Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging container, in particular can-like container with a produced from composite film, cylinder or tube-like container body and a cover device, and a bottom closure, in particular floor.
- Such containers are well known (see eg DE 40 23 602 A1 ) and are used for storage, storage and transport of liquid, pasty and solid contents, the low weight and easy printability of such packaging are extremely beneficial.
- a disadvantage is sometimes the handling, in particular the opening of such containers, due to the flexibility of the container body, which is made of a composite film. For lack of sufficient stability of the container body, it can happen very easily when opening the container that the contents of the package is spilled uncontrollably. This danger is especially true if the container opening is designed to be flexible.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide an alternative to rigid, made of plastic, glass or metal packaging containers open in spite of the production of flexible composite film controlled open and optionally also can be closed again.
- the packaging containers according to the invention should be an alternative to rigid packaging cans.
- the lid means comprises an attached on the peripheral edge of the container body, sealed, a container opening limiting and relatively rigid or dimensionally stable annular shoulder and extending over the container opening and sealed to the edge thereof cover sheet.
- This design also allows relatively large dimensionally stable container openings, which can be closed so that the container contents are protected from contamination.
- the container contents can also be packaged sterile.
- the neck has a radially outwardly extending latching projection, in particular annular projection, or a radially inwardly extending latching notch, which correspond with complementary latching means on the lid.
- a thread is impressed or cut on the outer circumference of the neck, which corresponds with a corresponding internal thread of a screw cap or a screw cap.
- the lid can also be hinged as a hinged lid on the shoulder via a film hinge. Shoulder and lid are then integrally connected. In principle, of course, a multi-part Schatniergelenkharm is conceivable. It is also possible that the lid itself is formed kinkable. For this purpose, the lid may be formed in a section itself as a film hinge.
- the hinge joint may also be biased in the closed position of the lid, either by appropriate imprinting a tension in the material or by the arrangement of a torsion spring.
- the opening edge may be circular, oval, triangular or the like. With regard to the shaping here are no limits. In particular, the opening edge may comprise a sprue or beak. The lid is then designed accordingly.
- the cover film has at least one grip tab extending radially beyond the edge of the container opening. By means of this, the cover can be easily detached or removed from the opening edge of the container.
- the container body is preferably made of a film which is fin-shaped or lap-seal formed into a cylindrical, Kegelstampfförmigen or tubular body.
- the container body may alternatively also be a section of an extruded film tube.
- the container body consists of a laminate, wherein optionally also the bottom and the cover made of this laminate, in particular an aluminum laminate, with at least one seal and optionally at least one barrier layer, in particular of SiO 2 , ethylvinyl alcohol or a metal foil.
- the film thickness is in the range of 50 ⁇ to 1000 ⁇ , in particular 100 ⁇ to 500 ⁇ , preferably 150 ⁇ to 350 ⁇ . Ultimately, the film thickness also depends on the content and size of the packaging container.
- the bottom of the packaging container can either be cup-shaped flat or formed with V or W-fold and glued or sealed edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body.
- the bottom can also be closed only by forming a transverse sealing seam corresponding to the bottom closure of a toothpaste or the like.
- the floor consists of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material and is formed as a stand base, so that a total of a can-like container is formed, which is characterized by a relatively stiff bottom, a relatively rigid and dimensionally stable lid device and a container body made of composite film.
- Such containers are relatively lightweight, easy to produce, sufficiently dimensionally stable and safe to open and, if necessary, to close again. They can be used to store liquid, powdery or granular articles, in particular foods, drinks or even pharmaceuticals. Due to the flexibility of the container body or due to the simple deformability of the composite film from which the container body is to be produced, any number of different container shapes can be produced. Also, a printing of the container is very simple; it only needs the composite film to be pre-printed accordingly.
- the lid can be made of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material, so that the lid after opening the container for other uses, such as a pad for the container, is suitable.
- the relatively rigid or dimensionally stable bottom and / or lid is produced by injection molding or deep drawing. These manufacturing processes are extremely cost effective and are particularly well suited for the production of large quantities.
- the lid has a sloping lid top and thus a certain height extension.
- the lid according to the invention may be formed frusto-conical, with the lid tapers upwards. It should be noted that a combination of the features of a sloping top cover and a taper can be combined.
