Abstract

A velvet ribbon with double-sided nap is produced by weaving three superimposed webs (8, 10, 12) connected to each other by nap threads (14). The nap threads (14) of the above triple web are separated between the middle web (8) and a first web (10) in a first cutting device (36, 36a). In a second cutting device (46, 46a) the nap threads between the middle web (8) and the second web (12) are separated to give the middle web as a double-sided velvet ribbon (8). The corresponding ribbon weaving machine (2) comprises three superimposed weaving points (31) each with a weft introduction body and a common shedding device (16). A first cutting device (36) for cutting the nap threads (14a) between the middle web (8) and a first web (12) and a second cutting device (46) for cutting the nap threads (14b) between the middle web (8) and the second web (10) are provided afterwards. The velvet ribbon (8) produced thus has a nap (56, 58) on both sides.

Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Samtbandes mit doppelseitigem Flor, Bandwebmaschine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens sowie so hergestelltes SamtbandProcess for the production of a velvet ribbon with double-sided pile, ribbon loom for carrying out the method as well as velvet ribbon thus produced
The invention relates to a method for producing a double-sided pile velvet ribbon according to claim 1, to a ribbon loom for carrying out the method according to claim 5, and to a velvet ribbon produced according to claims 14 and 15.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
From CH 554 431 it is known to produce velvet ribbons on a ship-less ribbon loom, wherein two spaced-apart bands are produced, which are interconnected by pile threads. At half the distance between the bands, the pile threads are severed and you get two velvet ribbons, which have a pile on one side. The document contains no indication of the possibility to produce a double-sided velvet ribbon.
The object of the invention is to provide a method for producing a double-sided velvet tape and a ribbon loom for carrying out such a method and to provide a double-sided velvet ribbon produced by the method or on the ribbon loom.
Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch: a) ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Samtbandes nach Anspruch 1; b) eine Bandwebmaschine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 5; sowie c) ein Samtband gemäß Anspruch 14 bzw. 15;The object is achieved by: a) a method for producing a velvet tape according to claim 1; b) a ribbon loom for carrying out the method according to claim 5; and c) a velvet tape according to claim 14 or 15;
The fact that you weaves three mutually superimposed bands weaving and this connects by pile threads together, you get a middle band, which has both sides pile threads and an upper and lower band, the each is provided only on one side with a pile. First, the pile threads are cut at a first cutting device between the middle band and a first band, and then the pile threads between the middle band and the second band are separated at a second cutting device. The middle band then provides the desired two-sided velvet ribbon, while the upper and lower bands are discharged as waste.
For the preparation, various methods are suitable; Particularly advantageous is the method according to claim 2, wherein the triple band is produced on a needle-loom. It is conceivable to process the triple band independently of the ribbon loom; However, it is more advantageous if according to claim 3, the cutting of the pile threads immediately after weaving on the ribbon loom performs. In principle, it is possible to perform the cutting of the pile threads with two independent cutting devices, which are arranged one after the other. It is more advantageous when the first and the second cutting device according to claim 4 are arranged side by side, wherein the once cut tape must be returned from the first cutting device to the second cutting device. This allows a simple and very short design of the cutting device.
The ribbon loom for producing the tape has according to claim 5 with three spaced apart and superimposed weaving sites, each with a weft insertion member and a shedding device for opening three sheds and for laying of the weaves connecting pile threads. The weaving station is followed by a first cutting device for cutting the pile threads between the middle strip and a first strip and a second cutting device for cutting the pile threads between the middle strip and the second strip.
In order to enable an exact cutting of the pile threads at a certain pile height, it is advantageous according to claim 6, if guides for the band are arranged on the cutting devices, which are adjustable in level and / or in the mutual distance. Particularly advantageous is a ribbon loom according to claim 7, wherein the first and the second cutting device are arranged side by side, and the first cutting device are associated with deflection means for returning the tape to the second cutting device. This makes it possible, according to claim 8 to assign the two cutting devices a common cutting member. In this case, the cutting member may be configured according to claim 9 as reciprocally driven cutting blade. According to claim 10, a cutting member is possible, which is designed as a rotating cutting band. Appropriately, the cutting members according to claim 11 associated with a grinding device, as is known from CH 554 431.
According to claim 12, the cutting devices are each assigned a discharge device for discharging the separated strip, which is usually removed as waste.
Various ribbon looms are suitable for carrying out the method, but a needle loom with three weft insertion needles arranged one above the other is particularly advantageous.
The novel, double-sided velvet tape produced according to claim 14 or 15 enables new and improved applications.

