Definitions
- the invention relates to a lamp, a lighting system and the use of a lamp according to the features of the preamble of the independent claims.
- a variety of different reflectors and refractors are known.
- Out EP 1 586 818 a luminaire is known in which two prism covers are used to redirect the light.
- Out DE 195 47 747 is a luminaire with direct and indirect light propagation known. This is intended to generate a direct and indirect lighting proportion. In this case, strip-like prisms can be used.
- Prismatic structures for the purpose of light deflection are also off DE 199 23 226 .
- Out DE GM 89 15 821 is also a luminaire with a cover with a prismatic structure known, with which a zone of reduced luminance is to be created. This should be effected when using the lamp as a ceiling light directly below the light a zone of relative darkness. The main luminous flux should be emitted laterally and impinge on the corridor walls.
- a problem with this solution is that viewers who step out of side doors into the hall are blinded by the emitted light.
- the luminaire is intended to enable illumination which is not dazzling to the viewer.
- a further object of the invention is to provide a lighting system which is versatile applicable and by means of which, for example in hospitals in a cost effective manner in addition to room lighting further lighting applications can be provided.
- Another object of the invention is also to provide a lighting system by means of which different lighting needs can be met in a simple manner.
- the luminaire according to the invention is provided with at least one luminous means and deflection means for deflecting the light emitted by the luminous means.
- the deflecting means are designed in such a way that, when the luminaire is mounted as intended, a first illumination angle range extends approximately horizontally away from the luminaire and a second illumination angle range extends approximately perpendicularly downwards, and the first and second illumination angle ranges pass through an area with less Lighting intensity are separated from each other.
- the inventive lamp is therefore particularly suitable for use in a hallway. Due to the primary lateral and secondary perpendicular radiation and due to the intervening area with lower illumination intensity, there is no risk that persons passing through a door into the corridor will be blinded by the luminaire mounted along the corridor.
- the lamp is designed as an elongated lamp, which is also provided with an elongated lamp.
- a lamp is particularly well suited for uniform illumination of a long corridor.
- a plurality of such lights may be sequentially arranged along the corridor.
- the intensity of the illumination in the first illumination angle range is greater than in the second illumination angle range.
- the illumination of the corridor takes place indirectly over the side wall of the corridor.
- With a secondary, lower proportion of light is also a direct illumination of the room. It is particularly advantageous if the lamp is also provided with means for preventing a precisely vertical or vertical light emission. In this way it can be prevented that a person moving along the corridor is blinded by the light emitted downwards.
- the first illumination angle range extends over an angle of about 75 ° to about 150 ° to the vertical.
- the second angle range preferably extends from about 25 ° to about 60 ° with respect to the perpendicular. Due to the provided between 60 and 75 ° with respect to the vertical area with lower illumination intensity is caused by a ceiling mounting the lamp in a corridor with conventional dimensions that the Face of a passing from a side door in the corridor person is in the range of lower intensity.
- the corresponding angular range can be adapted so that even with other dimensions of a corridor an aperture is prevented.
- the luminaire has a symmetrical design, so that light is emitted on both sides in the direction of the side walls of the corridor when the lamp is mounted along a corridor. Therefore, two first and two second illumination angle ranges are provided on both sides in the manner described above.
- the deflection means may be formed by a cover with a prismatic structure.
- alternative solutions are conceivable by means of which the same effects could be achieved, for example elements with a microcone structure.
- the cover has a plurality of mutually parallel prisms.
- the prisms are preferably arranged on the inside of the cover, so that when viewed from the outside results in a smooth surface.
- the prisms are particularly preferably arranged at regular intervals from each other, and they have an equal width of their base surfaces. This results from the outside a uniform arrangement of the prisms. Nevertheless, the desired deflection of the light can be achieved by different choice of the height or the position of the tip of the individual prisms.
- two bulbs arranged one above the other in the installed position are provided.
- an identical prism structure is preferably provided for each light source.
- the use of two bulbs also allows the use of bulbs with different emission spectra, which can be weighted according to need, for example, depending on the time of day, correspondingly stronger or less strong. This makes it possible to achieve a variable emission spectrum over time with suitable control.
- the deflection means are designed in the form of a profile extruded as a panel. Such deflection means can be produced particularly inexpensively.
- the base part can be of different lengths.
- Essential here are certain common components such as the cross section or dimensions of the base part.
- a luminaire system in which an interface is provided in at least one of its ends in the longitudinal direction in a luminaire as described above.
