Further, since the lower surface of the decoration is planar, an adhesive easily flows down when the decoration is attached onto the artificial nail, and it is difficult to precisely place the decoration at the desired location.

  • the pad printing method forms the printed layer 610 by moving an ink tank placed on a standby part to a printing groove so that ink can be inserted into the printing groove, moving the ink tank back to the standby part while wiping the upper surface of a cliche using a doctor blade so that the ink remains only in the printing groove, moving a printing pad down so as to pick up the ink in the printing groove, pressing the printing pad against the printing groove, and moving and pressing the printing pad against the upper surface of the decoration base so that the ink can be painted on the upper surface of the decoration base placed on a decoration support.
  • the printed layer 610 enhances the decorative effect since it can have a variety of patterns. Further, small volume production and mass production of decorations 600 having the same pattern are both possible.
