Definitions
- the invention relates to a continuous dishwasher in which the dishes to be cleaned receiving carrier baskets are conveyed by means of a transport carriage comprehensive transport mechanism through the continuous dishwasher.
- carrier baskets can be used, which allows easy transportability of the goods to be cleaned and outside of the machine on conveyor belts or curves.
- the material to be cleaned can be introduced in a simple manner in the carrier baskets and also easily removed from these again.
- the material to be cleaned can first be collected in several carrier baskets, so that the continuous dishwasher can be economically, i. can only be operated with fully loaded carrier baskets.
- receiving carrier baskets through the continuous dishwasher provide mounted inside the machine, extending in the longitudinal direction lateral basket guide rails. On this is the carrier basket. Below - the basket guide rails is a carriage-like trained transport element, which is provided with tilting pawls. The pivoting movement of this tilting pawls takes place in the transport direction of the carrier basket.
- the tilting pawls automatically rotate due to their shape and storage in a certain position, so that the tips of the tilting pawls, after they have set up, protrude into the interstices of a ribbing, which is formed on the underside of a carrier basket.
- the tips of the tilting pawls describe the movement of a circular arc when turning.
- the tilting pawls can be designed, for example, in the manner of a barb and push the carrier basket forward during a forward movement of a carriage-like transport element. after intervening in the lower ribbing of the carrier basket.
- Kippklinken can submerge under the ribbing of the carrier basket until they can again set up in an intermediate rib space on the underside of the carrier basket. Even with this erecting rotary motion, the tips of the tilting pawls describe a circular arc. This means that during the backward movement of the carriage-like transport element of the carrier basket remains stationary at one point.
- the tilting pawls In a further forward movement of the carriage-like transport element, the tilting pawls, after they have re-established themselves from the submerged position, re-engage in the ribbing of the carrier basket and push the carrier basket in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned through the conveyor dishwasher forward.
- a carriage-like transport element Common designs of a carriage-like transport element are given by a single, centrally located between the basket guide rails lifting carriage, wherein the rotating in the transport direction tilting pawls engage in the middle of the carrier basket. Other variants are to provide a rigidly formed rectangular frame, both of which engage with the rotating in the transport direction tilting slide profiles at the outer edges of the transport basket.
- the carriage profiles extend in the longitudinal direction of the continuous dishwasher laterally in the region of the head guide rails.
- the forward or backward movement of the carriage-like transport element is generated in that the rotational movement of a geared motor is converted with a crank mechanism in a forward and backward movement of the carriage-like transport element.
- the carrier basket with the material to be cleaned therein is not conveyed with uniform transport speed through the continuous dishwasher, but it can only be transported during half a motor revolution and remains during the other half engine revolution on the spot, if the carriage-like transport element in Reverse direction running movement performs.
- the carriage-like transport element in Reverse direction running movement performs.
- downtime of the carrier basket of the carrier basket is moved during the forward movement at much more than twice the transport speed.
- WO 2004 045361 A1 or US 2004/0094185 A are mutually oppositely movable transport rails, which extend in the longitudinal direction of a continuous dishwasher, known, which are housed laterally in the region of the guide rails for the transport basket.
- Transport rails are rotating in the transport direction tilting pawls, which engage the outer edges of the transport basket.
- the transport rails With these counter-movable transport rails can be achieved that the respective forward stroke movement of a transport rail corresponds to the return stroke of the other transport rail.
- the transport rails each execute two stroke cycles, consisting of delivery stroke and return stroke. Due to this embodiment, the downtime, which results in the conventional technique in the backward stroke of a rigid slide, now also be used for the advancing movement of the goods to be cleaned receiving the transport basket.
- a transport carriage is known, both of which engage with the rotating in the transport direction tilting pawls slide profiles on the outer edges of the transport basket.
