Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verpackung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
  • Eine Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art ist nach der DE 298 16 024 U1 bekannt. Diese umfasst zwei Verpackungselemente (Styroporhalbschalen) mit jeweils mindestens einer Ausnehmung zur Aufnahme eines zu verpackenden Gegenstandes (in diesem Fall ein Navigationssystem). Dabei sind die Verpackungselemente von einer Umhüllung umschlossen. Ferner weist eines der Verpackungselemente mindestens eine Zusatzausnehmung zur Aufnahme mindestens eines zusätzlichen Gegenstandes (länderspezifische Karten etc.) auf. Diese Zusatzausnehmung weist dabei zu einer Aussenseite der Verpackung.
  • Sinn und Zweck dieser Verpackung ist es, bereits vorverpackten, für alle Länder identischen Geräten jeweils länderspezifische Zusatzinformationen beifügen zu können. Diese Aufgabe wird zwar mit der DE 298 16 024 U1 gelöst; die Lösung weist aber den Nachteil auf, dass stets zuerst die länderspezifischen Informationen beigefügt werden müssen, bevor die finale Umhüllung angebracht werden kann.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt demgemäß die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art dahingehend weiter zu bilden, dass zusätzliche Gegenstände wie länderspezifische Informationen oder auch Teile auch noch nach der finalen Anordnung der Umhüllung in die Verpackung einbringbar sind.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird mit einer Verpackung der eingangs genannten Art durch die im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs 1 aufgeführten Merkmale gelöst.
  • Nach der Erfindung ist also vorgesehen, dass erstens der Zusatzausnehmung am Verpackungselement eine Aussparung an der Umhüllung zugeordnet ist, dass zweitens die Zusatzausnehmung auch nach verpackungsfertiger Anordnung der Umhüllung am Verpackungselement von aussen zugänglich ist und dass drittens mindestens ein zur Zusatzausnehmung form- und größenangepasstes und in dieser verrastbares Zusatzverpackungselement zur Aufnahme des zusätzlichen Gegenstandes vorgesehen ist.
  • Mit anderen Worten ausgedrückt, ermöglicht die Aussparung an der Umhüllung auch das spätere Einfügen eines Zusatzverpackungselements, wobei ein noch genauer zu erläuternder Rastmechanismus dafür sorgt, dass der zusätzliche Gegenstand trotz der Aussparung an der Umhüllung fest mit der Verpackung verbunden ist und sich von dieser nicht von selbst lösen kann.
  • Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung ergeben sich aus den abhängigen Patentansprüchen.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung einschließlich ihrer vorteilhaften Weiterbildungen gemäß der abhängigen Schutzansprüche wird nachfolgend anhand der zeichnerischen Darstellung zweier Ausführungsbeispiele näher erläutert.

  • In den Figuren 1 bis 5 ist eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung dargestellt.
  • Mit Bezug auf das Produktprogramm der Anmelderin dient diese insbesondere zur Verpackung von Heizkesseln. Bei diesen besteht nämlich das Problem, dass der Kessel an sich für alle Länder gleich ist, bestimmte Zubehörteile (Anschlussfittings etc.) aber länderspezifisch sind. Dank der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung ist es nunmehr möglich, die Heizkessel bereits vollständig und abschließend zu verpacken (im Gegensatz zur Lösung nach der vorerwähnten DE 298 16 024 U1 ) und die länderspezifischen Teile erst zu einem beliebigen, späteren Zeitpunkt hinzuzufügen. Dies ist ein großer logistischer Vorteil. Dank des noch genauer zu erläuternden Rastmechanismus' ist dabei gewährleistet, dass das Zusatzverpackungselement nach dem Einstecken in die Zusatzausnehmung 5 nicht mehr unbeabsichtigt herausfallen kann.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung besteht mindestens aus einem Verpackungselement 1 (regelmäßig zwei, beidseitig des Heizkessels) mit mindestens einer Ausnehmung 2 zur Aufnahme eines zu verpackenden Gegenstandes 3 (Heizkessel). Wie bei solchen Verpackungen üblich ist dabei das Verpackungselement 1 als Formkörper ausgebildet ist, der vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff, wie Styropor, oder aus Papier, wie Pulpmaterial, besteht. Ferner ist, wie insbesondere Figur 3 zeigt, die Ausnehmung 2 am Verpackungselement 1 formangepaßt zum Gegenstand 3 ausgebildet. Das Verpackungselement 1 ist von einer Umhüllung 4 umschlossen und weist mindestens eine Zusatzausnehmung 5 zur Aufnahme mindestens eines zusätzlichen Gegenstandes 8 auf. Diese Zusatzausnehmung 5 weist zu einer Aussenseite der Verpackung. Bezüglich der Umhüllung 4 ist, wie Figur 1 zeigt, vorgesehen, dass diese als quaderförmige Verpackungskiste ausgebildet ist und aus Pappe besteht.
