Definitions
- the invention relates to a bottle cell for transporting swing top bottles according to the preamble of claim 1.
- bottle cells are known from the prior art.
- the DE 9205044 U a bottle cell for swing top bottles.
- the DE 1909532 U and the DE 1878324 U show bottle cells for cleaning machines that have various holes or recesses in the head area to get into the bottle cells or bottles with cleaning agents.
- These bottle cells have that Disadvantage that swing top bottles can be treated, the geometry being designed so that swing closures, which are in the insertion direction in front of the bottle when the bottle is inserted into the bottle cell, remain there and are even centered, so that the clapper of the swing top is in front the bottle opening and cleaning by entering a cleaning medium is not possible.
- the GB 159.821 A describes a bottle transport device with containers for receiving bottles according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Die DE 725 836 C. describes a wire basket for bottle washers.
- the DE 480 016 C. describes a resilient holding device for bottles on bottle cleaning machines.
- the GB 355,584 A describes a bottle receptacle for use in cleaning bottles.
- the advantage of the increased freedom of movement of the clip lock comes into play particularly when the central area with a larger diameter has a round cross section.
- webs are attached to the inner wall of the cell, against which the bottle at least partially abuts when it is pushed into the cell.
- the webs mean, among other things, that the bottle to be cleaned does not lie on the full surface when it is pushed into the bottle cell, but only receives selective support.
- the webs run out in the middle area in the direction of the head area towards the inner wall of the bottle cell, i.e. the webs become lower and lower in the direction of the head region of the bottle cell, so that the internal diameter of the bottle cell is increased as a result.
- the reduction of the webs is designed in such a way that they pass into the bottle inner wall in an upper central area and disappear.
- the swing lock has a correspondingly larger pendulum space.
- the enlargement of the inner cell diameter in the central region of the bottle cell is also not possible according to the invention in that, with the wall thickness of the bottle cell remaining essentially the same, the distance between the inner wall of the bottle cell and the opposite side in the central region increases towards the head region. In this case, the webs do not need to run into the bottle cell wall.
- the top area of the bottle cell tapers to a centering area in which the bottle mouth is centered in the bottle cell when the bottle is fully inserted.
- the centering area is preferably a circular shoulder on which the mouth of the bottle can rest, wherein it has a passage through which cleaning agents can be introduced into the bottle.
- the shoulder of the centering area preferably has a width which corresponds to the height of the part of the clapper which projects out of it when the bottle is closed.
- the top area of the bottle cell preferably tapers to the centering area.
- the taper is designed such that the tapering outer wall of the bottle cell and the inner wall of the bottle cell have an angle of 120 ° to 170 °, preferably 140 ° to 160 °.
- a further preferred development of the invention consists in that the tapering inner wall of the bottle cell in the head area has an angle of 105 ° to 135 °, preferably from 115 ° to 125 °, more preferably from 120 ° to the inner wall of the bottle cell. This configuration has the advantage that the clapper is retained when the bottle is pushed into the bottle cell. If the angle were even more obtuse, a centering effect would result which would guide the clapper towards the head area.
- this angle ensures that the clapper can slide quickly towards the inside of the bottle cell in the middle area when the bottle moves backwards. This has the advantage that the overall length of the bottle cell can be reduced.
- Figure 1 shows a bottle cell 1 according to the invention as it is used in bottle cleaning machines for passing the bottles through the machine.
- the bottle cell 1 has along its longitudinal axis A a bottom area 3, a middle area 4 and a head area 5.
- the bottom region 3 has an opening on its lower side through which the swing top bottle 2 is inserted into the bottle cell 1.
- the central area 4 of the bottle cell 1 is divided into a lower central area 4b and an upper central area 4a. In this central area 4, the swing top bottle 2 is guided in the direction of the head area 5.
- the head region 5 has a centering region 6, in which the bottle mouth 15 is centered.
- the head region 5 of the bottle cell 1 tapers towards the centering region 6.
- This tapering has the result that an angle 9 is formed between the central region 4 and the outside of the head region 5, which angle is less than 180 °, preferably between 120 and 160 ° is.
- the tapering of the head region 5 of the bottle cell 1 on the outside is not the same as that on the inside.
- There is therefore an angle 17 between the inner wall 11 in the central region 4 of the bottle cell 1 and the inner side of the head region 5 from 105 ° to 135 °, preferably from 115 ° to 125 °, more preferably from 120 °.
- the isometric view of the bottle cell 1 in Fig. 2 the inner area of the bottle cells 1 in the bottom area 3 can be viewed.
- the inside of the bottle cell 1 has webs 10 attached to the inner wall 11, which serve as support surfaces for the clip-top bottles 2 when inserted into the bottle cell 1 and when the bottle cell 1 is transported through the cleaning machine.
- the bottom area 3 of the bottle cell 1 has a non-circular cross section. This closed U-shape has the advantage that the swing top bottle 2 is better centered when it is introduced into the bottle cell 1.
- the head region 5 has struts 12 which enable the centering region 6 to be fastened to the bottle cell 1.