- the drive unit of the transport carriage is configured such that the conveyor is movable in the forward direction, wherein the transport basket moves in the forward direction on the conveyor with respect to the treatment zones of the conveyor dishwasher and the conveyor is operable in the rearward direction, wherein the transport basket substantially stationary in relation remains on the treatment zones, wherein the speed of the rearward movement of the conveyor is considerably higher than the speed of forward movement in the transport direction of the material to be cleaned by the treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher.
- the axes of the rotatable tilting pawls are transverse to the longitudinal axis of the continuous-flow dishwasher, i. rotated by 90 ° to the longitudinal axis of the carriage profiles arranged.
- the tilting and pivoting movement of the tilting pawls is always directed in the direction of the transport direction of the transport basket through the continuous dishwasher.
- a motor drive for driving a reciprocating transport rail of a continuous dishwasher is known.
- a rotational movement of a drive shaft is converted into a reciprocating linear motion, wherein on the drive shaft a consisting of two half-shells with a semi-cylindrical cross-section bearing is provided.
- At least one of the half shells cooperates with a switching device, wherein the switching device when a certain lateral deflection of at least one half-shell switches, and in particular shuts off the motor drive.
- the pawl carries out a pivoting movement in the direction of the transport direction, for example in a clockwise direction, wherein the tip of the pawl describes a circular arc.
- the pawl remains in the submerged state until the web located above it releases the tip of the pawl and thus allows a rearward pivoting movement, for example in the counterclockwise direction, into the raised state of the pawl.
- the tip of the pawl again describes a circular arc.
- the backward stroke must be at least so large that the pawl can move from its submerged position back to its mounting position.
- lifting movements between about 80 mm and 250 mm are known. Less strokes than 80 mm, however, are not possible, since the distance between webs more common on the underside of the transport baskets formed ribs is a minimum of 70 mm and thus the transfer of the web of the ribbing from one to the next pawl is not possible. Due to the slip occurring thus the stroke is always sized larger than the web spacing of the grid, which is formed on the underside of the transport basket.
- a disadvantage of the above-described construction principle of tilting in the transport direction tilting pawl is the fact that the forward stroke of the transport mechanism can not be fully used for forward movement of the transport basket in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned by the continuous dishwasher and thereby a loss of uniformity of the movement of the carrier basket relative to the individual treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher results, which has an unfavorable effect on the achievable washing result.
- the adjusting washing result depends, among other factors, directly on how long a flat spray of individual nozzles acts on the surface of the material to be cleaned.
- a non-uniform movement has a negative effect on the achievable cleaning result.
- Particularly disadvantageous in this context is a large-stroke movement (80 mm to 250 mm) of the transport basket, in particular within the Frischwasserklar Hugheszone the continuous dishwasher.
- the fresh water rinsing zone e.g. generates a fan-shaped spray on a line transverse to the transport direction of the transport basket, which acts on the surface of the material to be cleaned.
- the flushing result on a drinking glass which passes this line-shaped spray is unsatisfactory due to the large-stroke movement (80 mm to 250 mm) of the transport basket over the spray jet.
- large-stroke movements such as e.g. the above-mentioned 80 mm to 250 mm, the washing result negative, since the material to be cleaned can not be applied uniformly with lye and rinse water.
- a short, in particular slip-running stroke of the transport mechanism for forward movement of the transport basket through the treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher, in particular for the rinse, in which the rinsing of wash with heated fresh water takes place the particular for Rinse required amount of fresh water can be significantly reduced. Due to the short slip free transport strokes on the one hand can reduce the heating power required for heating this fresh water and on the other hand, the required amount of fresh water. This significantly improves the economy and the efficiency of a continuous dishwasher.
- the slip-free transport pawls accommodated in the transport rails are arranged such that their rotating pivoting movement for engaging in the grid formed on the underside of the transport basket transversely to the longitudinal direction of the conveyor dishwasher, that is rotated by 90 ° to the longitudinal direction of the transport rails.
- the axis of the slip-free transport pawls is always positioned in the longitudinal direction, ie in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned by the continuous dishwasher.
- the slip-free transport pawl can be supported in a U-shaped bearing shell, which is firmly connected to a transport carriage, to absorb the forces and moments occurring during transport.
