  • the paper roll rotates about its longitudinal axis, with the sleeve rubbing against the outer wall of the paper roll holder. As a result, fragrance is released and released into the surrounding air.
  • a toilet paper roll holder which comprises a zy ⁇ -cylindrical body which is inserted into a sleeve on which the Toi ⁇ lettenpapier is wound. Inside the toilet paper roll holder are crystals that emit a fragrance. This fragrance escapes through openings that are provided in the end walls of the paper roll holder and thus refreshes the room air.
  • a disadvantage of the paper roll holders according to the prior art is that when removing paper from the paper roll, which is held on the paper roll holder, although increasingly perfume is dispensed from the paper roll holder, but the additional fragrance konkon in the vicinity of the paper roll holder ⁇ centered.
  • the fragrance passes from there only by diffusion or convection in the surrounding room air to reach the user at some distance als ⁇ embarrassedden; the operation of the paper roll holder itself does not contribute significantly to the fragrance transport.
  • the paper roll holder according to the prior art are also often expensive to produce and therefore relatively expensive.
  • the object of the present invention to propose a paper roll holder, a paper roll holding device, a system and a use which overcome this disadvantage in the prior art.
  • the invention solves the problem for a paper roll holder of the above-mentioned type in that a movable, extending along the longitudinal axis of the paper roll holder membrane element is arranged in the interior, which divides the interior into two chambers, wherein the membrane element is arranged net net that In the operating state during rotation of the paper roll holder is moved about its longitudinal axis so that the volumes of the chambers defined by the Membran ⁇ element change in opposite directions, and wherein the chambers have ge ⁇ possibly closable connection openings for air exchange with the environment.

  • a membrane element is understood to be a flexible component whose air permeability is so low that, when an air pressure difference of 1 kPas is present on the membrane element, the air flow through the membrane element is less than 10 1 per square meter per second.
  • the sum of the volumes of the two chambers in operation is constant, ie the volume of one chamber decreases, if the other increases, and vice versa. It is not necessary that both chambers are sealed against each other.
  • An advantage of the invention (in its various aspects) is that odorant can be promoted by an active pumping process. As a result, this fragrance quickly passes from the area of the paper roll holder into the surrounding room air in comparison with the referenced prior art solutions.
  • the pumping power ie the volume flow delivered per unit of time, increases as the rotational speed of the paper roll holder increases.
  • Another advantage is that the pumping effect is achieved by structurally simple means. This allows a simple and therefore cost-effective production of the paper roll holder according to the invention, so that the production is possible as a disposable article.
  • the paper roll holder (or des ⁇ sen basic body) has the outer shape of a straight prism whose base is preferably a regular polygon or a circle.
  • a straight prism consists of two mutually parallel base surfaces and perpendicular to these base surfaces extending side surfaces or a perpendicular to die ⁇ sen base surfaces extending lateral surface, if it is at the base is a circle or an ellipse.
  • Conventional paper rolls, in particular toilet paper rolls are generally commercially available on a hollow cylindrical sleeve.
  • a paper roll holder whose outer shape is a straight prism is particularly easy to insert into such a sleeve.

This ensures that the membrane element fully utilizes the available width of the inner space of the paper roll holder. If the inner space is delimited, for example, by a hollow cylinder, then the contact points extend in a plane with the longitudinal axis of the hollow cylinder. In this advantageous embodiment, when the plane in which the contact points lie extends vertically, the membrane element divides the interior into two (at least approximately) equally large chambers (compare FIG. 7c below).
