Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for severing a hollow tube.
- German patent DE 102 129 20 (IPROTEX ) teaches a fabric tube having an upper and a lower fabric layer, wherein after the cutting of the hollow tube required for cutting for certain uses, if cold cutting is performed, uncontrolled cut-off warp or weft thread pieces can protrude from the interface and, if the cutting by hot cut is performed, the upper and lower layers can stick together in the region of the cutting edge.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a method for severing a textile hollow tube, wherein the known from the prior art disadvantages are avoided or at least greatly reduced.
- the object is achieved by a method according to claim 1.
- a superficial melting of limited areas of the two layers of the surface presented textile Hollow tube the lying in the field of later transection of the hollow tube threads and filaments are locked by superficial melting in the position and can not escape from the exposed after severing of the hollow tube tissue in the region of the cutting edge.
- the attachment of a release paper in the interior of the hollow tube prevents this that takes place in the superficial melting of the outer surface of a lower or upper layer of the hollow tube bonding of the opposite inner walls of the hollow tube.
- the release paper is already brought into the interior of the hollow tube during the production of the hollow tube. This allows a streamlining of the production time and practically the elimination of a time-consuming separate process step can be saved by the insertion of the release paper takes place simultaneously for weaving, knitting or braiding.
- the melting is carried out by means of ultrasound, high-frequency or laser welding technology.
- the case of the prior art known very economical method allow a quick and inexpensive superficial melting in the desired range.
- the melting could be achieved simply by heating the area in a conventional manner.
- the alignment of the required energy supply for the target area is, however, very simple, precise and reproducible to achieve with the said methods.
- Particularly advantageous is the use of ultrasonic welding in which a so-called sonotrode is placed in the region of the limited surfaces, which vibrates during welding and presses the band against an oppositely arranged fixed anvil plate. In this case, an impression of the sonotrode is left on the hollow tube in the area of the limited area.
- the area also referred to as "welded beam” is the area in which the textile hollow tube, which is produced according to the invention from thermoplastic filaments and threads, easily melts. This reliably prevents loosening of a single thread or filament.
- the severing of the hollow tube in the area of the limited areas is carried out by means of a cold cutting tool, in particular a rotary blade tool.
- a cold cutting tool in particular a rotary blade tool.
- hot cutting tools, laser cutting or high frequency cutting tools could be used.
- the advantage that can be achieved by using the method according to the invention in the various designs is that the hollow tubing pieces cut off have smooth, non-fraying ends and that the disadvantages of the tubes cut by the prior art method, such as fraying or breakage of tube parts when using the tubes The procedure according to the invention and the resulting product are prevented.
- an acrylic paper is brought into the interior of the hollow tube as release paper.
- Acyl paper has been found to be particularly suitable to prevent sticking or welding of adjacent pressurized hollow thermoplastic tube layers.
- Another advantage of carrying out the method according to the invention is that it does not adversely affect the shrinkability of the product.
- Fig. 1 shows a hollow hose H shown in perspective, which can be knitted, woven or braided.
- Such hollow tubes are used for many applications in the field of technology.
- hoses are used and produced for this purpose as endless material.
- Such hoses are often produced from shrinkable material and shrunk into place in place.
- Fig. 2 shows a woven as a two-ply tape variant, for example, after German patent DE 102 129 20 , Already during weaving, this results in an upper layer O and a lower layer U, which are interwoven in the edge region.
- the edge region designated by X in FIG. 2 shows, in an enlargement of this detail X in FIG. 3, the left edge of a hollow tube in plan view.
- the already inserted release paper T which (outlined here for a better illustration) in the interior I of the hollow tube H between the layers O and U is arranged.
- This release paper is preferably used as acrylic paper to form ideal properties when laying the layers of the hollow tube during cutting.
- Fig. 4 shows very schematically and exemplified a situation in which when performing the method according to the invention a base E should represent as it were an anvil for an abutment portion of a sonotrode, which is arranged on the surface O of the hollow hose H already fragmentarily shown here only in section is. 5, the sonotrode S is already pressed in the direction of the arrow L and has thereby melted the region A of the top layer O superficially while vibrating the sonotrode. This should be indicated by a double hatching in the corresponding area A.
- the hollow tube according to FIGS. 4 and 5 is to be rotated analogously by 180 °, in order to also melt the lower layer U accordingly.
- the result is a configuration as exemplified in FIG. 6, in which the roughly roughed area OF of the upper layer O of the hollow tube H represents the melted surface area.
- FIG. 7 shows a section through the hollow hose of FIG. 6 along the section line K-K.
- the limited areas OF of the upper layer O and the lower layer U are clearly visible. This is the so-called "welded bar” in whose area - this is indicated by the scissors symbol - the hollow tube H is cut through. In the area of the cut edge, loose loops can not be exposed due to the method according to the invention or even become detached from one end of the hollow tube section.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2,
- Fig. 3
- Fig. 4
- Fig. 5
- Fig. 6