- the axis of the slip-free transport pawl is pushed through holes in both webs of the U-shaped bearing shell through and fixed there.
- transport basket which is transverse to the transport direction erected, ready to grip the underside of the transport basket slip-free transport pawl with its front surface at the located in front of it web of formed on the underside of the transport basket grid and transports the transport basket in the longitudinal direction of the continuous dishwasher according to the conveying direction of the transport basket until reaching the end position of the stroke in the transport direction.
- transport pawl which is pivotable transversely to the direction of transport, is moved counter to the transport direction of the transport cage, which remains stationary at this moment.
- the slip-free transport pawl performs due to their storage a pivoting movement transversely to the direction of the transport direction of the transport basket in a submerged position. It remains as long as in the submerged state until the web located above it releases the tip of the slip-free transport pawl and thus allows a rearward pivotal movement transversely to the transport direction in the erected state of the slip-free transport pawl. As soon as the slip-free transport pawl has been set up, the return stroke of the transport rail ends.
- the tip of the slip-free transport pawl without necessarily cause a distance, immediately after passing the ridge on the underside of the transport basket and is now without occurrence of slippage in terms of engagement to the formed on the underside of the transport basket webs for forward movement of the transport basket ready.
- the front surface of the slip-free transport pawl is thus immediately before the web of the transport basket to be conveyed in the transport direction, without that would be to achieve the engagement with this distance to overcome.
- the transport basket is conveyed without slippage (without idle stroke) immediately in the transport direction to the front.
- slip-trained transport pawls arranged immediately behind one another which do not form a greater length than the distance between two consecutive webs of a formed on the underside of the transport basket grid, very small, i. short strokes are achieved, which are beneficial for the washing and rinse aid result.
- To work with shorter strokes is particularly desirable when the slip-trained transport pawls convey the transport basket through the conveyor dishwasher, as accumulated by each running stroke of a transport carriage with slippery transport latches negative impact slip.
- the greater the number of strokes subject to slippage the more irregularly the transport basket is conveyed in the direction of transport of the material to be cleaned through the continuous dishwasher, which in turn has a negative effect on the washing and rinse aid result.
- the representation according to FIG. 1 is the plan view of a carriage-like design transport element for transporting a transport basket to remove by a continuous dishwasher.

- a conveyor for transporting the transport basket is constructed substantially sled-like and symmetrical to the symmetry axis 1 and comprises a cross-beam 2 and two coupled via the cross-beam 2 transport rails, namely a first transport rail 5 and a second transport rail 6.
- Above the first transport rail 5 and the second Transport rail 6 extend basket guide rails 4, which support the transported by means of the first transport rail 5 and the second transport rail 6 in the conveying direction 1.1 through the treatment zones of the conveyor dishwasher transport basket.
- a driven by a drive such as an electric drive axis of rotation 3, which is driven in the direction of rotation 3.1.
- a turntable 3.2 On the axis of rotation 3 is a turntable 3.2, which in turn receives a pin 3.3, which in an in FIG. 1 not shown sliding block 3.4 engages.
- the rotational movement of the driven axis of rotation 3 is characterized by the illustrated technical Execution in a reciprocating motion of the mutually parallel, extending in the conveying direction 1.1 first transport rail 5 and the second transport rail 6 converted.
- transport pawls 10 are added, which are inventively designed as slip-free tilting pawls.
- the individual transport pawls 10 are received in pairs (see reference numeral 22).

- the representation according to Figure 2.1 is to take an enlarged view of a submerged and engaging in the transport ribbing of the transport basket transport pawl.
- the transport pawl 10 which in the illustration according to Figure 2.1 has assumed its position 17 set up in relation to the transport ribbing 23, reaches this position due to the counterweight section 10.4 formed at a greater height (see also illustration according to FIG. 3 ). Due to the formed at a greater height counterweight section 10.4 of each of the transport pawls 10, which are designed as slip-free tilting pawls, acts on the components 10.1 and 10.2 of each transport pawl 10, a torque in the direction of installation relative to the axis 8.