- the aforementioned embodiments are well suited for containers with a lid whose inclined top is available, for example, for advertising purposes and faces the viewer for better visibility. This is particularly advantageous when installing the containers on store shelves, especially since such a three-dimensionally designed lid has an unusual lid shape and thus represents a certain eye-catching feature.
- such a three-dimensionally designed lid with a truncated cone body and a sloping lid top can be used as a stand aid for the container after its removal from the top of the container, the container with its bottom, preferably at least partially formed approximately complementary to the truncated cone shape of the lid is put on this.
- the bottom can either be flat cup-shaped or formed with a V or W-fold and glued edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body, welded or sealed.
- This peripheral edge which usually serves at least as a partial footprint of the container, comes by placing the container on the lid in an inclined position, so that now the entire container has a slight inclination.
- the degree of filling of the container is dimensioned so that the filling material does not pour out of this slight skew, especially in a fully open container out of this.
- the lid can be placed either on its underside, but optionally also on its top side, and the bottom of the container, when used as a stand aid, is engaged with the lid on the inside or outside, so that the container does not can slip off the slope of the lid.
- the peripheral edge of the lid has a slightly larger outer diameter than the floor or top opening edge, so that the lid is now placed with its original top down on a base and the container in an opening of the lid comes to a standstill and is held for example by a lip or bar on the now upwardly directed lid peripheral edge.
- the container body has a different height over the circumference, so that the container opening of a horizontally standing container extends obliquely sloping.
- the lid is designed in such an oval shape that it is suitable for closing the container opening.
- a ring section or ring which can be snapped on at least around a section of the neck of the cover device and which surrounds the neck at least partially, is connected to the cover, in particular via a film hinge.
- the container can first be filled and sealed with a cover sheet before the lid is secured to the container by means of a ring or a ring portion at least partially surrounding the neck.
- the lid device is made of a relatively stiff or dimensionally stable material, it being emphasized that not only the lid, but also the entire lid device can be injection-molded or deep-drawn.
- the ring portion or ring are wrapped around at least a portion of the neck and thus connected to the container.
- Such a design Lid with the neck at least partially embracing attachment means may be removable, so that the lid can be used by the end user for various containers. In this way it is possible to close the container in a cost effective manner only with the cover.
- the lid with the neck at least partially embracing fastening device can thus be used by the end user, as needed, for reclosing an opened container.
- these sealability reducing substances may be, for example, polybutylene or polypropylene or a mixture of both, in particular with an admixture of 20% by weight of polybutylene to polypropylene.
- the lid has an opening which can be opened outwards and, in particular, sealed, before use, preferably closed with a film.
- an object such as a spoon, knife, fork or the like.
- Tool or addition can be arranged.
- the tool may preferably be formed foldable or collapsible.
- a cover sheet is removed from the top of the recess having the lid, so that the recess is accessible with the material therein. Then, the lid of the container can be opened, so that the interior of the container is accessible.
- the lid may serve as a stand aid for the container.
- the lid preferably has a larger area than the container bottom and is provided with a depression into which the container bottom can be inserted in an essentially registering manner.
- This embodiment is particularly preferred for use for smaller children, as overturning or overturning of the container is significantly more difficult due to its now enlarged footprint.
- the container itself may be provided with a cover sheet in addition to its lid.
- the neck of the lid device is provided with a thread on which a lid can be screwed.
- the lid has a preferably concentric with its peripheral edge attached closure sheet which can be pushed out of the top of the lid with separation from the same, so that in the top of the lid, a circular opening is formed.
- this circular opening can be used in a conventional manner, a sucker for infants and / or toddlers, the dimension of the resulting opening in the lid top is of course dimensioned for commercial sucker.
- the container according to the invention can be used as a "vial" for infants and babies.
- the packaging container shown is a can-like container 10 having a cylinder-shaped or tube-like container body 11 and a lid 13 and a bottom 13.
- the lid 12 comprises a peripheral edge 14 of the container body 11 attached, namely the outside sealed, a container opening 15th Between annular shoulder 16 and container opening 15, a neck 19 is formed on which a lid 20 can be screwed.
- a thread 21 is impressed on the outer circumference of the neck 19, which corresponds with a corresponding and not shown here internal thread of the screw 20.
