- Joint assembly for actuating a flap (22), in particular a smoke exhaust flap or cupola (1) pivotal about a stationary first rotation axis (P0) from a closed position into an open position over a stationary fixture (15, 28) and back, having a linear drive element (7, 23) one end of which is connected, at a pivotal connecting point (P1) remote from the first rotation axis (P0), with the flap (22) and which, on the other hand, is pivotally provided about a first pivot axis (P2) at a supporting lever which is pivotal about a stationary second pivot axis (P3) spaced, particularly approximately below the first rotation axis (P0), from the flap (22), wherein at least one additional shift lever (11, 31) pivotally engages with one first end at the linear drive element (7, 23) remote from the pivotal connection point (P1), wherein at least one tension spring (13, 14, 24) is arranged in a plane which extends in parallel to a vertical center plane in which the drive element (7, 23) is disposed, wherein a first end of the tension spring (13, 14, 24) is in solid connection with a fixture (15, 28) at a spring mounting spot (16, 17, 33), which is further remote from the first rotation axis (P0) of the flap 22 than the first pivot axis (P2) of the linear drive element (P7, 23), and wherein a second end of the tension spring (13, 14, 24) is connected with the flap (22),

that the first end of shift lever (31) is pivotal about a third pivot axis (P5) at linear drive element (23),
that a second end of shift lever (31) is supported on a stationary rotation axis (P4) so that the first pivot axis (P2) of the linear drive element at support lever (30) and the third pivot axis (P5) about which shift lever (31) at the linear drive element (23) is pivotal, when actuating linear drive element (23), describe circular tracks of motion which intersect each other and generate a resulting rotation of the linear drive element. - Joint assembly according to claim 6,
