Definitions

  • the invention relates to a skirting board for bridging a joint between two adjacent floor coverings according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a floor profile arrangement is known in which a base profile with two upright legs receives an attached cover profile, which holds height adjustable with two cross-webs on the two upright legs.
  • the webs are formed slightly longer at the bottom of the cover.
  • recesses or openings in the side arms of the soil profile are provided, which absorb the excess lengths. Swiveling the cover profile with different thickness floor coverings are not possible.
  • the cover profile engages with its downwardly directed web in a groove of a pivot axis, with which it can be pivoted to the different deck heights.
  • the height adjustment but is possible only in the groove depth of the pivot axis. In this respect, the height adjustment is significantly limited.
  • the doubly applied webs on the cover profile require wide joints between the adjacent floor coverings, especially when two different thicknesses are adjacent and the cover must be very inclined. Due to the low pivot point and the webs that are wide apart, the covering profile is displaced laterally during pivoting and in many cases the floor covering is not adequately grasped, so that the base profile must be loosened and repositioned on the floor after it has been moved. Of the provided recesses, the soil profile is weakened considerably, especially in the joint area.
  • the invention is based on the object with a hinged cover profile over the base profile to compensate for large differences in height with different strong floor cover bum-free, and hold the pads as close as possible to each other.
  • the extended webs must be adapted to these lengths, for safety reasons it is advantageous if the Characteristics of claim 4 are used. It is not excluded that the cover profile relative to the base profile and / or the joint rail shifts in the length direction something. Even then, the bridge should be able to reach through the recesses to arrest the cover profile quite low above the ground and the covering gripping.
  • the features of claim 5 are utilized.
  • the cover profile can be pulled relatively far out of the hinge rail by the greater depths of the webs, wherein the web ends still have enough support in the slide through the seat on Gleitpassung and do not tilt or even kink.
  • the webs with the greater depths are only partially provided. But they are so long enough.
  • the joint rail optionally made of solid material or as a sleeve.
  • the groove walls are completely present, and: the bridge of the cover profile finds enough. Holds when it ends in the groove.
  • the sleeve-like design will be preferred to use when the web of the cover fully engages through the hinge rail.
  • the flared edge of the groove of the sleeve-like hinge rail provides an extension for the support of the web of the cover, because this additional sidewalls are created to which the web can be supported on both sides.
  • the integrally formed tooth rib holds the inserted web still firmly if he only grasps with a small length between the edge ends.
  • the tooth ribs grip from both sides of the web in solid support in the required height, which may be from the outer end to below the laterally projecting covering wings of the cover. It is thus possible a large height compensation with a part.
  • the seat and the hold of the cover is even better and firmer, when the web is pushed a little further into the hinge rail, the features of claim 8 are preferably used.
  • the second toothed rib which is directed obliquely inwards and downwards, the web is double-grasped and thus has no possibility to release itself.
  • the cover profile should align itself in its inclined position substantially by supporting its wing edges on the floor covering. As long as the edges have not yet reached the flooring, it is favorable if the cover does not bend too much to remain in the swivel range when placing. Practice has also shown that a pivoting of 20 ° is sufficient for adapting to the different thickness floor coverings.
  • the surface structure may be a fine grain, with a stop with almost continuous displacement is possible. But it is also thought of a mutual grooving or teeth to get a favorable grip for the cover, which can also be readjusted if it became loose over time and the determination is made only on the surface structure. After the sleeve-like hinge rail is already equipped with tooth ribs, they have a firm grip on the web of the cover when the bridge has a striking surface structure.
  • the fixed seat for the cover increases in any altitude when the features of claim 11 are used. It is the aim of the invention to detect a large height difference of floor coverings, without using additional parts or even replacement parts. Consequently, it is advantageous if the web of the cover is as long as possible, thereby far out of the groove of the hinge rail can be pulled out and still finds sufficient support in order to hold the floor covering. On the other hand, the bridge should be pushed very deeply through the hinge rail to the ground to capture thin-walled coverings and even then to find even in the Gelenkschienennut sufficient support. This can be achieved if the features of Anspuch 11 are used.