- the container body 11 may be made of a rectangular foil blank whose overlapping longitudinal edges are either fin- or lap-seal-like connected to each other.
- the container body 11 is a portion of an extruded film tube.
- a dimensionally stable flat pot-like floor 13 is inserted and sealed with the container body 11 along the bottom-side peripheral edge, on the inside.
- the floor 13 is in a known manner at the bottom in the cylindrical container body 11, possibly with the same slight radial expansion thereof, inserted and welded or sealed with this.
- the covering film 18 has a grip tab 22 extending radially beyond the edge 17 of the container opening 15, by means of which the covering film 18 can be easily removed from the edge 17 of the container opening 15 after removal of the screw cap or screw cap 20.
- the container body 11 and the covering film 18 preferably consist of an aluminum laminate with at least one sealing layer and optionally at least one barrier layer, in particular SiO 2 , ethylvinyl alcohol or a metal foil.
- the laminate of the container body 11 should also be sealable, in particular, because along the upper and lower peripheral edge of the container body 11, the lid device or the annular shoulder thereof on the one hand and the floor 13 on the other hand should be sealable.
- the embodiment according to Fig. 2 differs from the one after Fig. 1 only in that the lid 20 can be snapped onto the neck 19, in the direction of the arrow 23.
- the removal of the lid 20 is of course in the opposite direction.
- the cover 20 has a peripheral edge with a radially inwardly extending annular projection 24, which corresponds to a radially outwardly extending annular projection 25 in the region of the edge 17 of the container opening 15.
- FIGS. 3a-3e show a can-like container 10, wherein the attachment of a lid device 12 according to the invention is shown in consequence of the corresponding steps.
- Fig. 3a is sealed to the upper peripheral edge 14 of the container body 11, an annular shoulder 16 together with the neck 19, on the outside. It then creates the configuration according to Fig. 3b .
- a cover sheet 18 with gripping tab 22 is sealed onto the opening edge 17 delimiting the container opening 15 (see FIG Fig. 3c and 3d ).
- a latching lid 20 is snapped over this arrangement, so that the lid device according to Fig. 3e is completed.
- FIGS. 4a-4d is different from the one after the FIGS. 3a-3e in that on the cover side in the container body 11, first a cover sheet 18 is sealed, and in fact along the circumferential edge 14. Subsequently, accordingly Fig. 4b a lid device 12 with annular shoulder 16 and sealed by film hinge 26 hinged on this hinged lid 20 so that the seal between the annular shoulder 16 and the outside of the peripheral edge 14 takes place.
- the composite film from which the container body 11 is made should therefore preferably be sealable both inside and outside. Between these two sealing layers, a barrier layer, for example made of aluminum, can be arranged.
- Fig. 4d shows the can-like container 10 in the closed state, ie with hinged lid 20 in the closed position.
- the embodiment according to Fig. 5 corresponds essentially to that according to the FIGS. 3a-3e , only with the difference that the lid 20 is hinged as a hinged lid on a film hinge 26 on the neck 19 of the lid means 12. Furthermore, the embodiment differs according to Fig. 5 of the above-described embodiments still in that the opening edge 17 comprises a beak-like sprue 27.

Furthermore, it can be seen that a cover 18th is arranged on the opening edge 17 of the lid device 12, which can be withdrawn from the container opening 15 using a pull tab 22. In a known manner, a sucker 30 is now placed in the lid opening 34 and fixed by re-screwing the remaining lid ring together with the inserted sucker 30 on the thread 21 of the lid device 12 to the container 10. It should be noted that the lid opening 34 is of course dimensioned so that conventional vacuum cleaner 30 can be used with such a lid 20 according to the invention and a container 10 according to the invention.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a packaging container, in particular can-like container with a produced from composite film, cylinder or tube-like container body and a cover device, and a bottom closure, in particular floor.
The present invention is therefore based on the object to provide an alternative to rigid, made of plastic, glass or metal packaging containers open in spite of the production of flexible composite film controlled open and optionally also can be closed again. In particular, the packaging containers according to the invention should be an alternative to rigid packaging cans.
This object is achieved by the measures of claim 1.
