In the present specification, all elements which are located in a powder spray coating booth below the path of movement of the coating objects to be coated and below the spray bars of coating equipment, which are also referred to as spray guns, are referred to collectively as cabin floors.

16 gebildet. At the in Fig. 1 shown embodiment, according to the invention, outer bottom flaps 2 and 4 are arranged adjacent to outer longitudinal walls 6 and 8 and rotatably disposed about a longitudinally extending axis of rotation 10 and 12, respectively. Between the outer bottom flaps 2, 4 and the outer longitudinal walls 6, 8 which are adjacent to them, in each case a longitudinally extending outer longitudinal longitudinal gap 14 or 16 is formed.

At least one further bottom part 18 is provided in the bottom area located between the two outer bottom flaps 2 and 4, which is arranged as a bottom middle part or from which one in the cabin transverse direction center. In the embodiment according to Fig. 1 an inner bottom longitudinal gap 20 or 22 is formed in each case between the outer bottom flap 2, 4 and its adjacent at least one bottom part, which latter in Fig. 1 the bottom middle part 18 is.

12 verstellbar. The width of the outer and inner bottom longitudinal gaps 14, 16, 20 and 22 is adjustable by turning the bottom flaps adjacent thereto, in the present case the outer bottom flaps 2 and 4 about their axes of rotation 10 and 12 respectively.

The one outer bottom flap 2 and the adjacent longitudinal columns 14 and 20 cover a suction channel 26, which preferably extends in the cabin longitudinal direction over the entire length of the cabin. The other outer bottom flap 4 and the adjacent longitudinal columns 16 and 22 cover a further suction channel 28, which preferably extends in the cabin longitudinal direction over the entire length of the cabin.

The two suction channels 26 and 28 are connected via fluid lines 30 and 32, respectively, to a powder suction device 34, preferably a powder recovery device. At the outlet of the suction channels 26 and 28 or in the fluid lines 30 and 32 may be a flow restrictor 36 and 38, so that increases by closing one of the two flow throttles, the suction in the relevant other fluid line and thus in the respective other suction channel 26 or 28 becomes. The powder suction device can be designed as desired. It contains, for example, a cyclone 40 for the removal of recovered excess powder 42, a suction fan 44 and an exhaust filter 46, by means of which the air extracted from the powder spray coating booth can be discharged into the free atmosphere.

22 versehen. In Fig. 1 is the middle bottom part 18 formed as walkable by a person bottom part. The walk-on bottom part 18 is on its upper side with compressed air outlets 50 for blowing compressed air 52 over the surface 54 of the accessible floor part 18 in the direction of at least one, according to Fig. 1 provided in the direction of the two inner bottom longitudinal gaps 20 and 22, respectively.

The compressed air outlets 50 can be connected to a compressed air source 56, for example a pressure regulator or another pressure adjusting element, which in turn is connected to a compressed air dispenser, for example a compressed air network or to a compressed air tank.

Fig. 1 shows the two outer bottom flaps 2 and 4 in a horizontal rotational position in which the bottom longitudinal gaps 14, 16, 20 and 22 have their smallest width. The outer bottom flaps 2 and 4 are formed such that their surface is aligned in this position with the surface 54 of the accessible floor part 18. In the spraying of coating powder sloping excess powder can fall through the bottom longitudinal gaps 14, 16, 20 and 22 in the suction channels 26 and 28.

To clean the powder spray coating booth, the bottom flaps 2 and 4 can be rotated in an inclined position, as for example in Fig. 1 is shown by a dashed line position of the bottom flap 4. As a result, a person who blows the powder spray coating booth by means of a compressed air gun or compressed air lance with compressed air, also see in the Absaugkanäle26 and 28 in order to check their cleanliness. Also, the bottom flaps 2, 4 are rotated so far that their bottom can be blown off with compressed air.

28 leiten. The embodiment of Fig. 2 is identical to that of Fig. 1 with the exception that the outer bottom flaps 2 and 4, when adjusted to the smallest width of the floor longitudinal gaps 14, 16 adjacent to them, are arranged higher than the surface 54 of the walk-on bottom part 18, wherein at least the undersides 60 of the bottom flaps 2, 4 are arranged at their inner end higher than the surface 54 of the walkable bottom part 18, so that these wing bottoms 60 lead away from the compressed air 52 blown powder into the suction channels 26 and 28 respectively.

Fig. 2 Figure 9 shows the bottom flaps 2 and 4 in solid lines in a horizontal orientation during the spray coating operation, and in dashed lines in an inclined position for cleaning the powder spray coating booth. In dar in Fig. 2 Dashed line inclined position of the bottom flaps 2 and 4 can see an operator to the bottom corners of the suction channels 26 and 28 and observe whether the suction ducts are cleaned clean. It is also possible to make the bottom flaps 2 and 4 rotatable by 180 °, so that their Bottoms are turned up and then can also be blown off with compressed air for cleaning before a color change (powder change).

