- optical elements can be prevented that people are blinded by the light emitted by the light.
- disturbing reflections in particular on vertical surfaces such as e.g. Screens or windows are avoided.
- Light grids are therefore used in particular in rooms where there are workstations.
- a classic lighting grid usually consists of two side reflectors and a plurality of extending between the side reflectors cross blades.
- the side reflectors ensure glare-free glare when looking from the side onto the luminaire, while the cross-blades are responsible for glare-free glare when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the light source.
- the cross-blades are responsible for glare-free glare when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the light source.
- In classic lamp grids-these cross blades are made of sheet metal V-shaped and have a slightly concave side surface.
- simpler embodiments of transverse blades may also consist of simple sheet metal sections or sheet metal strips which do not have a concave shape.
- lamp grids have in common that the cross blades have a certain basic height in relation to the side walls of the luminaire grid.
- the cross blades are about half the height of the side walls to allow for the desired optical effect of the light suppression.
- a certain ratio between distance and height of the individual slats must be complied with.
- a typical lighting grid of the type described above is, for example, from the US 6,139,169 known.
- the grid elements shown in this publication have a height of several centimeters - about 5 cm - on, wherein the distance between two adjacent grid elements is dimensioned slightly larger. Due to these dimensions, however, the possibilities of reducing the overall height of a luminaire are limited.
- the European patent application EP 0 903 535 describes a lamellae arrangement for lights for dimming and steering of light with a plurality of slats attached to a holder.
- the lamellae are designed as transparent prism bodies.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a grid arrangement for glare of the light emitted from a light source, which is as independent as possible of the side reflectors of a luminaire grid in their design and on the other opens up the possibility of grid arrangement in the lowest possible height realize. In addition, it should be possible to provide the grid arrangement without much effort in different dimensions available.
- the grid arrangement according to the invention accordingly consists of a plurality of grid elements arranged side by side with reflective side walls, wherein according to the invention the grid elements are formed by separate plate elements made of solid material by profiled metal rods, which are held at their two ends in each case by a frame part.
- the ability to provide raster arrangements in different dimensions without much effort is therefore inventively opened up by the fact that the grid elements are now formed by separate lamellar elements, which are held at its two ends in each case by a frame part.
- the grid elements are now formed by separate lamellar elements, which are held at its two ends in each case by a frame part.
- By using separate lamella elements made of solid material it is possible to produce a plurality of lamellar elements in different lengths and then to form these with the aid of the frame parts to the latching arrangement in the desired dimension.
- the effort to realize in this way a grid arrangement in a particular desired dimension is significantly lower than in other solutions in which the grid assembly is formed as a whole in one piece.
- the lamellar elements according to the invention compared to the aforementioned sheet metal strips differ in that they are made of solid material and therefore do not have the shape of a thin strip.
- the ratio of height to width of a fin element should be less than 10: 1, so that the elements themselves have a certain intrinsic stability.
- the profiled metal rods are made of aluminum. But these metal rods may, for example. Consist of chrome-nickel steel and can be cut to length in a simple manner in the required length. As a result, the realization of grid arrangements in different dimensions is particularly simplified.
- the lamellar elements preferably have a substantially triangular cross-section, it being possible, analogously to conventional transverse lamellae, for the side walls to be slightly curved.
- the height of the lamellar elements is max. 3 mm, wherein the width of the lamellar elements in a range of max. 2 mm at the widest point.
- the lamellar elements are designed straight, but it would also be conceivable to use concave or convex curved lamellar elements, which for optical reasons may well be desired and even causes a particularly effective glare of the light emitted by a light source in certain situations.
- the frame parts for holding the lamella elements may be made of plastic, wherein the lamellar elements are then arranged with their end portions at least partially within these frame parts. This can be done, for example, by the fact that the lamellar elements are cast with their end portions in the frame parts.
- the frame parts may in particular also be a side reflector, on the underside of which the lamellar elements are then arranged.
- a luminaire grid with two elongate side reflectors and the lamellar elements designed in accordance with the invention extending therebetween are obtained overall.
- the present invention also relates to a luminaire grid with elongated side reflectors and a latching arrangement in the manner described above.
- Fig. 1 shows as an application example of the present invention, a lamp, as it comes in a classic way, for example.
- Essential elements of the lamp provided with the reference numeral 1 are on the one hand an elongated light source 2 in the form of a gas discharge lamp, in particular a fluorescent tube, which is arranged in a housing formed by two side walls 3, which also - not shown - means for fixing the lamp. 1 has on a ceiling and is provided for storage of equipment for the lamp 2, for example. Of electronic ballasts.
- a luminous grid provided with the reference numeral 4 is arranged, which is provided for glare of the light emitted from the light source 2.
- This light grid 4 initially consists of two slightly curved side reflectors 5, which are responsible for a glare at a view from the side and either consist of a reflective material or at least have reflective inner walls.
