Claims (8)

  1. A device for securing a covering (1) on a cylinder (2) of a rotary printing machine having at least one axis-parallel channel (3) in the cylinder (2) that forms a slot (4) for the insertion and extraction of the ends of a covering (1), and a clamping body (5) which is arranged in the channel (3) and is pressed radially in the direction of the slot (4) by means of a plurality of compression springs (6) for the securement of the covering (1), wherein arranged at the ends of the cylinder (2) there are adjusting elements (7) by way of which the clamping body (5) is guided in a radially displaceable manner in order to render possible insertion and extraction of the ends of the covering (1), wherein arranged within the channel (3) in addition to the clamping body (5) there is at least one supporting element (8) which engages into at least one recess (9) in the clamping body (5) and by means of a movement of the adjusting elements (7) effects a relative movement between the supporting element (8) and the clamping body (5), and the at least one fixing element (13) prevents an axial displacement of the clamping body (5), but renders possible a radial displacement of the clamping body (5),
