Normally, the engine is started by means of the starter motor 15. When a battery unit (not shown) for providing electricity to the starter motor 15 is fully discharged, or when the starter motor 15 malfunctions, the pull-start unit 12 can be used to start the engine.

Because the connecting passage 52 is directly connected with the outer slot 34, the connection from the starter (i.e., pull-start unit 3) to the gearbox 41 can be reduced and thus an excessive heating of the lubricant be avoided.

Claims (7)
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette comportant :une unité de carter-moteur (2) comportant un carter-moteur et un vilebrequin (23) pivotant à l'intérieur dudit carter-moteur, ledit vilebrequin (23) étant formé avec un passage de lubrifiant (231) ;une unité de boîte d'engrenages (4) comportant une boîte d'engrenages (41) reliée de manière fixe audit carter-moteur, et un arbre de commande (42) pivotant à l'intérieur de la boîte d'engrenages (41) et possédant un passage de lubrifiant (421):une unité de démarrage à tirette (3), comportant une paroi de base annulaire (31) espacée à l'écart dudit carter-moteur et possédant une périphérie interne, et une paroi périphérique (33) s'étendant axialement à partir de ladite périphérie interne de ladite paroi de base annulaire (31), et isolée de manière fixe sur une extrémité dudit vilebrequin (23), ladite paroi périphérique (33) possédant une surface de paroi interne, une surface de paroi externe, une fente annulaire interne (331) formée dans ladite surface de paroi interne, un trou de passage (332) formé dans ladite surface de paroi externe et communiquant avec ladite fente annulaire interne (331), et deux brides annulaires (333) s'étendant radialement et vers l'extérieur à partir de ladite surface de paroi externe et jouxtant ledit trou de passage (332) afin de définir une fente annulaire externe (34) entre lesdites brides (333) ; etune unité de lubrification (5) comportant un passage d'entrée (51) formé dans ledit carter-moteur, et communiquant avec ladite fente extérieure (34) dans ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3), et un passage de liaison (52) formé dans ledit carter-moteur et ladite boîte d'engrenage (41) ;caractérisé en ce quele passage de liaison (52) possède deux extrémités communiquant avec respectivement ladite fente extérieure (34) dans ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3) et ledit passage de lubrifiant (421) dans ledit arbre (42).
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit carter-moteur comporte un corps de carter-moteur (21) et un couvercle de carter-moteur (22) reliée de manière fixe audit corps de carter-moteur (21) et formé avec un trou axial (220), à l'intérieur duquel ladite paroi périphérique (33) de ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3) est disposée de manière rotative.
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par ailleurs en ce que ledit passage d'entrée (51) de ladite unité de lubrification (5) est formé dans ledit couvercle de carter-mateur (22).
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par ailleurs en ce que ledit passage de liaison (52) de ladite unité de lubrification (5) est formé dans ledit corps de carter-moteur (21), ledit couvercle de carter-moteur (22) et ladite boite d'engrenages (41).
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par ailleurs par deux petites bagues d'étanchéité (335), dont chacune est disposée entre ledit corps de carter-moteur (21) et l'une correspondante desdites brides (333) de ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3) afin d'établir un joint imperméable aux liquides entre elles.
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 5, caractérisé par ailleurs par une grande bague d'étanchéité (35) disposée entre ladite paroi périphérique (33) de ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3) et dudit corps de carter-moteur (21) et entre ladite paroi de base (31) de ladite unité de démarrage à tirette (3) et lesdites petites bagues d'étanchéité (335) afin de fournir une double étanchéité entre ladite paroi périphérique (33) et ledit corps de carter-moteur (21).
- Moteur à démarrage à tirette selon la revendication 2, caractérisé par ailleurs par un palier (36) disposé entre ledit vilebrequin (23) et ledit couvercle de carter-moteur (22) afin de faciliter la rotation dudit vilebrequin (23) à l'intérieur dudit carter-moteur.