- For a glare in a view in the longitudinal direction of the fluorescent tube 2 provides a arranged at the lower end of the side reflectors 5 locking assembly 10, which consists of a plurality of mutually parallel slat elements 11.
- the side walls of the lamellar elements 11 may be slightly curved in accordance with the design of classical grid lamellae, as is also the sectional view in FIG Fig. 3 can be removed.
- Other forms for the Lamella elements 11 would also be conceivable. For example, these could also be trapezoidal or rectangular. It is essential, however, that the lamellar elements 11, the thickness of which, viewed in the emission direction, is tapered or at least constant, consist of solid material and are not formed by simple strips of a reflective material. Thus, the ratio of height to width of a fin element 11 should not exceed the factor 10: 1.
- the lamellar elements 11 provided for glare have a very small height, which is in the range below about 5 mm and preferably in the range of about 3 mm.
- the lamellar elements 11 On its upper side, the lamellar elements 11 have a width of about 2 mm. Due to the very small dimensions of the slat elements 11 responsible for glare control, it is necessary for them to have a relatively small spacing between them in the longitudinal direction. In the above-mentioned dimensions with a height of 3 mm and width of 2 mm, for example, it is provided that the lamellar elements have a distance of about 5 mm from one another.
- the lamellar elements 11 are formed by separate components, it is possible to provide them in various lengths. By using profiled metal rods for the lamellar elements 11, the individual lamellar elements 11 can be cut to length in the desired length in a simple manner, so that the cost for the production of lamellar elements of different lengths is extremely low. It should also be pointed out that the lamellar elements 11 of a grid arrangement 10 do not all have to have the same length. Thus, it would be entirely conceivable to vary the length of the lamellar elements 11 in the longitudinal direction of the grid arrangement 10 in order, for example, to create a trapezoidal or elliptical grid arrangement. Other forms could be realized in this way.
- the two side reflectors 5 of the light grid 4 at the same time also form the frame parts for holding the lamellar elements 11.
- the side reflectors 5 are flanged at their lower ends 6, wherein in both the downwardly directed inner wall 7a and in the upwardly curved outer wall 7b insertion openings 8a and 8b are provided, - so that the end portions of the profiled metal rods completely through these two walls 7a, 7b can be pushed through.
- the openings 8a and 8b are dimensioned such that the metal rods in the openings 8a, 8b through Friction be held.
- the 4 and 5 show a second variant of the grid arrangement according to the invention, in which in turn the frame parts for lateral support of the fin elements are formed by the lower regions of two side reflectors 5 of a luminaire grid.
- the difference to the embodiment of Fig. 1 and 2 is that the lower end portion 6 of the side reflector 5 is flanged in angled shape and only the inner wall 7a has a plug-in opening 8a for the end portions of the fin elements 11.
- FIGS Fig. 6 to 8 A third embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS Fig. 6 to 8 illustrated and differs from the first two embodiments essentially in the fact that now no longer form the side walls 5 of a luminaire grid, the frame parts for the latch assembly 10. Instead, the locking arrangement 10 is now designed as a separate element which is attached only to the underside of the reflectors 5. According to the representations in the Fig. 6 to 8 Accordingly, separate elongated frame parts 15 are provided which hold the end portions of the lamellar elements 11, respectively. These frame parts 15 may, for example, consist of plastic, wherein the lamellar elements 11 then, for example, can still be pressed into the soft plastic frame to form the desired latching arrangement 10.
- the lamellar elements 11 are encapsulated at their ends with the plastic to form the frame parts 15, which is preferable for manufacturing reasons, since this is a particularly simple production of the grid assembly 10 is made possible.
- these separate frame parts 15 could in turn have plug-in openings into which the lamellar elements 11 are inserted.
- the resulting total grid assembly 10 which - as already mentioned - can be produced in a variety of dimensions and shapes, can then be attached to the underside of the side reflectors 5, whereby the in the 6 and 8 shown arrangement is achieved.
- FIG Fig. 9 A further variant of the grid arrangement 10 according to the invention is shown in FIG Fig. 9 shown.
- the lateral frame members 15 are also seen triangular in cross-section and have the preferred slightly curved profile.
- This particular embodiment of the frame parts 15 may be desired in certain embodiments in order to achieve special optical effects.
- the lamellar elements were seen always straight in the longitudinal direction.
- Fig. 10 shows a variant according to which the lamellar elements 11 are slightly curved. This particular curvature can be used in particular to achieve a particular form of light output and also causes a special appearance of the lamp.
- luminaire grid it would now also be possible to make the luminaires overall much flatter. In particular, it would no longer be necessary to arrange the light source at a greater distance from the latching arrangement in a corresponding embodiment of the grid arrangement in which the lamellar elements are arranged very close to each other. Instead, it is now also possible to realize luminaires which, despite their extremely low overall height, have the photometric properties required for optimum illumination of workplaces.