- the lighting system has at least one additional module which can be connected to the interface. For example, while using it of lights for corridor lighting individual spot modules are arranged, which allow individual lighting of individual areas, such as images on a wall.
- Yet another aspect of the invention relates to the use of a lamp as described above with Umlenkanssenen in a long drawn room, especially in a hallway, wherein the lamp is used such that in a first illumination angle range light on a wall above a predetermined height, in particular above 2.00 meters is emitted and that in a second illumination angle range light is given directly into the room.
- luminaire according to the invention Glare and reflections are reduced. Due to the indirect lighting via walls and partly direct lighting results in a low shadowing. The indirect illumination of the side walls of a corridor results in an optical broadening. Because the luminaire according to the invention can be mounted directly on the ceiling, it is also ideally suited for low room heights.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a lamp according to the invention 1.
- the inventive lamp 1 is formed substantially as an elongated cuboid.

- the lamp 1 has a base part 3, which is mounted or mounted on the ceiling.
- the base part 3 has not shown mounting means for mounting the lamp to the ceiling D.
- the mounting position of the lamp 1 is defined based on the ceiling.
- a holder for two bulbs 2a, 2b, typically fluorescent tubes, is provided at the base part 3 a holder for two bulbs 2a, 2b, typically fluorescent tubes, is provided.
- the lighting means 2a, 2b are covered by a transparent cover 10, which causes a deflection of the light in the manner described below.
- a cover is also provided, which prevents direct radiation of the light in the vertical direction V down.
- the luminaire 1 is typically mounted in the longitudinal direction L along a corridor.
- the lower cover 20 thus prevents glare from moving along the corridor persons.
- FIG. 2 is a section through the lamp according to FIG. 1 shown in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L.
- the lamp 1 is mounted with the base part 3 on the ceiling D.
- the bulbs 2a, 2b are arranged one above the other in the vertical direction.
- the cover 10, which serves as a deflection means for the light is integrally formed.

- On the inside of the cover 10 a prism structure 11 is arranged, which causes the deflection of the light in the desired manner.
- an additional lower prism structure 21 is provided at the lower surface in the mounting position of the cover 10.
- the prism structure 21 prevents direct emission of light in the vertical direction V by refraction of light.
- a lower cover 20 can also be provided which completely prevents vertical light emission.
- the emission characteristics of the luminaire according to FIG. 2 is in FIG. 3 shown.
- the prism structure 11 is formed such that light in the first illumination angle ranges B1 is emitted approximately horizontally from the luminaire 1 on both sides.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a luminaire and a lighting system which can be optimally used in a long corridor, for example in hospitals. The luminaire is intended to enable illumination which is not dazzling to the viewer. A further object of the invention is to provide a lighting system which is versatile applicable and by means of which, for example in hospitals in a cost effective manner in addition to room lighting further lighting applications can be provided. Another object of the invention is also to provide a lighting system by means of which different lighting needs can be met in a simple manner. These and other objects are achieved according to the invention with a lamp and a lighting system with the features of the characterizing part of the independent claims.
The luminaire according to the invention is provided with at least one luminous means and deflection means for deflecting the light emitted by the luminous means. The deflecting means are designed in such a way that, when the luminaire is mounted as intended, a first illumination angle range extends approximately horizontally away from the luminaire and a second illumination angle range extends approximately perpendicularly downwards, and the first and second illumination angle ranges pass through an area with less Lighting intensity are separated from each other.
The inventive lamp is therefore particularly suitable for use in a hallway. Due to the primary lateral and secondary perpendicular radiation and due to the intervening area with lower illumination intensity, there is no risk that persons passing through a door into the corridor will be blinded by the luminaire mounted along the corridor.
The lamp is designed as an elongated lamp, which is also provided with an elongated lamp. Such a lamp is particularly well suited for uniform illumination of a long corridor. Typically, a plurality of such lights may be sequentially arranged along the corridor.
The intensity of the illumination in the first illumination angle range is greater than in the second illumination angle range. Primarily, therefore, the illumination of the corridor takes place indirectly over the side wall of the corridor. With a secondary, lower proportion of light is also a direct illumination of the room. It is particularly advantageous if the lamp is also provided with means for preventing a precisely vertical or vertical light emission. In this way it can be prevented that a person moving along the corridor is blinded by the light emitted downwards.
Preferably, the first illumination angle range extends over an angle of about 75 ° to about 150 ° to the vertical. The second angle range preferably extends from about 25 ° to about 60 ° with respect to the perpendicular. Due to the provided between 60 and 75 ° with respect to the vertical area with lower illumination intensity is caused by a ceiling mounting the lamp in a corridor with conventional dimensions that the Face of a passing from a side door in the corridor person is in the range of lower intensity. Of course, depending on the field of application, the corresponding angular range can be adapted so that even with other dimensions of a corridor an aperture is prevented.
