Definitions

  • the invention relates to an open gusseted bag according to the preamble of claim 1 and claim 10.
  • Fillable gusseted bags of the generic type are usually made of a tubular film. In the course of confectioning one end of a hose section is closed and it will be the angularly aligned corner welds produced that can be designed as continuous or as a section welds. The corner welds ensure that the gusseted bags form cuboid after the filling process to improve the stackability.
  • the closure of a bag is known in which at least one corner of the bag is provided with welds which is interrupted so that the air can flow through the unwelded gaps. At least one bag wall is provided with vents through which the air can then escape to the outside.
  • the closure seam is angled at a corner and parallel to this angled weld another interrupted weld is provided. Between these two welds vents are provided so that the air can escape.
  • a multi-chamber bag is known, which is provided on one side with two parallel and spaced welds. Between these two welds two openings are provided for each chamber, which are open to the outside. Through these openings, air is pressed from the outside into the packing pad in order to close a labyrinth by the resulting internal pressure, so that air-filled packing bags are formed as shipping protection.
  • EP (0) 243 750 A which discloses the features of the preamble of claims 1 and 10, is a gusseted plastic suture bag with vents (US Pat. FIG. 4 ), in which the corner welds forming welds end at a distance from the outer edges of the flattened bag. To form labyrinth seals, parallel to the corner welds and at a small distance therefrom extend obliquely inwardly from the outer edges. These welds can have different lengths. Further, vents are provided in the gusset formed by the corner welds.
  • the invention is based on the issue to modify the Ecksch spanahtan extract an open gusseted bag of the type described in more detail so that the penetration of foreign bodies, especially moisture is more effectively prevented.
  • the Sch doneanhtan Aunt is on the one hand designed so that the effect of Ecksch span dealtte fully maintained, but that at the same time the air from the interior of the gusseted bag can escape.
  • the vent can be designed and provided at such a location that even when stored outdoors no water or moisture can penetrate into the interior of the Scitenfalen bag or can penetrate in an amount to be represented.
  • the weld arrangement is designed so that the penetration of water or moisture into the interior of the gusseted bag is made even more difficult.
  • each weld assembly preferably has a parallel and at a distance from the longitudinal edge of the gusseted bag extending weld to which an angle, preferably below 30 ° to 60 °, in particular preferably extends below 45 ° to the longitudinal edge weld, which ends at a distance from the longitudinal edge of the gusseted sack and form a forming seam.
  • the preferably at 45 ° extending weld is facing away from the filling opening of the gusseted bag, or it is the lower Sch Strukturnabt. Since it ends at a distance from the longitudinal edge of the gusseted bag, the air can flow through this interrupted area.
  • the at least one venting channel of each weld seam assembly opens into the venting opening.
  • the exiting air flow can flow outward without hindrance.
  • the at least one venting channel is designed in a labyrinth-like manner.
  • Another advantage of this design of the corner weld is that the product entraining residual air exiting from the gusseted bag is deflected several times.
  • the ventilation openings are provided in the material layers delimiting the lateral folds. As a result, these vents are in the vertical walls of the gusseted bag when the gusseted bags are stacked flat. As a result, the penetration of water into the interior of the gusseted bag is effectively prevented.
  • vent openings introduced into the outer material layers are subsequently closed again, for example in the case of plastic bags by an additional medium such as, for example, plastic bags.
  • additional medium such as, for example, plastic bags.
  • vent openings are formed as punched holes or as slots. If the vent openings are slits, these, based on the unfilled state of the gusseted sack, preferably run parallel and at a distance from the longitudinal edges of the gusseted sack. If the venting recesses introduced in the outer layers of material are reclosed, which is particularly advantageous in order to prevent the ingress of moisture, this can be done e.g. also done by welding. In this case, it may be expedient to introduce a cooling device into the lateral folds during the visual-whitening operation in order not to over-weld the inwardly directed slots or the side-fold layers.
  • vent opening associated with a weld arrangement can, according to an alternative, also be arranged in the head-side closing seam. It is then a certain area of the seal excluded from the weld.
  • the vent opening may be provided at a distance from the associated longitudinal edge or adjacent to the longitudinal edge of the gusseted bag.
  • the object is achieved according to a second proposal by a weld assembly according to the features of the characterizing part of claim 10.
  • the welds are at their free ends at a distance from the side gusset longitudinal edge.
  • the vent opening is formed in a preferred embodiment by an interruption of the head-side weld.
  • the Seh shorenahtanix should be independent of the particular design a weld joint of at least two welds.
  • FIGS. 1 to 10 Sack shown is a gusseted bag.
  • gusseted bag 1 is shown in the unfilled, laid flat state. After filling, the filling opening is closed by a weld 2, which is also referred to as a top seam.
  • the gusseted bag 1 is provided with vents 3, which may be formed from punched holes or through slots. In the execution of the FIG. 1 the vents are formed by punched holes, while in the designs according to the FIGS. 2 and 3 the subsequently attached weld is interrupted.
  • vent 3 at a distance to the associated longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag. In the execution of the FIG. 3 the vent 3 is adjacent to the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag.
  • Each weld arrangement according to the FIGS. 1 to 3 has a weld 5, which is preferably parallel and spaced from the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag. At this weld 5 is followed by another weld 6, which extends at an angle of 45 ° to the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag 1 here. This weld 6 is facing away from the upper edge of the gusseted bag 1.
