Abstract

Ein Feuerschutzabschluss (1) und/oder Rauchschutzabschluss zum Verschließen eines Querschnitts eines Gebäudes besteht aus einem plattenförmigen Abschlusselement (2), das zumindest zum Teil aus einem Feuerschutzglas besteht, und einer das Abschlusselement (2) einfassenden Zarge (6), die mit einem Gebäudeteil (7) kraftschlüssig verbindbar ist. Ein unter Hitzeeinwirkung aufquellender Dämmschichtbildner ist in einem Ruhezustand au-ßerhalb des Querschnitts der Öfhung angeordnet und tritt unter Hitzeeinwirkung in den Querschnitt der Öffnung ein, um dabei einen Spaltbereich zwischen dem Abschlusselement (2) und der Zarge (6) zu verschließen. Um bei Ganzglastüren eine auch unter ästhetischen Gesichtspunkten ansprechende und recht einfache aber wirksame Konstruktion zu erhalten wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Dämmschichtbildner von einem elastischen Dichtungsprofil (38) überspannt wird.