  • Wesentlich für die erfindungsgemäße Verpackung ist nun, dass der Zusatzausnehmung 5 am Verpackungselement 1 eine Aussparung 6 an der Umhüllung 4 zugeordnet, die Zusatzausnehmung 5 auch nach verpackungsfertiger Anordnung der Umhüllung 4 am Verpackungselement 1 von aussen zugänglich und mindestens ein zur Zusatzausnehmung 5 form- und größenangepasstes und in dieser verrastbares Zusatzverpackungselement 7 zur Aufnahme des zusätzlichen Gegenstandes 8 vorgesehen ist.
  • Wie aus Figur 1 ersichtlich, ist vorgesehen, dass die zur Zusatzausnehmung 5 fluchtende Aussparung 6 an einer Seitenfläche der Verpackung angeordnet ist. Hierdurch ist eine Bestückung mit dem Zusatzverpackungselement 7 auch nach Erstellung einer Ladeeinheit aus mehreren Verpackungen möglich, vorausgesetzt, die Aussparungen 6 weisen jeweils nach außen.
  • Ferner sind die Zusatzausnehmung 5 und das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 jeweils etwa quaderförmig ausgebildet, so dass diese, wie Figur 2, 4 und 5 zeigt, formschlüssig zueinander passen.
  • Wie aus Figur 4 ersichtlich, ist ferner vorgesehen, dass das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 für den zusätzlichen Gegenstand 8 mindestens einen Aufnahmebereich 9 (hier zwei) aufweist, der bei in der Zusatzausnehmung 5 verrastetem Zusatzverpackungselement 7 von außen unzugänglich ist. In diesen Aufnahmebereich 9 werden die oben erwähnten länderspezifischen Zubehörteile eingelegt. Damit diese nach dem Einlegen und vor dem Einstecken des Zusatzverpackungselements 7 in die Zusatzausnehmung 5 nicht herausfallen können, ist ferner eine Abdeckung 13 (vorzugsweise in Form einer auf das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 aufgeklebten Folie) vorgesehen.
  • Alternativ kann das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 bspw. auch als rechteckiger Karton aus Pappe hergestellt sein (siehe hierzu Figur 6).
  • Bezüglich des bereits erwähnten Rastmechanismus ist vorgesehen, dass dieser aus dem Verpackungselement 1, dem Zusatzverpackungselement 7 und der Umhüllung 4 gebildet ist. Dazu ist, wie insbesondere Figur 5 zeigt, im Bereich der Aussparung 6 mindestens eine nach innen biegbare, aus einem Teil der Umhüllung gebildete Lasche 10 und am Zusatzverpackungselement 7 mindestens ein Vorsprung 11 (beim erwähnten Pappkarton: ein Schlitz) vorgesehen, an dem die Lasche 10 zur Vermeidung eines unbeabsichtigten Herausfallens nach Einstecken des Zusatzverpackungselements 7 in die Zusatzausnehmung 5 anliegt bzw. beim Pappkarton gemäß Figur 6 einsteckbar ist. Zum Einführen bzw. zum Entnehmen des Zusatzverpackungselements 7 in die bzw. aus der Zusatzausnehmung 5 am Verpackungselement 1 ist darüber hinaus im Bereich der Lasche 10 ein Freiraum 12 vorgesehen, wobei die Lasche 10 - den Rastmechanismus freigebend - vollständig bis in diesen Freiraum 12 hinein biegbar ist.
  • Wie aus Figur 1 und 5 ersichtlich, ist bei der dargestellten, bevorzugten Ausführungsform an gegenüberliegenden Seiten und zwar jeweils an den längeren Seiten der Aussparung 6 jeweils eine Lasche 10 (und am Verpackungselement 1 ein weiterer, entsprechender Freiraum 12) vorgesehen. Diese beidseitige Fixierung hat sich handhabungsmäßig als besonders vorteilhaft herausgestellt, da sie an sich einfach, aber dennoch sehr effektiv und sicher ist. Selbstverständlich können auch mehr als zwei, beispielsweise vier, solcher Laschen 10 vorgesehen sein.
  • Abschließend wird noch die praktische Handhabung der erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung am Beispiel eines Heizkessels erläutert:
  • Zunächst wird der Heizkessel mit den Verpackungselementen 1 und der Umhüllung 4 verpackt und gelagert.
  • Die länderspezifischen Zubehörteile 8 werden in den (die) Aufnahmebereich(e) 9 des Zusatzverpackungselements 7 eingelegt. Damit sie nicht herausfallen können, wird der Aufnahmebereich mit einer Folie 13 verschlossen.
  • Bei dem vorerwähnten Pappkarton gemäß Figur 6 wird dieser einfach mit einem entsprechend ausgebildeten Deckel verschlossen.