- the transport pawl 10 which pivots transversely to the conveying direction 1.1, is moved opposite the conveying direction 1.1 of the transporting basket 12, which remains stationary at this moment. Description
The invention relates to a continuous dishwasher in which the dishes to be cleaned receiving carrier baskets are conveyed by means of a transport carriage comprehensive transport mechanism through the continuous dishwasher. In continuous dishwashers carrier baskets can be used, which allows easy transportability of the goods to be cleaned and outside of the machine on conveyor belts or curves. The material to be cleaned can be introduced in a simple manner in the carrier baskets and also easily removed from these again. During low load periods, i. with only a small amount of dishes, the material to be cleaned can first be collected in several carrier baskets, so that the continuous dishwasher can be economically, i. can only be operated with fully loaded carrier baskets.
For the transport of the material to be cleaned receiving carrier baskets through the continuous dishwasher provide mounted inside the machine, extending in the longitudinal direction lateral basket guide rails. On this is the carrier basket. Below - the basket guide rails is a carriage-like trained transport element, which is provided with tilting pawls. The pivoting movement of this tilting pawls takes place in the transport direction of the carrier basket. The tilting pawls automatically rotate due to their shape and storage in a certain position, so that the tips of the tilting pawls, after they have set up, protrude into the interstices of a ribbing, which is formed on the underside of a carrier basket. The tips of the tilting pawls describe the movement of a circular arc when turning. The tilting pawls can be designed, for example, in the manner of a barb and push the carrier basket forward during a forward movement of a carriage-like transport element. after intervening in the lower ribbing of the carrier basket. When performing a backward movement of the carriage-like transport element rotatably mounted in the transport direction Kippklinken can submerge under the ribbing of the carrier basket until they can again set up in an intermediate rib space on the underside of the carrier basket. Even with this erecting rotary motion, the tips of the tilting pawls describe a circular arc. This means that during the backward movement of the carriage-like transport element of the carrier basket remains stationary at one point. In a further forward movement of the carriage-like transport element, the tilting pawls, after they have re-established themselves from the submerged position, re-engage in the ribbing of the carrier basket and push the carrier basket in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned through the conveyor dishwasher forward.
Common designs of a carriage-like transport element are given by a single, centrally located between the basket guide rails lifting carriage, wherein the rotating in the transport direction tilting pawls engage in the middle of the carrier basket. Other variants are to provide a rigidly formed rectangular frame, both of which engage with the rotating in the transport direction tilting slide profiles at the outer edges of the transport basket. The carriage profiles extend in the longitudinal direction of the continuous dishwasher laterally in the region of the head guide rails. The forward or backward movement of the carriage-like transport element is generated in that the rotational movement of a geared motor is converted with a crank mechanism in a forward and backward movement of the carriage-like transport element. Due to this design principle, the carrier basket with the material to be cleaned therein is not conveyed with uniform transport speed through the continuous dishwasher, but it can only be transported during half a motor revolution and remains during the other half engine revolution on the spot, if the carriage-like transport element in Reverse direction running movement performs. To compensate for the adjusting during the return stroke of the carriage-like transport element downtime of the carrier basket of the carrier basket is moved during the forward movement at much more than twice the transport speed.

In all previously known embodiments of a carriage-like transport element, the axes of the rotatable tilting pawls are transverse to the longitudinal axis of the continuous-flow dishwasher, i. rotated by 90 ° to the longitudinal axis of the carriage profiles arranged. Thus, the tilting and pivoting movement of the tilting pawls is always directed in the direction of the transport direction of the transport basket through the continuous dishwasher.

