L'invention concerne des particules P1 qui présentent à leur surface des groupes de formule générale [O1/2SiR32-CR42-O-(CR42)b-OH] (II), dans laquelle R3 et R4 sont identiques ou différents et représentent un hydrogène ou un groupe oxy-hydrocarboné C1-C15 ou hydrocarboné C1-C20 monovalent, éventuellement substitué par -CN, -NCO, -NRx2, -COOH, -COORx, -PO(ORx)2, -halogène, -acryle, -époxy, -SH, -OH ou -CONRx2, dans lequel un ou plusieurs motifs méthylène non adjacents peuvent être remplacés par des groupes -O-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO- ou -OCOO-, -S- ou -NRx et dans lequel un ou plusieurs motifs méthine non adjacents peuvent être remplacés par des groupes -N=, -N=N- ou -P=, Rx représentant un hydrogène ou un groupe hydrocarboné C1-C10 éventuellement substitué par -CN ou halogène et b représentant un nombre entier supérieur ou égal à 1.
