Der Unterdruckbereich ist dabei ein Bereich, in welchem mit dem Ventilator ein tieferer Druck erzeugt werden kann, als er im Bottich herrscht. Dies ermöglicht es, mit Dampf befrachtete Luft aus dem Bottich abzuziehen. Somit wird es möglich, die eingangs genannten zwei Massnahmen in apparativ einfacher Weise zu kombinieren. Kühlluft und Abluft werden gemeinsam gefördert. Zudem kommt es zu einer Durchmischung von Kühlluft und feuchter Luft vom Bottich, so dass der Feuchtegrad der Abluft reduziert werden kann. Weiter ist der Ventilator 7 in einem rückseitigen Bereich des Geschirrspülers angeordnet.
