Description

The invention relates to a connection contact for electrical conductors in an insulating housing arranged in individual chambers electrical contacts.

Such a termination contact is needed especially for electrical conductors that are designed as stranded conductors.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

From the DE 101 45 324 C1 an electrical connection element for contacting stranded conductors is known, whose terminal end has a sawtooth-like structure, on which a widened by means of a wedge, resilient sleeve can be pushed.

US-A-3,801,772 shows a connection element according to the preamble of claim 1.

Aufgabenstellungtask

The invention has for its object to form a simple terminal contact, in which the connection of different types of electrical conductors with few and simple components without tools, with the largest possible area is detected with respect to the wire cross-sections to be contacted.

This object is achieved in that the terminal contact is formed from a busbar, with a barb-shaped contacting area opposite to the plug-in direction, surrounded by a clamping sleeve which is connected in axial alignment with a carriage element, the a through hole for insertion of an electrical conductor, arranged in each case in a single chamber of the plug housing, wherein the carriage member is pushed over the contacting region of the bus bar and again peelable, so that acting on a inserted between the contacting region and the clamping sleeve electrical conductor acts a fixing force.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in claims 2-7.

The advantages achieved by the invention are in particular that with this one for single or stranded electrical conductor tool-free connection system is available, in which the conductors are fixed by means of a resilient sleeve on the connection region of electrical contacts. For this purpose, a number of chambers are arranged in the connector housing, in each of which a clamping device is provided for a stranded conductor. The clamping device is formed as a connection device for electrical conductors of an axially displaceable slide element, which is pushed together with a clamping sleeve on the connection region of an electrical contact element, which here has a barb-like shape. It is a prerequisite for stranded conductors in particular that their supply into a contacting area is powerless in order to prevent twisting or bending of individual wires as far as possible until an abutment point is reached.
In this case, during assembly, the stripped part of a stranded conductor is guided into a bore passing through the carriage element, including a clamping sleeve fixed to the carriage.
Then, the carriage member is axially displaced in the insertion direction with the stranded conductor into the housing.
It is advantageous that appropriate structural measures such as a sliding in a groove on friction guide wedge in the chamber and the carriage element prevents unintentional sliding of a carriage element in the direction of the contact element.

With increasing end position of the carriage element, the resiliently formed clamping sleeve is pushed over the barb-shaped contacting or connection region with the electrical conductor.
The advantageously provided with a meandering, continuous longitudinal slot clamping sleeve ensures an always the number and size of different types of electrical conductors adapted, constricting force on the connection area.
With the use of a narrow, flat object, z. As well as a screwdriver, in a slant provided on the outside of each chamber, which extends into a recess in the carriage element, each slide member can be levered out again from the respective chamber, whereby the electrical conductor is also released again.
The insulating body can be designed by means of appropriately trained electrical contacts as a monobloc for plug connector or in segmental technology for terminal blocks.
Furthermore, it is provided in a monoblock to connect the easily manufactured busbar with a socket or a male connector, so that with such a Kontaktierungs- or connection area a connector is to be formed.

In the Fig. 1 is shown in a sectional view of an insulating body 1, in which a displaceable slide element 2 is arranged with a clamping sleeve 3 connected thereto in a chamber 11.
Furthermore, a bus bar 4 is provided in the insulating body 1, the contacting region 41 has the shape of a barb.
In this case, the busbar 4 is arranged in the insulating body 1, that the displaceable clamping sleeve 3 always includes the contacting region 41. Wherein, in the open mounting state in which the carriage 2 protrudes maximally from the insulating housing 1, the barbed end 42 approximately in the same direction with the funnel-shaped widening 33, so that a maximum slot opening for powerless threading a guided through the through hole 21 of the carriage member stranded conductor arises. While the individual strands are increasingly pressed against the wall of the clamping sleeve 3 and in which a clamping shoulder forming barbs end 42 are fixed when pressing the carriage element in the insulating.
This also applies to the use of a single-wire electrical conductor.

The carriage element 2 is in principle shaped as a rectangular body, with a through-bore 21 which has a funnel exit 22 narrowing inwards.
For levering a slid in the insulating housing 1 slide element 2, z. B. with a screwdriver, in the upper region of the insulating housing, a slope 12 and to match a wedge-shaped recess 24 is provided in the carriage.
Below the wedge-shaped recess, a slide guide is provided, which is formed from an elongated wedge 25 on the carriage and a guide groove 14 in the insulating housing, wherein the guide groove in the upper region of the insulating housing ends with a projection 13 against which abuts the projecting wedge end 26 of the carriage member and the protruding and ultimately falling out of the carriage from the insulating prevented. The clamping sleeve 3 is held with the outwardly bent at right angles retaining ring 32 in a retaining groove 23, in such a way that the Center of the funnel exit approximately centrally to the barb-shaped contacting region 41 arranged therebelow to the right wall of the clamping sleeve 3.

The Fig. 2 shows a perspective, sectional view of the already in section from the Fig. 1 shown insulating housing 1 with the carriage element 2, the clamping sleeve 3 and the busbar. 4
On the inner rear wall is here still the aforementioned guide groove 14 can be seen, in which the carriage guide wedge 25 is guided.

The clamping sleeve 3 in the Fig. 3 is made as a rectangular, resilient clamping sleeve and has a meandering slot 31 along a sleeve wall, so that when an expansion by inserted into the slot between the barbed end 42 and the sleeve wall different kind of electrical conductor when lowering the carriage member in the chamber of the insulator, a spring effect is ensured.
In this case, the one end side is provided with an outwardly bent multiple interrupted by separating slots 34 retaining edge 32, while the opposite side has a funnel-shaped widening 33.

A variant of the clamping sleeve 3 is in the Fig. 4 can be seen, in which the slot 31 'in the central region of the clamping sleeve has a nearly diagonal course.

The bus bar 4 shown in the two figures is in each case equipped with a printed circuit board connection end 43 and therefore also guided in an angled form through the insulating housing 1. Whereby these housings are additionally stackable.
However, it is also provided to form the terminal end as a pin or socket contact, or to connect with such, so that a pluggable configuration is conceivable.
