlet opening. Wastewater which has penetrated in the region of the central tile arrangement can be removed from the secondary inlet opening, so that the disadvantages known from the prior art are avoided.

There is also the possibility that the bottom of the trough-shaped part form the at least one second bearing surface. The trough-shaped part may have a U-shaped cross section. Preferably, the at least one secondary inlet opening may be formed in at least one of the side walls of the trough-shaped part. In the trough-shaped part can thus be provided a central tile arrangement, which may be surrounded on the outside by the side walls of the trough-shaped part. If sewage enters the gap between the side walls and the tiles, this can escape through the at least one secondary inlet opening from the trough-shaped part, so that no water can accumulate in this.

For example, the at least one secondary inlet opening can open into the at least one primary inlet opening. From this, the wastewater can then get into the drainage.

There is also the possibility that the drainage device comprises a channel into which opens the at least one primary inlet opening, wherein the wastewater from the channel can get into the drainage means. In this case, the trough-shaped part in the channel, in particular height-adjustable, can be arranged. This allows the Central tile arrangement to be adjusted in height to the surrounding the primary inlet opening tiles.

Out Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 it can be seen that the illustrated drain device comprises drainage means with a drain pot 1, which is connected to a drain pipe 2. In the drain pot 1, a odor trap unit 3 is arranged. Above the drain pot 1, a channel 4 is provided, can get out of the waste water in the drain pot 1. In this case, the drain pot 1 and the channel 4 may be a one-piece component or may be connected to each other, so that they form an assembly unit.

The channel 4 is surrounded by side walls 5, which are bent at its upper end to the outside and pass into a flange 6.

Der Flansch 6 dient als erste Auflagefläche für Fliesen 7 (siehe dazu Fig. 5).The flange 6 serves as the first bearing surface for tiles 7 (see Fig. 5 ).

The drain device further comprises a trough-shaped part 8, which has a substantially U-shaped cross-section (see Fig. 3 ). The trough-shaped part comprises a bottom 9 and this surrounding side walls 10. The bottom 9 can serve as a second support surface for tiles 11 (see Fig. 4 to Fig. 6 ).

At the bottom of the trough-shaped part 8, a downwardly open U-profile 12 is attached (see Fig. 3 ). In the groove 4 upwardly extending threaded bolts 13 are mounted on the existing plastic adjusting nuts 14 are screwed with eight-way. In this case, the outer diameter of the eight-pitch corresponds to the inner cross-section of the U-profile 12, so that 12 results in an anti-rotation for the adjusting nut 14 by the engagement of the head of the adjusting nut 14 in the downwardly open U-profile. On the top of the adjusting nuts 14, the downwardly open U-profile 12 is located. By rotation of the adjusting nuts 14 on the threaded bolt 13 thus the height of the U-profile 12 and the trough-shaped part 8 can be changed.

A primary inlet opening 15 of the drainage device is thus formed between the side walls 5 of the channel 4 and the trough-shaped part 8 or the downwardly open U-profile 12 (see Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 ). After at least partial mounting of the drainage device in the bottom of a room and applying tiles 7, 11 on the support surfaces corresponds to this primary inlet opening 15 the circumferential gap between the outer, resting on the flange 6 tiles 7 and the inner, on the bottom 9 of the trough-shaped part 8 resting tiles 11 (see Fig. 4 to Fig. 6 ).

In addition to the primary inlet opening 15, the drainage device comprises a plurality of secondary inlet openings 16. These are provided as gap-like openings on the undersides of the side walls 10 of the trough-shaped part 8. The secondary inlet openings 16 connect the interior of the trough-shaped part 8 with the channel 4 or the primary inlet opening 15. Thus, wastewater which has penetrated, for example, into the intermediate space between a side wall 10 of the trough-shaped part 8 and a tile 11 resting on the floor 9, pass through the secondary inlet opening 16 out of the trough-shaped part 8 through the channel 4 into the drain pot 1.

According to the invention, the secondary inlet openings may also be arranged at any other locations of the trough-shaped part, such as in the bottom 9 or in any height of the side walls 10th