- Fig. 3 shows a top view of the head region 5 of the bottle cell 1, with a swing top bottle 2 already being inserted into the bottle cell 1.
- the centering area 6 has a circular shape, with a division into two semicircles.
- a semicircle of the centering area 6 is held by six struts 12, three struts each being at a 45 ° angle to one another and connected to both the bottle cell 1 and the centering area 6. In this way, two strut groups are connected to half a centering area 6.
- This open design in the head region 5 of the bottle cell 1 has the advantage that an optimal bottle flushing with spray nozzles 16 can be carried out from outside the bottle cell 1.
- the bottle cell 1 When the swing top bottle 2 is inserted into the bottle cell 1, the bottle cell 1 is generally essentially one horizontal position, so that the swing top bottle 2 rests on the lower webs 10.
- the swing top bottle 2 is generally open so that the bracket 14 and the clapper 8, which together form the locking mechanism, are not in front of the bottle mouth 15.
- the clapper 8 of the swing top bottle 2 is preferably located according to gravity at the lower end of the bottle cell 1.
- the 4a to 4c each show a bottle cell 1 with a swing top bottle 2, each of which is located at different positions within the bottle cell 1.
- Fig. 4a shows an arrangement in which the swing top bottle 2 has already been inserted into the bottle cell 1, but is not yet fully grasped by it. At the time when the swing top bottle 2 is inserted into the bottle cell 1, the latter lies horizontally, so that the swing top bottle 2 rests on the lower side of the bottle cell 1 with respect to gravity. There is no contact with the inner wall 11 during insertion, since the webs 10 are attached to the bottle inner wall 11 and their height extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis A.
- the swing top bottle 2 is pushed into the bottle cell 1 so that the clapper 8, which is attached to a bracket 14, is pushed in front of the swing top bottle 2 in the direction of insertion 20.
- the webs 10 extend from the base region 3 to the end of the lower central region 4b. Viewed in the direction of insertion 20 shortly before the end of the lower central region 4b, the webs 10 lose height and run into the inner wall 11 of the bottle cell 1, so that they completely merge into the inner wall 11 at the beginning of the upper central region 4a are. This running out of the webs 10 expands the inside diameter of the bottle cell 1 from the bottom region 3 and the lower center region 4b to the upper center region 4a.
- the position of the swing top bottle 2 in Fig. 4a is chosen so that it is located in its entire longitudinal extent (including bracket 14 and clapper 8) outside, in the bottom area 3 or in the lower middle area 4b.
- Fig. 4b shows a position of the swing top bottle 2 in the bottle cell 1, in which the bottle 2 is located completely inside the bottle cell 1, the bottom of the bottle 2 being in the bottom area 3 of the bottle cell 1, the trunk area of the bottle 2, the lower middle area 4b and the bottle mouth 15 is located in the upper middle area 4a.
- the clapper 8 is also located in the upper central region 4a. Due to the absence of the webs 10 in the upper central region 4a, the clapper 8 moves downward in the direction of the inner wall 11 when the flip-top bottle 2 is inserted into the bottle cell 1 in the direction of insertion 20.
- the inside diameter is not increased, the clapper 8 does not move relatively downwards, so that when the flip-top bottle 2 is inserted into the bottle cell 1 when the bottle cell 1 is tapered in the head region 5, this can occur Clapper 8 is centered by the funnel-shaped tapering of the head region 5 and is pushed in front of the bottle mouth 15. By concealing the bottle mouth 15 in the centering area 6, it is not possible to use cleaning liquid to be introduced into the swing top bottle 2 through a spray nozzle 16.
- the centering area 6 has stops 13 which are at least partially in contact with the mouth sealing surface when the swing top bottle 2 is pushed fully into the bottle cell 1.
- the swing top bottle 2 with the clapper 8 sits at the front of the bottle mouth 15 and is introduced into the centering area 6 as shown in FIG Fig. 5 is shown, this special construction of the centering area 6 is advantageous to cancel this state.
- the clapper 8 is in this case on the stops 13 and is on the paragraph 7.
- this shoulder 7 has a depth T which is less than or equal to the height of the part of the clapper 8, which is located in the bottle mouth 15 outside the swing top bottle 2.
- the swing top bottle 2 itself has only one direct contact point in the bottle cell 1, namely in the lower central region 4b on the webs 10.
- the clapper 8 remains briefly on the shoulder 7 in the centering area 6 after the start of the movement of the swing top bottle 2. This makes it possible to detach the clapper from the bottle mouth 15. In this way, slight jams such. B. the bonding of a sealing ring, not shown here, on the clapper 8 to the bottle mouth 15 can be released.
- Figure 6 shows the section along the line C in Figure 4b without swing top bottle 2.
- the webs 10 on the inner wall 11 of the bottle cell 1 are clearly visible.
- the enlargement of the diameter of the bottle cell 1 in the head region 5 is shown here. If the swing top bottles 2 lie on the webs 10, they move within a diameter D2 in the bottle cell 1. In the head region 5, after the webs 10 have run out into the inner wall 11 of the bottle cell 1, the swing top bottles 2 have freedom of movement in the area of a Diameter D1 available.