78 befinden. The in the Fig. 3, 4 and 5 shown powder spray coating booth 62 is in its lower portion corresponding to Fig. 1 and 2 trained or with a substructure after the Fig. 1 or 2 Mistake. Coating objects 64 are transportable longitudinally from the overhead conveyor 66 in the direction of travel 68, through the powder spray coating booth 62, and sprayed therein by powder guns 70 through automatic spray guns. Outside the spray booth, there may be a freehand spray booth 76 and 78, respectively, at their entrances and exits 72 and 74, respectively.

As the 6, 7, 8 and 9 show the bottom flaps 2 and 4 of the spray coating booth 62 by a drive 80 in various rotational positions about a longitudinal axis extending in the cabin rotation axis 10 and 12 rotatable. Alternatively it can be provided for each bottom flap own drive or be provided for all bottom flaps a common drive. The drive 80 may be an electric or pneumatic motor or hydraulic motor, preferably a cylinder with a plunger 82 that can be moved back and forth to rotate the respective bottom flap 2 and / or 4 in either direction.

The bottom flaps 2 and 4 may also be provided on their upper side with compressed air outlets 50 for blowing compressed air into one or the other adjacent Bodenlänggspalte 14, 16, 20 and 22. Usually, however, compressed air outlets 50 on the accessible floor part 18 for cleaning also the surfaces of Bottom flaps 2 and 4.

The compressed air can be supplied to the compressed air outlets 50 of the bottom flaps 2 and 4 preferably by a compressed air path 84 which extends axially to the axis of rotation 10 and 12 in the respective bottom flap 2 and 4 and within the bottom flap transverse to the axis of rotation to the top of this bottom flap ,

In the powder spray coating booth is located in its lower region, which may be formed as a substructure of the cabin, at least one, preferably at both longitudinal ends of a suction opening 92, 94, 96, 98 in the cabin floor via one of the suction channels 26 and 28. These suction are preferably adjacent to the end faces of the outer bottom flaps 2, 4 formed lying opposite this, as Fig. 8 schematically shows.

According to the in FIGS. 12 and 13 1, the suction openings may be formed instead of the front side of the bottom flaps 2, 4 or in addition, at the longitudinal ends of the accessible middle bottom part 18, as shown in Fig. 13 for suction openings 100 and 102 is shown. The FIGS. 12 and 13 show a cylindrical cross-section in the horizontal cross-section cabin, while the other figures show a rectangular in horizontal cross-section cabin.

Fig. 14 shows one of the Fig. 2 similar embodiment with the exception that in Fig. 14 the inner flap part 112 or 114 of the two bottom flaps 2 and 4 overlaps the adjacent bottom part 18 when the bottom flaps 2 and 4 are set to a smallest width of the bottom longitudinal gaps 14, 16, 20 and 22. Thereby, the powder suction effect is increased in the horizontal direction but reduced in the vertical direction to the coating objects. This results in a reduction in the disturbance of the spray coating cloud which is sprayed onto the coating objects.

At the in Fig. 10 shown embodiment of the lower portion or a substructure of a powder spray coating booth according to the invention, in turn, the bottom middle part is formed as the walk-in bottom part 18. Between it and the two outer bottom flaps 2 and 4, a two-leaf inner bottom flap 122 and 124 is respectively arranged and this is rotatably arranged respectively about a longitudinal axis 132 and 134 respectively. The inner bottom flaps 122, 124 define on their outer side together with the outer bottom flaps 2 and 4, the inner longitudinal column 20 and 22. Further limit the inner bottom flaps 122 and 124 on its inside together with the walk-bottom portion 18 innermost Bottom longitudinal gaps 136 and 138, respectively. The two bottom flaps 2 and 122 and the bottom longitudinal gaps 14, 20 and 136 which they define cover the one suction channel 26. The other two bottom flaps 4, 124 and the bottom longitudinal gaps 16, 22 and 138 bordered therefrom cover the other Suction channel 28.

Fig. 11 FIG. 12 schematically illustrates another embodiment of a lower portion or substructure of a powder spray coating booth, in which the bottom center portion is a center bottom flap 302 rotatably disposed about a longitudinally extending axis of rotation 310. Between the middle bottom flap 302 and the two outer bottom flaps 2 and 4, a walkable by persons floor 318 and 418 is arranged, which forms on its inside together with the middle bottom flap 302 an innermost bottom longitudinal gap 336 and 338 and which together on its outside each with the respective outer bottom flap 2 and 4, one of the inner bottom longitudinal gaps 20 and 22 limited. The middle bottom flap 302 and the bottom longitudinal gaps 336 and 338 delimited by it cover a suction channel 326.

In all embodiments of the invention, the suction channels 26, 28 or 26, 28, 326 are connected to a common powder suction device 34, as is Fig. 1 shows. However, it is also possible to connect the suction channels separately from each other to their own Pulverabsaugvorrichtungen.

Further, in all embodiments of the invention, it is possible to provide the transverse direction of the center of the cabin or the substructure farther floor longitudinal gaps with a greater gap width than lying closer to the cabin center bottom longitudinal gaps, thereby to achieve more suction in the cabin edge area than the cabin center out.

Furthermore, in all embodiments of the invention it is also possible to arrange the individual floor parts 2, 4, 18, 302, 318, 418 in such a way that from the middle of the cabin in the transverse direction to the cabin side walls, the floor parts are arranged increasingly higher stepwise, or vice versa stepwise increasingly descending.