Description
The present invention relates to a raster arrangement for directing or blinding the light emitted by a light source, which has a multiplicity of juxtaposed raster elements with reflective side walls.
Derartige Rasteranordnungen kommen insbesondere in sog. Such grid arrangements are used in particular in so-called lamp grids, which are often used as light-influencing elements in luminaires and are intended to concentrate or limit the light emitted by a light source to a predetermined angular range. By such optical elements can be prevented that people are blinded by the light emitted by the light. In addition, disturbing reflections, in particular on vertical surfaces such as e.g. Screens or windows are avoided. Light grids are therefore used in particular in rooms where there are workstations.
A classic lighting grid usually consists of two side reflectors and a plurality of extending between the side reflectors cross blades. The side reflectors ensure glare-free glare when looking from the side onto the luminaire, while the cross-blades are responsible for glare-free glare when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the light source. In classic lamp grids-these cross blades are made of sheet metal V-shaped and have a slightly concave side surface. However, simpler embodiments of transverse blades may also consist of simple sheet metal sections or sheet metal strips which do not have a concave shape.
All known embodiments of lamp grids have in common that the cross blades have a certain basic height in relation to the side walls of the luminaire grid. Typically, the cross blades are about half the height of the side walls to allow for the desired optical effect of the light suppression. In addition, a certain ratio between distance and height of the individual slats must be complied with.
The present invention has for its object to provide a grid arrangement for glare of the light emitted from a light source, which is as independent as possible of the side reflectors of a luminaire grid in their design and on the other opens up the possibility of grid arrangement in the lowest possible height realize. In addition, it should be possible to provide the grid arrangement without much effort in different dimensions available.
The object is achieved by a grid arrangement, which has the features of claim 1. Further developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The grid arrangement according to the invention accordingly consists of a plurality of grid elements arranged side by side with reflective side walls, wherein according to the invention the grid elements are formed by separate plate elements made of solid material by profiled metal rods, which are held at their two ends in each case by a frame part.
The ability to provide raster arrangements in different dimensions without much effort is therefore inventively opened up by the fact that the grid elements are now formed by separate lamellar elements, which are held at its two ends in each case by a frame part. By using separate lamella elements made of solid material, it is possible to produce a plurality of lamellar elements in different lengths and then to form these with the aid of the frame parts to the latching arrangement in the desired dimension. The effort to realize in this way a grid arrangement in a particular desired dimension, is significantly lower than in other solutions in which the grid assembly is formed as a whole in one piece.
It should be noted that the lamellar elements according to the invention compared to the aforementioned sheet metal strips differ in that they are made of solid material and therefore do not have the shape of a thin strip. In particular, the ratio of height to width of a fin element should be less than 10: 1, so that the elements themselves have a certain intrinsic stability.
In a further development of the basic idea of the invention, it is proposed to reduce the height of the lamellar elements dramatically, thereby creating the possibility of realizing light-influencing elements for glare-freeing the light emitted by a light source in a significantly reduced height. Although it may be necessary to reduce the spacing between the elements as well by reducing the height of the lamellar elements, this is certainly also desirable since this results in a more homogeneous appearance of the latching arrangement.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the profiled metal rods are made of aluminum. But these metal rods may, for example. Consist of chrome-nickel steel and can be cut to length in a simple manner in the required length. As a result, the realization of grid arrangements in different dimensions is particularly simplified.
The lamellar elements preferably have a substantially triangular cross-section, it being possible, analogously to conventional transverse lamellae, for the side walls to be slightly curved. Preferably, the height of the lamellar elements is max. 3 mm, wherein the width of the lamellar elements in a range of max. 2 mm at the widest point.
In a classical manner, the lamellar elements are designed straight, but it would also be conceivable to use concave or convex curved lamellar elements, which for optical reasons may well be desired and even causes a particularly effective glare of the light emitted by a light source in certain situations.
In a first variant, the frame parts for holding the lamella elements may be made of plastic, wherein the lamellar elements are then arranged with their end portions at least partially within these frame parts. This can be done, for example, by the fact that the lamellar elements are cast with their end portions in the frame parts.
An alternative possibility, however, is to provide the frame parts with openings into which the lamellar elements are then inserted with their end regions. In this case, the frame parts may in particular also be a side reflector, on the underside of which the lamellar elements are then arranged. As a result, a luminaire grid with two elongate side reflectors and the lamellar elements designed in accordance with the invention extending therebetween are obtained overall. Accordingly, the present invention also relates to a luminaire grid with elongated side reflectors and a latching arrangement in the manner described above.

Seen in light emission direction in front of the light source 2, a luminous grid provided with the

A particular feature of the illustrated embodiment is that the
Because the

It should also be noted that with a particularly flat design of the luminaire grid, it would now also be possible to make the luminaires overall much flatter.