  • the weld seam arrangement has two further weld seams 7, 8 which likewise run at an angle of preferably 45 ° to the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted sack 1 and are each arranged at a distance from one another.
  • the FIG. 1 shows that the welds 6 and 8 end at a distance from the longitudinal edge 4, and that moreover overlap the free ends, so that the exiting air flow is diverted twice before it passes through the vent opening 3 to the outside. This results in the separation of the entrained by the air product that settles in the illustrated deposition levels 15. This design ensures that the air can escape from the gusseted bag interior, but that the entry of water or moisture is effectively prevented.
  • the configuration of the weld assembly according to the FIG. 2 corresponds to the FIG. 1
  • the vent is formed by the interruption of the weld 2, or in that the film layers are unweldable in this area, for example by coating with a release varnish.
  • the weld assembly is still equipped with another weld 9, which runs parallel and at a distance from the weld 6 and therefore preferably at an angle of 45 ° to the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag 1.
  • the weld 9 ends in the illustrated embodiment at a distance from the longitudinal edge. 4
  • FIG. 3 shows clearly that the outgoing air flow is redirected here several times, so that the penetration of water or moisture is effectively prevented. It is advantageous if the vent 3 adjoins the longitudinal edge 4 of the gusseted bag 1. However, it is also possible that the vent opening 3 is at a distance from the longitudinal edge 4. In addition, at least one or more hole-like vents 3 according to the FIG. 1 be provided in the gusseted bag walls, which may be prepared for example by needling.
  • the welds 5 to 10 forming the weld seam arrangement can be seen by way of example. What is essential is that the exiting airflow is diverted multiple times, and that the welds overlap one another, effectively preventing the ingress of moisture or water into the gusseted sack interior.
  • FIG. 4 shows purely schematically the introduction of the vent opening 3 in the side folds 11 limiting layers of material.
  • plate-shaped abutments 12 are introduced into the lateral folds 11.
  • the vent holes 3 are then made by punch 13, needles 14, knives and the like.
  • the punches 13 can be designed as punching tools or heated, so that melting of the contacting areas occurs.
  • vents are also in the gussets 11 limiting outer layers of material in the broad sides and the upper and lower layers of material.
  • vents of the gussets 11 limiting outer layers of material are welded by means of welding dies 14. These are in the gussets 11, z. B. cooling plates as abutment 12 introduced, since this prevents the vents are also welded in the inner layers of material.
  • FIG. 6 shows the not yet filled gusseted bag 1 in cross section. It can be seen therefrom that only the inner layers of material bounding the side folds 11 are provided with the vent openings 3, while the vent openings of the outer folds 11 delimiting the side folds 11 are closed by additional media such as label, adhesive, lacquer 16 or the like. It follows from the FIG. 6 in that, after filling the gusseted sack 1, the gussets 11 are pulled out so that the inner layers of material delimiting the gussets 11 are perpendicular when the gusseted sack is stacked flat. As a result, the penetration of water or moisture is much more difficult.
  • FIG. 7 shows a gusseted bag 1 in a further embodiment not according to the invention.
  • the filling opening opposite the end of the gusseted bag 1 is closed by a bottom seam 17.
  • the figure shows that in all four corners of the gusseted bag is provided with corner welds. These corner welds consist of the welds 5 and 6, which form a shaped weld and are interrupted, so that an air outlet opening is formed.
  • the vents 3 are provided in the lower, the bottom seam 17 associated area.
  • 1 welds 18 are provided in parallel and at a distance from the side edges 4 of the gusseted bag, forming a further venting channel through which the air flows from the side facing the head side weld 3 to the air outlet openings 3.
  • This embodiment has the advantage that in the area of the head-side weld 3, the gusseted bag 1 is completely closed.
  • FIG. 8 shows the upper embodiment of another example of a gusseted bag 1.
  • the left corner weld from the two welds 5, 6 are formed, which form a forming seam and at a distance to the side edge 4 and the head-side weld 3 ends.
  • the weld 6 ends before the side edge 4.
  • Parallel and at a distance from the head-side weld 3 is another weld seam 19 is provided, so that the air flowing out of the gusseted sack 1 can flow through the opening defined by the weld seam 6 through a channel formed by the weld seams 3 and 19 to the outflow opening 3.
  • FIG. 9 shows a further design example, in which the air can emerge after attaching the head-side weld 2 after the filling process. This first flows through the gap between the end of the weld 6 and the side edge 4 in the region which is formed from the gusset and the outer wall of the gusseted bag, then formed by the gap of the welds 5 and the inner edge of the gusset 11 is. Thereafter, it exits through the vent opening 3.
  • This air duct shows in particular the FIG. 10
  • the gusseted bag 1 can also be closed at the opposite end of the weld 2 with corner welds and by a weld, not shown. However, it is also possible for the gusseted sack 1 to have a bottom formed by folding at the side opposite the weld seam 2.
  • the fixation of the soil can be done by welding or by gluing.
  • the weld seam arrangement can also be seen as a welded seam composite, since at least two weld seams 5, 6 to 10 must be functionally laid in such a way that a venting channel is formed.
  • the welds 5 to 10 can be made one by one. However, it is possible that all welds are made 5 to 10 with a tool.
