Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a bottle packaging made from a folded and cut blank.
  • the invention also relates to a blank allowing the packaging to be made by folding.
  • Bottle packs having a substantially square or round cross-section are generally known, generally serving as presentation cases such as packaging for a well-known bottle of champagne.
  • Synthetic foam blocking devices are generally molded in the form of two half-shells whose shape external of the two half-shells assembled corresponds to that of the outer box and whose internal cavity corresponds to the shape of the bottle. These wedging devices are expensive and difficult to produce, because of the complex shape, the various existing models and the raw materials which, moreover, are non-ecological materials.
  • the document FR 2 681 579 discloses a cardboard cushioning device and a packaging in a single blank which maintains the bottle longitudinally and transversely for a particular type of bottle.
  • bottles such as champagne bottles, wine, beer, magnums or reductions
  • the space required for the storage of a certain amount of suitable packaging for each type of bottle is enormous, if you want to have several types of packaging available to satisfy each customer.
  • Some bottle suppliers have longer or shorter necks that also require different setting devices and therefore each time a different blank.
  • the bottle is well set in the center of the package as much by the bottom as by the neck, which ensures a substantially ideal stability to the bottle within the package regardless of the diameter of the bottle.
  • the centering walls of adjustable size make it possible to center any type of bottle within the package.
  • the wedging devices adapt to any type of bottle diameter and to any neck height (neck narrowing site).
  • Complementary connection elements arranged one above on the other it is possible to adjust the height at which the second centering wall must be positioned in order to wedge a site of narrowing of the neck of said bottle and, therefore, whether the bottle is small or of large size, d. a small or a large diameter, the packaging and therefore the blank to predict will be the same.
  • the two side faces are held together by the second centering wall, which greatly simplifies the construction of the package from the single blank.
  • the fastening means on the side walls will be, for example, pre-cut notches in which will engage the connecting elements, for example projections present on the second centering wall. Therefore, the storage space needed to satisfy the various customers with adequate stock packaging for all types of bottles is greatly reduced.
  • the package is derived from a folded and cut blank which includes the aforesaid elements, including the effective wedging devices, it makes it a space-saving package in the unused state since the latter, before folding is completely flat.
  • the package is preferably made of cardboard, more preferably corrugated, or a relatively rigid, but lightweight, similar material.
  • first and a second wedging device that both wedge the bottle between the base wall and said at least two side walls in the upwardly folded position allows that in case of impact, the force of the shock it is not transmitted directly to the bottle.
  • the first and the second wedging device according to the invention prevent any lateral movement of said bottle in the packaging and / or up and down movement of said bottle in the package.
  • the package according to the invention comprises a support base comprising said base wall and a bottom wall which is arranged above said base wall, at a third predetermined distance from it, and on which said bottle is placed.
  • the bottle when a person drops the package containing the bottle, a layer of air, trapped under the bottom wall can cushion the impact of the bottle.
  • the trapped air layer will be larger or smaller depending on the greater or lesser value of the third predetermined distance.
  • the bottle, whose bottom is housed in said opening is firmly seated in the center of the package and this also allows a layer of protective air to surround the bottle to also damp the side impacts.
  • the third predetermined distance is less than the first predetermined distance which is less than the second predetermined distance.
  • the third predetermined distance corresponds to the height at which the bottom wall is located relative to the base wall
  • the first predetermined distance corresponds to the height at which the first centering wall of the bottom of the bottle is located relative to the base wall
  • the second predetermined distance corresponds to the height at which the second centering wall of the neck of the bottle is located relative to the base wall
  • each side wall comprises a series of internal prismatic protuberances extending from the side wall to the interior of said package.
  • prismatic protuberances also make it possible to cushion shocks that could occur on the packaging.
  • the prismatic protuberances also have a volume of air which is contained therein and acts as a damping layer.
  • these protuberances make it possible to stiffen the packaging according to the invention, as well as that possibly to close at least partially the package on the sides thereof where there are no opposite side walls.
  • the internal prismatic protuberances have at least one line of contact with said bottle and form a third wedging device.
  • the bottle is perfectly confined in the packaging and any movement thereof is prevented.
  • the support base, the two centering walls and the prismatic protuberances are present and where the prismatic protuberances have a line of contact with the bottle, the bottle is protected by a layer of support air above , a side air layer and wedging means that hold it perfectly in place in the middle of these protective air layers.
  • the bottle is protected during a normal accidental shock.
  • the internal prismatic protuberances are of triangular cross-section.
  • the particular shape of the prismatic protuberances of triangular section simplifies the production and reduces the costs in material, for example cardboard material and the weight of the packaging.
  • the triangular shape offers maximum rigidity.
  • it is a whole wall that may have a line of contact with the bottle and not an edge as would be the case if the prismatic protuberance had a square cross section, hexagonal or other.
  • other sections may be less advantageous, they are also within the scope of the claimed protection.
  • said at least two side walls comprise said complementary connecting elements disposed one above the other, at a predetermined distance from each other, to adjust a placement of said second centering wall at a predetermined height corresponding to a narrowing site of the neck of said bottle.
  • the package will be adjusted to the latter to prevent any movement up and down the bottle within the package.
  • the second centering wall is disposed at the site of narrowing of the neck of the bottle and the height at which this second centering wall can be placed is adjusted thanks to the arrangement of connecting elements one above the other.
  • the complementary connection elements of said at least two side walls are carried by said internal prismatic protuberances.
  • the protuberances extend from the side walls and that they are integral with it, it is also provided according to the invention that it is the protuberances that carry the complementary connection elements that maintain the side faces. folded upward as well as adjust the height of the second centering wall.
  • the connection elements carried by the protuberances are complementary to those present on the second centering wall when the latter is present to allow rigidity and maintenance together of all parts of the package.
  • each internal prismatic protrusion has a height substantially equal to the height of said reduced package of said third or said first predetermined distance corresponding to the height of said support pedestal or the first centering wall when present.
  • the lower edge of the protuberances is based on the first centering wall or on the support base, this further increases the rigidity of the package, since when the side walls are folded, their lower part rests against the support pedestal or against the edges of the first centering wall and the bottom of the prismatic protrusions on a bottom wall or on the first substantially horizontal centering wall, the lower edge of the side walls resting on the surface on which the package is placed. It therefore has rigidity assured in the three dimensions of space.
  • one or more packages according to the invention are intended to be inserted in a carton for packaging or presentation of one or more packages according to the invention which envelops and holds said at least two side walls in their folded position.
  • the presentation or packaging carton also plays the role of fastening means since it holds the two side walls in folded up position.
  • this carton of packaging or presentation may include labels or brands of the packaged product and be in a carton quality less robust, but more aesthetic.
  • the invention also relates to a blank according to claim 8 for making by folding the package according to the invention.
  • the package according to the invention is made from a blank to be folded.
  • the embodiment of the blank illustrated in figure 1 comprises a base wall section 1, a first 2 and a second side wall section 2 'opposite to each other and articulated on two opposite sides of the base wall 1, a first wedging section 3 and a second wedging section 4 of a bottle 20.
