Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel mit Schachtelteil, Deckel und Kragen, insbesondere für eine Zigarettengruppe als Packungsinhalt, wobei der im Schachtelteil fixierte Kragen eine Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenlappen aufweist, die einer Schachtel-Vorderwand bzw. Schachtel-Seitenwänden zugekehrt sind.
  • Klappschachteln gehören zu den weltweit verbreiteten Zigarettenpackungen. Siehe als Beispiel das Dokument GB-A-1.086.725 . Der konstruktive Aufbau dieses Packungstyps ist durch einen (unteren) Schachtelteil, einen Deckel und durch einen üblicherweise aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt bestehen den Kragen bestimmt. Der Deckel ist im Bereich einer Schachtel-Rückwand bzw. einer Deckel-Rückwand mit dem Schachtelteil über ein quergerichtetes Liniengelenk verbunden. Der Kragen ist so im Schachtelteil befestigt, dass die Kragen-Vorderwand an der Schachtel-Vorderwand und die Kragen-Seitenlappen an den Schachtel-Seitenwänden anliegen. Der Packungsinhalt ist ein den Innenraum der Klappschachtel ausfüllender Zigarettenblock, also eine geordnete Zigarettengruppe, die von einem Innenzuschnitt aus Papier oder Stanniol umgeben ist.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine neue Form der Klappschachtel für insbesondere Zigaretten vorzuschlagen, die eine bessere Abstimmung zwischen Packung und Packungsinhalt gewährleistet, insbesondere eine Anpassung an unterschiedliche Abmessungen des Packungsinhalts.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel durch folgende Merkmale gekennzeichnet:
    1. a) die Kragen-Seitenlappen sind mit Abstand von den Schachtel-Seitenwänden angeordnet,
    2. b) die Kragen-Seitenlappen sind mit an deren Rändern angeordneten Stützlaschen an der Innenseite der Schachtel-Seitenwand abgestützt.
  • Der Packungsinhalt - Zigarettenblock - ist durch den im Querschnitt U-förmigen Kragen umgeben. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein im Verhältnis zu den Außenabmessungen der Klappschachtel reduzierter, verfügbarer Innenraum für den Packungsinhalt geschaffen durch eine besondere Ausbildung und Positionierung des Kragens. Dessen Kragen-Seitenlappen sind mit Abstand von den Schachtel-Seitenwänden angeordnet und auf diesen frontseitig und rückseitig abgestützt.
  • Besonders vorteilhaft ist eine Ausführung, bei der eine frontseitige Stützlasche durch insbesondere U-förmige Stanzung als Teilbereich des Kragen-Seitenlappens ausgebildet ist und sich in der Ebene der Kragen-Vorderwand erstreckt. Rückseitige Stützlaschen sind durch Abwinkeln eines Randstreifens des Kragen-Seitenlappens gebildet, insbesondere in einer Schrägstellung, wobei ein freier Rand der Stützlasche zentrierend in eine rückseitige, aufrechte Packungsecke eintritt.
  • Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Klappschachtel hat der Zigarettenblock eine geringere Breite als die Klappschachtel. Insbesondere zu beiden Seiten des Zigarettenblocks entsteht ein aufrechter Hohlraum, der auch zur Aufnahme von Packungsbeigaben, z. B. von Druckträgern, eingesetzt werden kann.
  • Weitere Besonderheiten der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels einer Klappschachtel näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Das in den Zeichnungen dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel betrifft eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten 10. Eine Zigarettengruppe 11 ist von einem Innenzuschnitt umgeben und bildet so einen annähernd quaderförmigen Zigarettenblock 12 als Packungsinhalt.
  • Die Klappschachtel besteht aus einem (unteren) Schachtelteil 13, einem Deckel 14 und einem Kragen 15. Schachtelteil 13 und Deckel 14 bestehen aus einem gemeinsamen, einstückigen Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 3. Dieser bildet durch entsprechende vorgeprägte Faltlinien eine Schachtel-Vorderwand 16, eine Bodenwand 17, eine Schachtel-Rückwand 18, eine Deckel-Rückwand 19, eine Stirnwand 20 und eine Deckel-Vorderwand 21. An den vorgenannten Packungswänden bzw. Zuschnittbereichen sind Schachtel-Seitenlappen 22, 23 und Deckel-Seitenlappen 24, 25 angebracht. Diese bilden bei wechselseitiger Teilüberdeckung Schachtel-Seitenwände 26 und Deckel-Seitenwände 27.