Weαe zur Ausführung der ErfindungWeαe for carrying out the invention
Durch Verändern des gegenseitigen Abstandes der Führungsplatten 4, 6 mittels schematisch angedeuteter Stellvorrichtungen 33, 35 kann der gegenseitige Abstand der Bänder 8, 10 und 12 und damit die Höhe der Florfäden 14 eingestellt werden.1 shows a ribbon loom 2, in which between an upper guide plate 4 and a lower guide plate 6, a middle band 8, a lower band 10 and an upper band 12 are produced, which are connected to one another transversely to the band plane pile threads 14. For this purpose, in a shedding device 16, the warp threads 18 are guided by means of strands 20 so that three sheds 22, 24 and 26 are formed, are entered into the respective weft threads 28, 30 and 32. The weft threads are suitably entered by means not shown weft needles a ribbon loom, the weft needles are arranged according to the supplied weft yarns 28, 30 and 32 one above the other and together are effective simultaneously. The weft threads 28, 30 and 32 are struck by means of a reed 34 at the three superimposed weaves 31. By changing the mutual distance of the guide plates 4, 6 by means of schematically indicated adjusting devices 33, 35, the mutual distance of the bands 8, 10 and 12 and thus the height of the pile threads 14 can be adjusted.
The weaves 31 are followed by a first cutting device 36, which has a guide 38 and a cutting member 40, which cuts through the pile threads 14a between the middle band 8 and the upper band 12. The upper belt 12 is discharged by means of a discharge device 42, which has a needle roller 44, as waste. The first cutting device 36 is followed by a second, lower cutting device 46, which also has a guide 48 and a cutting member 50. It cuts through the pile threads 14b between the middle band 8 and the lower band 10. The lower band 10 is discharged by means of a discharge device 52, which in turn has a needle roller 54, as waste. The remaining middle band 8 has a two-sided pile 56, 58 and is discharged via a discharge device 60. This also shows Preferably, a needle roller 62, which is occupied by needles 64 for secure removal of the produced velvet belt 8.
Figures 2 to 4 show another ribbon loom, which is constructed in principle according to the first ribbon loom of Figure 1, so that the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals. In contrast to the ribbon loom of Figure 1, the cutting devices 36a, 46a are not independently arranged, but side by side and have a common cutting member 66 which is formed as a knife and by means of a drive 68 back and forth in the ribbon loom of Figures 2 to 4 is driven forth.
The triple belt 8, 10, 12 coming from the weaving area 31 is fed after a first guide 70 to a first cutting device 36a, which has two guide plates 72, 74. The lower guide plate 72 is fixed and the upper guide plate 74 is adjustable by means of an indicated adjusting device 76 at a distance from the lower guide plate 72. At the first cutting device 36a, the cut-off lower belt 10 is discharged downwards by means of a discharge device 42a and a corresponding needle roller 44a.
The middle band 8 with the overlying upper band 12 is supplied laterally offset to a first formed as a needle roller guide roller 78, which deflects it backwards and further offset laterally via a first fixed guide 80 a second guide 82 feeds, where it so far um- is steered until it is aligned parallel to the triple band 8, 10, 12. It is fed to the second cutting device 46a via two further deflection rollers 84, 86. This in turn has a lower guide plate 88 and an upper guide plate 90 which are adjustable by means of indicated adjusting devices 92, 94 in the vertical position and / or in the mutual distance. In particular, the lower guide plate 88 of the second cutter 46a has to be adjusted to the height of the guide plate 72 of the first cutter such that the middle band 8 has the same pile height on both sides since the same cutter 66 is used for both cutters 36a, 46a. However, the thickness of the bands including pile height are different. At the second cutter 46a, the upper band 12 is separated from the middle band 8. The upper band 12 is again removed as waste via the discharge device 52a with the needle roller 54a. The middle band 8 is removed as a double-sided velvet band with a pile 56, 58 on both sides by means of a discharge device 60, which in turn contains a needle roller 62.
Ebenso ist die Nadelwalze 44a der Abführvorrichtung 42a einstückig mit der Nadelwalze 62a der Abführvorrichtung 60a.In the present embodiment, the deflection roller 78 of the deflection device and the needle roller 54a of the discharge device 52a are integrally formed. Likewise, the needle roller 44a of the discharge device 42a is integral with the needle roller 62a of the discharge device 60a.
The illustrated needle rollers may be replaced individually or all by other rollers having sufficiently non-slip surfaces, such as those having a roughened surface or provided with a rubber sheath.
The upper or lower bands, which are generally removed as waste, may optionally also be used as single-sided velvet belts.
