Claims (8)

  1. Matériau d'enveloppe pour articles à fumer, contenant comme matière de charge des carbonates de calcium ayant différentes tailles de particules, dans lequel l'un des carbonates de calcium a une taille de particules de 0,1 à 2 µm et est présent en une quantité de 51 à 99%, ramenée à la teneur totale en matières de charge de carbonate de calcium, et un autre carbonate de calcium a une taille de particules de 3,5 à 10 µm et est présent en une quantité de 1 à 49%, ramenée à la teneur totale en matières de charge de carbonate de calcium.
  2. Matériau d'enveloppe pour articles à fumer selon la revendication 1, qui est un papier à cigarettes.
  3. Matériau d'enveloppe pour articles à fumer selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, contenant en plus une ou plusieurs autres matières de charge choisies dans le groupe constitué par le carbonate de calcium d'une autre taille de particules, le dioxyde de titane, l'oxyde de magnésium, le kaolin et/ou le talc.
  7. Procédé de réduction de la teneur en monoxyde de carbone de la fumée du tabac, dans lequel des matières de charge de carbonates de calcium de différentes tailles de particules sont incorporées selon un rapport de mélange approprié dans un matériau d'enveloppe pour articles à fumer en maintenant la perméabilité à l'air du matériau d'enveloppe pour articles à fumer, l'un des carbonates de calcium ayant une taille de particules de 0,1 à 2 µm et étant incorporé en une quantité de 51 à 99%, ramenée à la teneur totale en matières de charge à base de carbonate de calcium, et un autre carbonate de calcium ayant une taille de particules de 3,5 à 10 µm et étant incorporé en une quantité de 1 à 49%, ramenée à la teneur totale en matières de charge à base de carbonate de calcium.
