Definitions
- the present invention relates to a brake control system for a vehicle such as an anti-lock brake system.
- Brake control systems such as antilock braking systems
- anti-lock braking systems are usually dual-circuit systems, wherein a separate pump element is provided in each brake circuit.
- the pump elements are used in particular for the return of brake fluid during and after a control intervention. Since two pump elements are provided with corresponding fastening and drive elements for each brake circuit, the necessary effort and space required is relatively large. Since brake control systems in recent times
- the brake control system according to the invention for a vehicle with at least two brake circuits according to the features of claim 1 has the advantage that it can be provided very inexpensively. Furthermore, the necessary space for the inventive
- Brake control system compared to the prior art significantly reduced.
- the weight of the brake control system can also be reduced according to the invention.
- the pump element is connected to a suction line and a pressure line, wherein the suction line is connected to all the outlet valves of the first and second brake circuit.
- the pressure line of the single pump element is connected to exactly one of the brake circuits.
- the effort for the brake control system according to the invention can be further reduced.
- no additional valves are required here.
- Main cylinder element of the brake control system connected.
- the single pressure line is connected to a rod circle of the R-cylinder element of the brake control system.
- the brake control system preferably comprises an X-brake circuit split or an II-brake circuit split.
- the brake control system further comprises a sensor device for determining a fluid volume, which is conveyed back during a control engagement of the brake control system by the pump element. Since according to the invention only one pump element is provided, the sensor device can be constructed very simply and compactly and arranged, for example, on the pump element or the suction or pressure line of the pump element.
- the master cylinder element comprises a valve element in order to allow fluid compensation between the first and the second brake circuit after a successful control intervention.
- the brake control system is preferably an anti-lock brake system, as used in particular in motor vehicles.
- the brake control system according to the invention the cost of equipment with such systems can be further reduced, so that in particular for middle class and small cars standard equipment Bremsregge1System is possible.
- Figure 1 is a schematic view of a
- Brake control system according to a first embodiment of the present invention and Figure 2 is a schematic view of a
- the brake control system 1 of the first embodiment comprises a first brake circuit 8 and a second brake circuit 9.
- the brake control system 1 has an X-brake circuit split, wherein in the first brake circuit 8, the rear left wheel LR and the right front wheel brake RF is assigned to the second brake circuit the left front wheel brake LF and the right rear wheel brake RR is assigned.
- a brake pedal 5 is connected in known manner with a master cylinder element 6 with expansion tank.
- the brake circuits are divided in such a way that the first brake circuit 8 is the floating circuit and the second brake circuit 9 is the push rod circuit.
- Each of the wheel brakes LR, RF, LF and RR is respectively associated with an intake valve EVI, EV2, EV3 and EV4 and an exhaust valve AV1, AV2, AV3 and AV4, respectively.
- the intake valves and exhaust valves are in this embodiment
- Solenoid valves As can be seen from FIG. 1, in the first brake circuit 8, the outlet valves AV1 and AV2 are connected to a suction line 4 of a pump element 2 via a first intake line 3a.
- the exhaust valves AV3 and AV4 of the second brake circuit 9 are connected to the suction pipe 4 via a second suction pipe 3b.
- FIG. 1 there is only one pump element 2 for the entire brake control system 1 intended.
- the pump element 2 is connected at its pressure side with a single pressure line 7, which is connected to the first brake circuit 8.
- the pressure line 7 opens into a line region upstream of the inlet valves EVI and EV2 of the first brake circuit 8.
- the brake control system 1 is in accordance with the first one
- Embodiment of the invention very simple. In the single pressure line 7 of the pump element 2 no valve or shut-off elements are necessary.
- the pump element 2 ensures a return conveyance of hydraulic fluid from all the exhaust valves.
- a depressurization function can also be performed for only one of the wheel brakes or a plurality of wheel brakes in any combination, depending on the required control intervention.
- the control comfort of the ABS system is not restricted.
- a normal brake control can be performed.
- the structure of the brake control system 1 according to the invention is much simpler and less expensive.
- Brake circuit 9 is derived, a corresponding fluid reserve for the second brake circuit 9 must be present. For the design of the brake system, this means that after several regulations of the wheel brakes LF and RR in the first Brake circuit 8 has to be added by the pump element 2 funded fluid volume. After completion of the braking operation, the additional hydraulic fluid delivered into the first brake circuit 8 is returned to the fluid reservoir of the master cylinder element via a piston valve. In this case, a sensor for detecting the fluid volume delivered by the pump element 2 can be provided as safety device.
- a brake control system 1 can thus be provided which has a very low number of components and can be produced very inexpensively.
- the weight for the brake control system can be reduced by the minimum number of components.
- a brake control system 1 according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. Identical or functionally identical parts are described with the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment.
- the second embodiment corresponds essentially to the first embodiment, wherein, in contrast to the first embodiment, a pressure line 7, which emanates from the single pump element 2, opens into the second brake circuit 9.
- the pump element 2 is connected to the push rod circuit of the brake control system.
- the second embodiment corresponds to the first embodiment, so that reference can be made to the description given there.