  • Steht fest, in welches Land der Heizkessel geliefert werden soll, wird das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 mit den länderspezifisch passenden Zubehörteilen zur entsprechenden Verpackung gebracht und dort in die Zusatzausnehmung 5 eingesteckt. Dabei werden die beiden Laschen 10 nach innen in die jeweils dahinter angeordneten Freiräume 12 gebogen. Dank des am Zusatzverpackungselements 7 vorgesehenen Vorsprungs 11 können die Laschen 10 bei Erreichen der Endposition des Zusatzverpackungselements 7 in der Zusatzausnehmung 5 zurückschnappen (Position in Figur 5) und dabei das Zusatzverpackungselement mit der Verpackung verrasten. In diesem Zustand kann der Heizkessel mit den länderspezifischen Zubehörteilen ausgeliefert werden.
  • Sollen nun die Zubehörteile von der Verpackung getrennt werden, kann das Zusatzverpackungselement 7 durch Eindrücken der Laschen 10 in die Freiräume 12 wieder freigegeben und herausgezogen werden. Das Einstecken und Entnehmen erfolgt dabei zerstörungsfrei und kann im Prinzip beliebig oft wiederholt werden (Verschleiß der vorzugsweise aus Pappe bestehenden Laschen vernachlässigt).

Claims (10)

  1. Verpackung, umfassend mindestens ein Verpackungselement (1) mit mindestens einer Ausnehmung (2) zur Aufnahme eines zu verpackenden Gegenstandes (3), wobei das Verpackungselement (1) von einer Umhüllung (4) umschlossen ist und mindestens eine Zusatzausnehmung (5) zur Aufnahme mindestens eines zusätzlichen Gegenstandes (8) aufweist, wobei die zusatzausnehmung (5) zu einer Aussenseite der Verpackung weist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der Zusatzausnehmung (5) am Verpackungselement (1) eine Aussparung (6) an der Umhüllung (4) zugeordnet, die Zusatzausnehmung (5) auch nach verpackungsfertiger Anordnung der Umhüllung (4) am verpackungselement (1) von aussen zugänglich und mindestens ein zur Zusatzausnehmung (5) form- und größenangepasstes und in dieser verrastbares Zusatzverpackungselement (7) zur Aufnahme des zusätzlichen Gegenstandes (B) vorgesehen ist.
  2. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die zur Zusatzausnehmung (5) fluchtende Aussparung (6) an einer Seitenfläche der Verpackung angeordnet ist.
  3. Verpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die Zusatzausnehmung (5) und das Zusatzverpackungselement (7) jeweils zueinander passend etwa quaderförmig ausgebildet sind.
  4. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass das Zusatzverpackungselement (7) für den zusätzlichen Gegenstand (8) mindestens einen Aufnahmebereich (9) aufweist, der bei in der Zusatzausnehmung (5) verrastetem zusatzverpackungselement (7) von außen unzugänglich ist,
    wobei vorzugsweise der Aufnahmebereich (9) mit einer Abdeckung (13), vorzugsweise einer Folie, versehen ist.
  5. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass ein Rastmechanismus aus dem Verpackungselement (1), dem Zusatzverpackungselement (7) und der Umhüllung (4) gebildet ist.
  6. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass im Bereich der Aussparung (6) mindestens eine nach innen biegbare, aus einem Teil der Umhüllung gebildete Lasche (10) und am Zusatzverpackungselement (7) mindestens ein Vorsprung (11) vorgesehen ist, an dem die Lasche (10) zur Vermeidung eines unbeabsichtigten Herausfallens nach Einstecken des Zusatzverpackungselements (7) in die Zusatzausnehmung (5) anliegt,
    wobei vorzugsweise zum Einführen und zum Entnehmen des zusatzverpackungselements (7) in die bzw. aus der Zusatzausnehmung (5) am Verpackungselement (1) im Bereich der Lasche (10) ein Freiraum (12) vorgesehen ist, wobei die Lasche (10) - den Rastmechanismus freigebend - bis in diesen Freiraum (12) hinein biegbar ist,
    wobei vorzugsweise an gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Aussparung (6) jeweils eine Lasche (10) vorgesehen ist,
    wobei vorzugsweise die Laschen (10) jeweils an längeren Seiten der Aussparung (6) angeordnet sind.
  7. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die Umhüllung (4) aus Pappe besteht.
  8. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die Umhüllung (4) als quaderförmige Verpackungskiste ausgebildet ist.
  9. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass das Verpackungselement (1) als Formkörper ausgebildet ist, der vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff, wie Styropor, oder aus Papier, wie Pulpmaterial, besteht.
  10. Verpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass die Ausnehmung (2) am Verpackungselement (1) formangepaßt zum Gegenstand (3) ausgebildet ist.