  • the skirting 1 consists of a basic profile 2, which has a side flange 3, with which it is fixed to the ground. Furthermore, two molded, upwardly directed legs 4 extend from the basic profile 2, which are rounded on the inside and serve as a joint bearing 5.
  • a hinge rail 7 is rotatably supported, this hinge rail 7 is laterally adapted to the curves of the inner surfaces 6 of the legs 4 and has an upwardly open groove 8, in which a web 9 a Cover profile 10 engages, which is integrally formed on the underside.
  • the cover 10 shows two side wings 11, one of which could be folded when the cover 10 is used as a boundary.
  • the cover 10 covers the floor coverings, not shown, which form a joint at the joint, which is bridged by the cover 10.
  • the web 9 engages in the groove 8 of the hinge rail 7 in order to hold or at least give the cover 10 a good guide in the vertical direction when it is pressed onto the floor covering.
  • the cover 10 can be pressed deeper on the base profile 2 and the web 9 is not seated at the bottom of the groove 8 in the hinge rail 7, the hinge rail 7 is formed in sections completely penetrated by the groove 8.
  • the sweeping or cut-out sections are labeled 13.
  • the web 9 shows at these sections openings 13 extended depths 14, which are slightly shorter than the sectional openings 13 are formed in the longitudinal direction of the skirting board 1. This ensures that the extended depths 14 still reach through the apertures 13 even if they should be slightly displaced in the longitudinal direction. Due to the greater depth 14, the webs 9 can be further pulled out of the groove 8 and hold stronger floor coverings, the webs 9 still find enough hold in the groove 8.
  • the web 9 was given in sections an even greater depth 14. This was also the basic profile 2 at the bottom flange 15 below the hinge rail 7 and that provided directly below the sectional openings 13 with corresponding cutouts 16. These cutouts 16 in the basic profile 2 are the Fig. 2 refer to. The same parts are numbered identically in all figures. In Fig. 2 the web 9 of the cover 10 is in the uppermost position and is held by the last elevation of the grooves 17 of the thus-lined groove 8.
  • the web 9 could additionally be provided by the cover 10 cross-bolt not shown, at this point the web 9 would be recessed, so that the screw enough Handle in the drive channel finds. It is important that the web 9 centrally through the joint, so joint rail 7 and spherical plain bearings 5 and further through the basic profile 2 summarizes, so as to come with the web 9 at the lowest down and remain in a confined space.
  • Fig. 3 is the same skirting 1 as in Fig. 2 to see, but in which the cover 10 is completely depressed, so that the web 9 summarizes with its extended depth 14 totally by the hinge rail 7 and further through the cutout 16 of the base section 2 to the bottom 19.
  • the cover 10 sits on the upstanding legs 4 of the base profile 2 or on the upper edges 7 'of the hinge rail 7, if they protrude from the hinge bearing 5.
  • the web 9 is formed so wide that it sits with its smooth wall in the groove on sliding fit and can be moved without resistance.
  • the cover profile 10 gets its hold from a penetrating screw in the groove 8 and in the drive channel.
  • the cutout 16 is cut in the base profile 2 so broad that the crossbar 9 through the hinge rail 9 can pivot freely with its extended depth 14 at least 20 ° and thereby brings the cover 10 in the desired angle to the edges 12 of the wing 11 on the floor coverings on both sides and can hold them.
  • the cover 10 is reinforced on its underside on each wing 11 with a stiffening rib 29. This stiffening rib 29 provides the cover profile 19 greater rigidity, even if the wall thickness of the wing 11 has only 1.5 mm.
  • Fig. 4 is the floor strip 1 exploded in exploded view and additionally cut longitudinally.