A detailed analysis of the function of the previously used tilting pawls for the transport of transport baskets through the treatment zones of continuous washing machines and an analysis of the movement of transport pawls taking place in the space between two Verrippungsstegen corresponding to the grid at the bottom of the transport basket shows the following:
During the forward movement of resting on the lateral guide rails of the conveyor dishwasher transporting in the transport direction uplifted and ready to engage in the grid of the transport basket pawl in the intervening space of the grid of the transport basket engages, abuts a web and transports this in Transport direction of the transport basket, ie in the longitudinal direction of the continuous dishwasher until the end position of the stroke to the front. In the subsequent backward stroke, the pawl is moved opposite to the conveying direction of the transport basket. If the tip or the back of the pawl meets the backward stroke on the web of the grid located on the underside of the transport basket, then this web pushes the pawl downwards. The pawl carries out a pivoting movement in the direction of the transport direction, for example in a clockwise direction, wherein the tip of the pawl describes a circular arc. The pawl remains in the submerged state until the web located above it releases the tip of the pawl and thus allows a rearward pivoting movement, for example in the counterclockwise direction, into the raised state of the pawl. In this leading to erecting the pawl pivoting movement, the tip of the pawl again describes a circular arc. Inevitably, therefore, the backward stroke must be at least so large that the pawl can move from its submerged position back to its mounting position. This results between the erected, ready for engagement in the gap of the grid tip of the pawl and located in front of it web formed on the underside of the transport basket grid, a distance which in the subsequent forward stroke not to transport the transport basket in the transport direction of cleansing good can be used. The transport basket therefore remains stationary with respect to the treatment zone and is not moved by the conveyor in the transport direction of the material to be cleaned. Furthermore, this above-described distance between the top of the erected latch and the front of her located web on the underside of the transport basket, which can not be used for forward movement of the transport basket, referred to as slip.
Depending on the design of the transport mechanism realized lifting movements between about 80 mm and 250 mm are known.
A disadvantage of the above-described construction principle of tilting in the transport direction tilting pawl is the fact that the forward stroke of the transport mechanism can not be fully used for forward movement of the transport basket in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned by the continuous dishwasher and thereby a loss of uniformity of the movement of the carrier basket relative to the individual treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher results, which has an unfavorable effect on the achievable washing result.
Furthermore, the adjusting washing result depends, among other factors, directly on how long a flat spray of individual nozzles acts on the surface of the material to be cleaned. A non-uniform movement has a negative effect on the achievable cleaning result. Particularly disadvantageous in this context is a large-stroke movement (80 mm to 250 mm) of the transport basket, in particular within the Frischwasserklarspülzone the continuous dishwasher. In the fresh water rinsing zone, e.g. generates a fan-shaped spray on a line transverse to the transport direction of the transport basket, which acts on the surface of the material to be cleaned. For example, the flushing result on a drinking glass which passes this line-shaped spray is unsatisfactory due to the large-stroke movement (80 mm to 250 mm) of the transport basket over the spray jet. In addition, large-stroke movements such as e.g. the above-mentioned 80 mm to 250 mm, the washing result negative, since the material to be cleaned can not be applied uniformly with lye and rinse water.
In view of the cited state of the present invention has the object to perform the lifting movement of a transport mechanism for forward movement of the transport basket as short as possible in order to achieve a uniform loading of the goods stored in the transport basket to be cleaned with both wash and clear rinse water.
According to the invention, this object is solved by the features of
The advantages which can be achieved with the solution proposed according to the invention are, above all, to be seen in the fact that with the same dishware, i. cleaned amount of dishes within a certain time, by a shorter, slip-free strokes a much more uniform loading of the material to be cleaned with wash and rinse water can be achieved, resulting in a significantly improved washing or cleaning result. On the other hand, with otherwise identical cleaning parameters, the dishware, i. cleaned amount of dishes within a certain time to be increased, but the achievable washing result remains qualitatively the same.
Furthermore, by using the proposed solution according to the invention, a short, in particular slip-running stroke of the transport mechanism for forward movement of the transport basket through the treatment zones of the continuous dishwasher, in particular for the rinse, in which the rinsing of wash with heated fresh water takes place, the particular for Rinse required amount of fresh water can be significantly reduced. Due to the short slip free transport strokes on the one hand can reduce the heating power required for heating this fresh water and on the other hand, the required amount of fresh water. This significantly improves the economy and the efficiency of a continuous dishwasher.