  • Der Kragen 15 besteht aus Kragen-Vorderwand 28 und Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30. An der Oberseite bildet die Kragen-Vorderwand 28 eine an sich übliche Ausnehmung 31. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite entsteht eine Zunge 32 gleicher Form und Abmessung.
  • Kragen-Vorderwand 28 einerseits und Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 andererseits sind durch aufrechte Faltlinien 33 voneinander abgegrenzt. Diese sind durch Veränderung des Materials des Kragens gebildet, insbesondere durch Prägen bzw., wie dargestellt, durch eine Reihe von Stanzschnitten. Dadurch entstehen nach U-förmiger Faltung des Kragens scharfe, aufrechte Kragenkanten im Bereich dieser Faltlinien 33.
  • Der gefaltete Kragen 15 umgibt den Zigarettenblock 12, derart, dass die Kragen-Vorderwand 28 an einer Frontseite und die Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 jeweils an schmalen Seitenflächen des Zigarettenblocks 12 anliegen (Fig. 5, Fig. 6). Der Kragen ist insbesondere durch Klebung im Schachtelteil 13 fixiert, derart, dass eine obere Begrenzung des Kragens 15 im Wesentlichen bündig mit dem Zigarettenblock 12 abschließt.
  • Der Packungsinhalt, nämlich der Zigarettenblock 12, ist mit geringere Breite ausgebildet als die (Außen-)Abmessungen der Klappschachtel. Zur Anpassung an den Zigarettenblock 12 sind die Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 mit Abstand von der Innenseite der Seitenwände 26, 27 positioniert, und zwar parallel zu diesen. Es entsteht bei symmetrischer Anordnung und Ausbildung des Kragens 15 zu beiden Seiten ein aufrechter Hohlraum 34 zwischen den Seitenwänden 26, 27 einerseits und den Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 andererseits. Der Hohlraum kann für die Aufnahme von Packungsbeigaben verwendet werden, insbesondere für die Unterbringung von (gefalteten) Druckträgern mit Informationen, Werbung etc.
  • Der Kragen 15 ist innerhalb der Klappschachtel ausgerichtet und abgestützt. Frontseitig, nämlich benachbart zur Schachtel-Vorderwand 16, weist der Kragen 15 seitwärts gerichtete Stützlappen 35, 36 auf. Diese sind durch den Kragen 15 selbst gebildet, und zwar durch eine U- bzw. C-förmige Stanzung 37. Diese ist in bestimmter Relativstellung zur Faltlinie 33 positioniert, nämlich derart, dass die sich im Wesentlichen im Bereich der Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 erstreckenden Stützlappen 35, 36 gebildet sind. Bogenförmige Schenkel der Stanzung 37 enden in Verlängerung der Faltlinie 33. Dies hat zur Folge, dass beim U-förmigen Umfalten der Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 die Stützlappen 35, 36 in der Ursprungsstellung, nämlich ausgerichtet in der Ebene der Kragen-Vorderwand 28, verharren und so automatisch die Stützstellung gemäß Fig. 5 einnehmen. Die Abmessung der Stanzung 37 und damit der Stützlappen 35, 36 ist so gewählt, dass sich Stützränder 38 an der Schachtel-Seitenwand 26 abstützen, und zwar in einem aufrechten Spalt zwischen dem innenliegenden Schachtel-Seitenlappen 23 und der Schachtel-Vorderwand 16. Die Klappschachtel bzw. der Schachtelteil 13 bildet hier eine aufrechte Vorderecke 39.
  • Eine Besonderheit besteht darin, dass die Stanzung 37 in einem unteren Bereich des Kragens 15 angeordnet ist, derart, dass der Stützlappen 35, 36 vorzugsweise insgesamt durch die Schachtel-Vorderwand 16 abgedeckt ist, also unterhalb eines oberen Randes derselben enden (Fig. 1).
  • Auch rückseitig ist der Kragen 15 innerhalb der Klappschachtel justiert. Auch hier bilden die Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 Stützlappen, nämlich Randlappen 40, 41. Ein Stützrand 43 der Randlappen 40, 41 tritt in eine rückseitige Packungsecke 42 ein (Fig. 5, Fig. 6). Die Randlappen 40, 41 als Stützmittel sind schräg gerichtet, insbesondere unter einem Winkel von (etwa) 45°. Die Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 sind zu diesem Zweck mit jeweils einer zusätzlichen Faltlinie 44 versehen, insbesondere durch Stanzung. Durch diese werden die Randlappen 40 definiert, derart, dass durch entsprechende Faltung des Kragens 15 die Randlappen 40, 41 die schräg gerichtete, justierende Stützstellung einnehmen. Der Kragen 15 ist dadurch insgesamt stabil innerhalb der Klappschachtel positionier, und zwar ohne vollflächige Anlage der Kragen-Seitenlappen 29, 30 an den Seitenwänden.