  • the recesses 16, which are cut out in sections from the base flange 15, can be seen very well in the basic profile 2.
  • the provided in the hinge rail 7 groove 8 has a surface structure 18 of longitudinal grooves, in which the web 9 of the cover 10 slides past when it is inserted into the groove 8.
  • the penetrating openings 13 are provided by the groove 8 in the hinge rail 7, through which the extended depths 14 engage, which are also provided in sections as the openings 13 and recesses 16.
  • the extended depths 14 extend over a shorter portion in the longitudinal direction than the sections provided openings 13 and recesses 16, which are arranged substantially one above the other.
  • the extended depths 14 are provided so long and at sufficient intervals that in the uppermost position according to Fig. 2 the cover 10 with its web 9 and its depth 14 still finds enough hold in the groove 8 of the hinge rail 7.
  • the hinge rail 7 is formed, which is discussed in more detail in the next figure.
  • the openings 13 and the recesses 16 are provided so that the webs 9 with their depths 14 can fully engage through the joint to the bottom 19 so as to lose height when the web 9 still has a large depth.
  • the depths 14 have in the strip longitudinal direction a shorter length 20 than the apertures 13 with their length 21 in the hinge rail 7 and the recesses 16 with their length 22 in the base profile 2, wherein the lengths 21 and 22 are equal to each other.
  • the hinge rail 7 is shown as a sleeve, which is preferably made of plastic with a hardness of about 80 to 90 shore.
  • This sleeve shape has the required rounded surfaces 23 on the side with which it is rotatably held in the joint bearing 5 of the inner surfaces 6 of the basic profile leg 4.
  • the sleeve-like hinge rail 7 is provided with a slot or groove 8 for receiving the web 9 of the cover 10, the edge ends 24 are pulled upwards. These edge ends 24 have as a conclusion in each case a directed into the joint 8 tooth rib 25, which ensures a sufficient fixing of the web 9.
  • a further inwardly directed toothed rib 26 is formed below the toothed rib 25 at a short distance like a sawtooth.
  • the lower bottom 27 of the sleeve-like hinge rail 7 is partially provided with openings 13 so that the depths 14 of the web 9 can penetrate the deeper penetration without resistance, and the cover 10 loses height.
  • Fig. 7 is the assembly of a skirting board 1 with a sleeve-like hinge rail 7 to see.
  • the basic profile 2 is fixed with its side flange 3 on the ground.
  • the sleeve-like hinge rail 7 is rotatably mounted, which are held with their rounded side surfaces in the inner surfaces 6 of the hinge bearing 5.
  • the section-wise cutout 16 which is wider for the pivot region of the web 9 is formed. Over the cutout 16, the breakthrough 13 for the passage of the web 9 or its extended depth 14 is provided in the sleeve-like hinge rail 7.
  • the cover 10 is inserted with its integrally formed on the bottom web 9 and in particular with the sectionally extended depth 14 in the groove 8 of the hinge rail 7.
  • the integrally formed on the raised edge end 24 tooth rib 25 engages in the ribbed surface structure 18 of the depth 14 and is already one firm hold. In this position, the highest hold of the cover 10 is secured. It is easy to imagine that the cover 10 can be completely depressed until it rests with its edges 12 of the covering wings 11 on the floor coverings, not shown. With different levels of flooring, the cover 10 will pivot with the hinge rail 7 until both edges 12 contact the floor covering to have.
  • the web 9 will penetrate very far into the groove 8 of the hinge rail 7 and in the lowest position, the depths 14 through the openings 13 and cutouts 16 to the bottom 19, in which case the wings on the upper end 28 of the legs 4 come to rest.
  • the cover profile 10 is already seated on these edge ends 24 in the lowermost position, and the sectional depths 14 abut the floor 19.
  • the outermost layer settles Edge end 24 of the longitudinal groove 8 of the hinge rail 7 to the upper end 28 of the legs 4 of the base section 2 and uses this as a stop.