An essential point of the invention is therefore that a dimensionally stable lid device is provided, which can be easily opened, so that a targeted access to the contents of the package is possible. Specifically, the lid means comprises an attached on the peripheral edge of the container body, sealed, a container opening limiting and relatively rigid or dimensionally stable annular shoulder and extending over the container opening and sealed to the edge thereof cover sheet. This design also allows relatively large dimensionally stable container openings, which can be closed so that the container contents are protected from contamination. In particular, the container contents can also be packaged sterile.
In a preferred embodiment extends between the annular shoulder and container opening a neck on which a lid can be snapped or screwed. In the former solution, the neck has a radially outwardly extending latching projection, in particular annular projection, or a radially inwardly extending latching notch, which correspond with complementary latching means on the lid.
In the second embodiment or alternative, a thread is impressed or cut on the outer circumference of the neck, which corresponds with a corresponding internal thread of a screw cap or a screw cap.
The lid can also be hinged as a hinged lid on the shoulder via a film hinge. Shoulder and lid are then integrally connected. In principle, of course, a multi-part Schatniergelenkverbindung is conceivable. It is also possible that the lid itself is formed kinkable. For this purpose, the lid may be formed in a section itself as a film hinge.
The hinge joint may also be biased in the closed position of the lid, either by appropriate imprinting a tension in the material or by the arrangement of a torsion spring.
Schnabel umfassen. Der Deckel ist dann entsprechend ausgebildet. The opening edge may be circular, oval, triangular or the like. With regard to the shaping here are no limits. In particular, the opening edge may comprise a sprue or beak. The lid is then designed accordingly.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if the cover film has at least one grip tab extending radially beyond the edge of the container opening. By means of this, the cover can be easily detached or removed from the opening edge of the container.
The container body is preferably made of a film which is fin-shaped or lap-seal formed into a cylindrical, Kegelstampfförmigen or tubular body. The container body may alternatively also be a section of an extruded film tube.
The container body, according to claim 1 consists of a laminate, wherein optionally also the bottom and the cover made of this laminate, in particular an aluminum laminate, with at least one seal and optionally at least one barrier layer, in particular of SiO 2 , ethylvinyl alcohol or a metal foil.
The film thickness is in the range of 50 μ to 1000 μ, in particular 100 μ to 500 μ, preferably 150 μ to 350 μ. Ultimately, the film thickness also depends on the content and size of the packaging container.
-Tube.The bottom of the packaging container can either be cup-shaped flat or formed with V or W-fold and glued or sealed edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body. Here one uses conventional techniques. Alternatively, the bottom can also be closed only by forming a transverse sealing seam corresponding to the bottom closure of a toothpaste or the like.
Preferably, however, the floor consists of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material and is formed as a stand base, so that a total of a can-like container is formed, which is characterized by a relatively stiff bottom, a relatively rigid and dimensionally stable lid device and a container body made of composite film. Such containers are relatively lightweight, easy to produce, sufficiently dimensionally stable and safe to open and, if necessary, to close again.
Furthermore, the lid can be made of a relatively rigid or dimensionally stable material, so that the lid after opening the container for other uses, such as a pad for the container, is suitable.
Preferably, the relatively rigid or dimensionally stable bottom and / or lid is produced by injection molding or deep drawing. These manufacturing processes are extremely cost effective and are particularly well suited for the production of large quantities.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the lid has a sloping lid top and thus a certain height extension. Further, the lid according to the invention may be formed frusto-conical, with the lid tapers upwards. It should be noted that a combination of the features of a sloping top cover and a taper can be combined.
The aforementioned embodiments are well suited for containers with a lid whose inclined top is available, for example, for advertising purposes and faces the viewer for better visibility. This is particularly advantageous when installing the containers on store shelves, especially since such a three-dimensionally designed lid has an unusual lid shape and thus represents a certain eye-catching feature.
Further, such a three-dimensionally designed lid with a truncated cone body and a sloping lid top can be used as a stand aid for the container after its removal from the top of the container, the container with its bottom, preferably at least partially formed approximately complementary to the truncated cone shape of the lid is put on this.
As already mentioned, the bottom can either be flat cup-shaped or formed with a V or W-fold and glued edge side with the bottom-side peripheral edge of the container body, welded or sealed. This peripheral edge, which usually serves at least as a partial footprint of the container, comes by placing the container on the lid in an inclined position, so that now the entire container has a slight inclination. Of course, the degree of filling of the container is dimensioned so that the filling material does not pour out of this slight skew, especially in a fully open container out of this.