The luminaire has a symmetrical design, so that light is emitted on both sides in the direction of the side walls of the corridor when the lamp is mounted along a corridor. Therefore, two first and two second illumination angle ranges are provided on both sides in the manner described above.
The deflection means may be formed by a cover with a prismatic structure. However, alternative solutions are conceivable by means of which the same effects could be achieved, for example elements with a microcone structure.
Preferably, the cover has a plurality of mutually parallel prisms. The prisms are preferably arranged on the inside of the cover, so that when viewed from the outside results in a smooth surface.
In this case, the prisms are particularly preferably arranged at regular intervals from each other, and they have an equal width of their base surfaces. This results from the outside a uniform arrangement of the prisms. Nevertheless, the desired deflection of the light can be achieved by different choice of the height or the position of the tip of the individual prisms.
Depending on the application, for example, even when using multiple bulbs, a range without prisms may be desired or necessary. According to a further preferred embodiment In this case, lines are provided in this area whose positions correspond to the side lines of the base surfaces of the missing or the missing prism. In this way, the overall impression of the luminaire according to the invention is not changed from the outside.
In the luminaire according to the invention, two bulbs arranged one above the other in the installed position are provided. In this case, an identical prism structure is preferably provided for each light source. In particular, the use of two bulbs also allows the use of bulbs with different emission spectra, which can be weighted according to need, for example, depending on the time of day, correspondingly stronger or less strong. This makes it possible to achieve a variable emission spectrum over time with suitable control.
Particularly preferably, the deflection means are designed in the form of a profile extruded as a panel. Such deflection means can be produced particularly inexpensively.
Depending on the application, the base part can be of different lengths. Essential here are certain common components such as the cross section or dimensions of the base part.
According to a further aspect of the invention, a luminaire system is provided in which an interface is provided in at least one of its ends in the longitudinal direction in a luminaire as described above. The lighting system has at least one additional module which can be connected to the interface. For example, while using it of lights for corridor lighting individual spot modules are arranged, which allow individual lighting of individual areas, such as images on a wall.
Yet another aspect of the invention relates to the use of a lamp as described above with Umlenkanordnungen in a long drawn room, especially in a hallway, wherein the lamp is used such that in a first illumination angle range light on a wall above a predetermined height, in particular above 2.00 meters is emitted and that in a second illumination angle range light is given directly into the room.
Various advantages are achieved with the luminaire according to the invention. Glare and reflections are reduced. Due to the indirect lighting via walls and partly direct lighting results in a low shadowing. The indirect illumination of the side walls of a corridor results in an optical broadening. Because the luminaire according to the invention can be mounted directly on the ceiling, it is also ideally suited for low room heights.

- Luminaire according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the first angular illumination region (B1) extends over an angle of from approximately 75° to approximately 105° referred to the vertical (V), and in that the second angular illumination region (B2) extends over an angle of from approximately 25° to approximately 60° referred to the vertical (V).
- Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the deflecting means (10) are designed in such a way that in the case of a duly mounted luminaire a wall (W) illuminated by the angular illumination region (B1) can be illuminated above a dividing line (H) at a predeterminable level.
- Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the deflecting means are formed by a cover (10) having a prismatic structure (11).
- Luminaire according to Claim 5, characterized in that the cover (10) has a plurality of prisms (12) running parallel to one another.
- Luminaire according to Claim 6, characterized in that the prisms (12) have equally wide base surfaces (13).
- Luminaire according to either of Claims 6 and 7, characterized in that a region (14) without prisms is provided, and in that there are provided in this region (14) lines which are visible from the outside and which correspond to the side lines of the base surfaces (13) of a missing prism.
- Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that an identical prismatic structure (11) is provided for each luminous means (2a, 2b).
- Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the deflecting means (10) are designed as an extruded profile.
- Luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that two luminous means (2a, 2b) having a different emission spectrum are provided.
- Luminaire system having a luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 11, which is provided with an interface (5) at at least one of its ends (4) seen in a longitudinal direction (L), the luminaire system having at least one additional module (30) which can be connected to the interface (5).
- Use of a luminaire according to one of Claims 1 to 11, in an elongated space, in particular in a corridor, the first angular illumination region (B1) illuminating a wall (W) above a predetermined level (H), and the second angular illumination region (B2) illuminating the corridor directly beneath.