According to the invention, the slip-free transport pawls accommodated in the transport rails are arranged such that their rotating pivoting movement for engaging in the grid formed on the underside of the transport basket transversely to the longitudinal direction of the conveyor dishwasher, that is rotated by 90 ° to the longitudinal direction of the transport rails. Thus, the axis of the slip-free transport pawls is always positioned in the longitudinal direction, ie in the transport direction of the goods to be cleaned by the continuous dishwasher. The slip-free transport pawl can be supported in a U-shaped bearing shell, which is firmly connected to a transport carriage, to absorb the forces and moments occurring during transport. The axis of the slip-free transport pawl is pushed through holes in both webs of the U-shaped bearing shell through and fixed there.
The function of a slip-free transport pawl, which is located in a space between two webs of the formed on the underside of the transport basket Verrippungsrasters, is as follows.
In the forward movement of the running on the side in the continuous dishwasher guide rails transport basket, which is transverse to the transport direction erected, ready to grip the underside of the transport basket slip-free transport pawl with its front surface at the located in front of it web of formed on the underside of the transport basket grid and transports the transport basket in the longitudinal direction of the continuous dishwasher according to the conveying direction of the transport basket until reaching the end position of the stroke in the transport direction. During the subsequent reverse stroke, the transport pawl, which is pivotable transversely to the direction of transport, is moved counter to the transport direction of the transport cage, which remains stationary at this moment. If the tip or the back of the slip-free transport pawl encounters the backward stroke on the web of the ribbing grid formed on the underside of the transport basket, then this web pushes the back of the transport pawl formed downwards. The slip-free transport pawl performs due to their storage a pivoting movement transversely to the direction of the transport direction of the transport basket in a submerged position. Since the movement of the slip-trained transport pawl is transverse to the transport direction, the tip of the slip-free transport pawl, without necessarily cause a distance, immediately after passing the ridge on the underside of the transport basket and is now without occurrence of slippage in terms of engagement to the formed on the underside of the transport basket webs for forward movement of the transport basket ready. The front surface of the slip-free transport pawl is thus immediately before the web of the transport basket to be conveyed in the transport direction, without that would be to achieve the engagement with this distance to overcome. During the subsequent forward stroke of the transport rail, the transport basket is conveyed without slippage (without idle stroke) immediately in the transport direction to the front.
If two or more slip-trained transport pawls arranged immediately behind one another, which do not form a greater length than the distance between two consecutive webs of a formed on the underside of the transport basket grid, very small, i. short strokes are achieved, which are beneficial for the washing and rinse aid result. To work with shorter strokes is particularly desirable when the slip-trained transport pawls convey the transport basket through the conveyor dishwasher, as accumulated by each running stroke of a transport carriage with slippery transport latches negative impact slip. The greater the number of strokes subject to slippage, the more irregularly the transport basket is conveyed in the direction of transport of the material to be cleaned through the continuous dishwasher, which in turn has a negative effect on the washing and rinse aid result.
At the same average speed, it is therefore better to carry out shorter strokes instead of longer strokes, as can be achieved by the juxtaposition of many short strokes a uniform movement of the transport basket and thus a more uniform loading of the stored in the transport basket to clean good with wash and rinse water. Below average transport speed, the total distance that the transport basket has to travel is divided by the time required for this. In spite of the high speed phases that occur, short transport strokes executed in quick succession are better for the washing and rinsing results, since the movement, such as the movement, e.g. stated above on the basis of a drinking glass through the rinse zone, much more uniform. In short failing strokes a usually slim designed glass is not moved as in the conventional transport method with a large stroke through the line-shaped spray, but in the context of several smaller strokes, which in particular leads to a significantly improved rinse aid result.

With shorter strokes in the conveying direction 1.1
The more short slippery strokes are performed, the more uneven the transport basket is conveyed in the conveying direction 1.1, which has a negative effect on the achievable washing and rinse aid.
Despite occurring high-speed phases are short fast successively executed strokes for moving the