For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the lid can be placed either on its underside, but optionally also on its top side, and the bottom of the container, when used as a stand aid, is engaged with the lid on the inside or outside, so that the container does not can slip off the slope of the lid.
It is preferred at this point that the peripheral edge of the lid has a slightly larger outer diameter than the floor or top opening edge, so that the lid is now placed with its original top down on a base and the container in an opening of the lid comes to a standstill and is held for example by a lip or bar on the now upwardly directed lid peripheral edge.
This slight inclination of the open container whose contents, especially for smaller children easier to access; In addition, it can be better seen in the container.
A similar effect can be achieved in that the container body has a different height over the circumference, so that the container opening of a horizontally standing container extends obliquely sloping. In this case, the lid is designed in such an oval shape that it is suitable for closing the container opening.
In accordance with a further embodiment of the invention, a ring section or ring which can be snapped on at least around a section of the neck of the cover device and which surrounds the neck at least partially, is connected to the cover, in particular via a film hinge.
The particular advantage of this embodiment is that the container can first be filled and sealed with a cover sheet before the lid is secured to the container by means of a ring or a ring portion at least partially surrounding the neck. Here it is of particular advantage if the lid device is made of a relatively stiff or dimensionally stable material, it being emphasized that not only the lid, but also the entire lid device can be injection-molded or deep-drawn.
The ring portion or ring are wrapped around at least a portion of the neck and thus connected to the container. Such a design Lid with the neck at least partially embracing attachment means may be removable, so that the lid can be used by the end user for various containers. In this way it is possible to close the container in a cost effective manner only with the cover. The lid with the neck at least partially embracing fastening device can thus be used by the end user, as needed, for reclosing an opened container.
Furthermore, it is within the scope of the inventive idea to connect the cover and the cover in a separable manner, wherein the cover and / or the cover are sealed or glued together, wherein at least the portions of the lid and the cover, which seal or stick together, are provided with the sealing and / or adhesiveness degrading substances of the sealing or adhesive material. In the case of the sealing material polyethylene, these sealability reducing substances may be, for example, polybutylene or polypropylene or a mixture of both, in particular with an admixture of 20% by weight of polybutylene to polypropylene. In this way it is possible to produce a lid with a weakly adhering cover film, which seals or glues on sealing the container with the opening edge of the container in a stronger manner than with the lid. When opening the container thus only the lid is initially removed, while the cover remains on the opening edge of the container, respectively its lid means and subsequently removed, for example by means of the handle tab, the cover separately and the container can thus be fully opened.
Thus, it is possible to provide one side of a cover sheet with substances which lower the sealability and / or adhesiveness, and thus lower the sealability of the cover sheet to this side while fully maintaining the sealability on the opposite side of the cover sheet that the cover has two sides with different sealability, in particular with regard to the seal strength.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the lid has an opening which can be opened outwards and, in particular, sealed, before use, preferably closed with a film. In the recess, an object, such as a spoon, knife, fork or the like. Tool or addition can be arranged. The tool may preferably be formed foldable or collapsible.
For use of the tool thus a cover sheet is removed from the top of the recess having the lid, so that the recess is accessible with the material therein. Then, the lid of the container can be opened, so that the interior of the container is accessible.
Further, after removal of the lid from the top of the container, the lid may serve as a stand aid for the container. In this variant, the lid preferably has a larger area than the container bottom and is provided with a depression into which the container bottom can be inserted in an essentially registering manner. This embodiment is particularly preferred for use for smaller children, as overturning or overturning of the container is significantly more difficult due to its now enlarged footprint. If necessary, the container itself may be provided with a cover sheet in addition to its lid.
According to a further embodiment, the neck of the lid device is provided with a thread on which a lid can be screwed. The lid has a preferably concentric with its peripheral edge attached closure sheet which can be pushed out of the top of the lid with separation from the same, so that in the top of the lid, a circular opening is formed. In this circular opening can be used in a conventional manner, a sucker for infants and / or toddlers, the dimension of the resulting opening in the lid top is of course dimensioned for commercial sucker. In this way, the container according to the invention can be used as a "vial" for infants and babies.