  • Der Kragen 15 ist durch die dargestellte und beschriebene Gestaltung an unterschiedliche Abmessungen des Packungsinhalts anpassbar bei vorgegebenen Außenabmessungen. Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel (Fig. 5, Fig. 6) ist eine Zigarettengruppe 11 mit zwölf Zigaretten 10 vorgesehen. Diese sind in einer besonderen Formation positioniert, nämlich mit acht Zigaretten jeweils paarweise nebeneinanderliegend und mit jeweils zwei in "Sattellage" mittig positionierten Einzelzigaretten. Diese werden beidseitig von je zwei nebeneinanderliegenden Zigaretten gestützt.
  • Die Ausgestaltung bzw. Anordnung des Kragens 15 kann auch so gewählt werden, dass der Zigarettenblock 12 außermittig, versetzt innerhalb der Klappschachtel angeordnet ist, im Extremfalle derart, dass nur an einer Seite ein Hohlraum 34 gebildet ist.
  • Die Klappschachtel ist mit einer an sich bekannten Schließhilfe versehen, bei der ein Deckel-Innenlappen 45 aufgrund besonderer Kontur von Seitenrändern (Fig. 3) in Schließstellung eine Verhakung mit der Kragen-Vorderwand 28 bewirkt, und zwar in einem Bereich neben der Ausnehmung 31. Der Deckel-Innenlappen ist in diesem Bereich mit reduzierter Breite ausgebildet unter Anpassung an die geringere Breite der Kragen-Vorderwand 28.

Claims (8)

  1. Klappschachtel mit Schachtelteil (13), Deckel (14) und Kragen (15), insbesondere für eine Zigarettengruppe (11) bzw. einen Zigarettenblock (12) als Packungsinhalt, wobei der im Schachtelteil (13) fixierte Kragen (15) eine Kragen-Vorderwand (28) und Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) aufweist, die einer Schachtel-Vorderwand (16) bzw. Schachtel-Seitenwänden (26) zugekehrt sind, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
    a) die Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) sind mit Abstand von den Schachtel-Seitenwänden (26) angeordnet,
    b) die Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) sind mit an deren Rändern angeordneten Stützlappen (35, 36; 40, 41) an der Innenseite der Schachtel-Seitenwand (26) abgestützt.
  2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) mit den Stützlappen (35, 36; 40, 41) (etwa) im Bereich von aufrechten Packungskanten bzw. inneren Packungsecken (39, 42) abgestützt sind, insbesondere in rechtwinkligen aufrechten Packungsecken.
  3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) an ihrem freien, einer Schachtel-Rückwand (18) zugekehrten Seite jeweils einen durch Abwinkeln gebildeten Randlappen (40, 41) als Stützlappen aufweisen, der mit einem Stützrand (43) an der Schachtel-Seitenwand (26) bzw. in einer rückseitigen Packungsecke (42) abgestützt ist.
  4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 3 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die als Stützlappen dienenden Randlappen (40, 41) unter einem stumpfen Winkel, schräg zu den Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) gerichtet sind, vorzugsweise unter einem Winkel von etwa 45°.
  5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass frontseitige Stützlappen (35, 36) in der Ebene der Kragen-Vorderwand (28) einerseits und die rückseitigen Stützlappen, nämlich Randlappen (40, 41), hinsichtlich der Abmessungen so aufeinander abgestimmt sind, dass die Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) - etwa - parallel zur Schachtel-Seitenwand (26) bzw. Deckel- Seitenwand (27) gerichtet sind.
  6. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 5 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die frontseitigen Stützlappen (35, 36) durch C- bzw. U-förmige Stanzung (37) im Bereich der Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) gebildet sind und sich quer zur Ebene der Kragen-Seitenlappen (29, 30) in Stützstellung erstrecken.
  7. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 2 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die frontseitigen Stützlappen (35, 36) in einen aufrechten Spalt eintreten, der im Bereich der Vorderecke (39) durch Schachtel-Vorderwand (16) bzw. Deckel-Innenlappen (45) einerseits und durch einen freien Rand eines innen liegenden Schachtel-Seitenlappens (23) bzw. eines innen liegenden Deckel-Seitenlappens (24) andererseits begrenzt ist.
  8. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 5 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens die frontseitigen Stützlappen (35, 36) vollständig innerhalb des Schachtelteils (13) angeordnet sind.
