Description

The present invention relates to a fastening device for holding a removable lighting lamp on a protective helmet.

The invention finds a particularly advantageous, but not exclusive, application in the field of fire helmets.

In a number of applications, it may be advantageous to non-permanently secure a removable lamp on the outer surface of a protective helmet. Many users of this type of helmet are, in fact, regularly brought to evolve in environments with little or no light. We think first of all here of the firefighters or the military, but also of the construction workers, the miners or the speleologists.

To removably attach a lamp to a protective helmet, it is particularly known to use a fastening device comprising a support and a fastening element. The support is secured to one of the lateral parts of the protective helmet, while the fastening element is constituted by a sleeve capable of receiving the lamp and provided with a projecting part intended to be engaged and to slide in a guide groove arranged horizontally in the support. The engagement of this protruding part takes place horizontally from back to front of the helmet; the sliding of the fastening element being simply blocked forward by means forming a stop.

This type of known fastening device, however, has the drawback of not offering a stop sliding backwards, of so that the attachment element can be brought very easily to disengage from the guide groove, especially following a shock between the lamp and any obstacle. This is very detrimental for the equipment itself, since the lamp can be damaged during its fall, but also for the user who finds himself without this means of personal lighting.

To overcome these disadvantages, the patent application WO 2004/106805 proposed an improved fixing device which makes it possible to avoid the problems of the state of the art by guaranteeing the retention of the removable lamp in the event of an impact, even when said shock is substantially collinear with the direction of sliding of the element hanging in the support element.

The object of the invention is to provide an even improved fixing device which guarantees an even higher level of attachment.

For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a device for removably attaching a lamp to a support of the type in which the lamp comprises an attachment pin forming a shoe intended to slide between two guide rails integral with the support and in which the support comprises at least one abutment disposed at the end of the slide and intended to lock the slider in an end-hung position characterized in that it comprises a tongue disposed between the two guide rails upstream of the abutment and whose base is secured to of the support, the distance separating the edge of the slideways from the base of the tongue being less than the height of the pad while the distance separating the edge of the slideways from the end of the tongue being at least equal to the height of the pad so that that the sliding of the pad between the two slides causes the displacement of the tongue transversely to the slides then the folding thereof against the pad in its extreme position hooked and thus performs sliding locking of the pad in the support.

The solution according to the invention is extremely simple and consists in producing a mechanical lock without any other mechanical part attached to the support: only the free tongue disposed between the two slides locks the pin in extreme position hooked.

The term "upstream" is used in the context of the invention with reference to the direction of sliding of the pin during its introduction between the two slides and thus during the attachment of the lamp to the support.

The present invention also relates to the characteristics that will emerge during the following description, which should be considered in isolation or in all their possible technical combinations.

For the sake of clarity, the same elements have been designated by identical references. Likewise, only the essential elements for understanding the invention have been represented, and this without regard to the scale and in a schematic manner.

The Figures 1 and 1a illustrate a fixing device (1) for detachably fixing a lamp (2) on a firefighter's protective helmet (3), with a support (4) itself attached to the helmet (3).

In this particular embodiment chosen solely by way of example, the device (1) for detachably attaching a lamp (2) to a support (4) is of the type in which the lamp (2) comprises a pion hooking (5) forming a shoe (6) intended to slide between two guide rails (40, 41) integral with the support (4) and in which the support comprises at least one stop (42) disposed at the end of the slide and intended to lock the shoe (6) in an end position hooked.

As can be seen from the Figures 2 and 3 , the attachment pin (5) is here an integral part of the structure of the lamp (2) which has a rigid outer envelope.

According to the invention, the device (1) comprises a tongue (43) disposed between the two guide rails (40,41) upstream of the stop (42) and whose base (430) is integral with the support (4). , the distance (e1) separating the edge of the rails (40,41) from the base (430) of the tongue (43) being less than the height (h) of the pad (6) while the distance (e2) separating the edge of the slides (40,41) of the tip (431) of the tongue (43) being at least equal to the height (h) of the shoe (6) so that the sliding of the shoe (6) between the two slides (40,41) causes the tongue (43) to move transversely to the slides ( figure 6a ) and then folding it against the shoe (6) in its extreme hanging position ( figure 6b ) and thus slidably locks the pad (6) in the support (4). Thus, in the illustrated embodiment, the height (h) of the pad (6) is exactly equal to the distance (e2) to the production sets respectively of the support (4) and the tongue (43) and the pad (6) close .

In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the lamp (2) comprises a lug (20) arranged parallel to the axis of the latching pin (5) and intended to bear against the edge of a ramp (44). ) inclined disposed at the head of one of the slides (40) forming a lever arm (L), the actuation of the lever arm causing the lifting of the tongue (43) folded against the pin (6) and thus the unlocking the support pawn. Thus in the preferred and illustrated embodiment, the length (L) of the lever arm as defined by the distance between the pin (20) and the shoe (6) ( figure 3 ) is equal to the distance between the axis (X-X ') of positioning of the pad (6) abutting the inlet (440) of the ramp (44).
As can be seen from the Figures 2 and 3 , the lug (20) is an integral part of the structure of the lamp (2).

As can be seen at figure 4 the support (4) comprises indexing means (45) for pivotally locking the shoe (6) in the slideways (40,41) in at least two predetermined inclinations with respect to the direction of sliding (Y-Y ' ).

More specifically, in the illustrated embodiment, the support (4) comprises a plurality of indexing grooves (450) distributed angularly with respect to the axis (Y-Y ') of the support and arranged on the same circumference upstream. of the base (430) of the tongue (43), a given inclination of the lamp in the extreme position hooked causing the introduction of an indexing pin (20) integral with the lamp in one of the indexing grooves (450 ) thereby performing angular indexing of the lamp (2) relative to the support (4).

In the preferred and illustrated embodiment, the support ramp (440) is angularly disposed on the same circumference as that of the indexing grooves (450) so that the indexing pin (20) constitutes the one (20). lever arm (L).

Of course, it goes without saying that other modifications may be provided without departing from the scope of the invention. Thus, as illustrated on the figure 4 , the support (4) has another direction of sliding (Y1-Y'1) in which the pin (6) slides between the ramp (44) and another slide (46), the lug (20) bearing against this other slide (46) during the subsequent sliding of the pin (6) between the slides (40,41) according to the invention.
