Definitions
- the invention relates to a method of manufacturing a loom of a loom.
- the invention also relates to a shedding mechanism rail on a loom and to a loom equipped with such a mechanism.
- a leash In the field of crowd formation, it is known to equip a leash with a warp guide eyelet, the material and the shape of this lug being chosen so as not to injure the warp thread passing through the lug. central orifice defined by this eyelet. It is known to FR-A-2,267,403 to glue an eyelet in a longitudinal slot formed in a filiform element constituting a smooth. Some of the eyelets described are provided with an external peripheral groove intended to facilitate their retention in the opening of the filiform element. These eyelets have a greater thickness than that of the filiform element, which induces risks of attachment of warp threads during weaving. In addition, such a peripheral groove is difficult to achieve, especially in the high carbon steels used to make eyelets.
- FR-A-2,776,676 provides, meanwhile, the realization of an oblong eyelet provided with a groove for receiving glue or welding material. In practice, such a throat is difficult to achieve.
- EP-A-1,015,675 shows the use of an oblong eyelet forming a receiving groove of two strands constituting a filiform element, for the purpose of maintaining this eyelet, the eyelet being otherwise adhered to these strands.
- the form imposed on the eyelet to allow its manufacture by forming is such that large openings remain respectively above and below the eyelet, these openings to be filled with glue. This is difficult to achieve and induces a high consumption of glue which substantially increases the cost price of the bar.
- the invention more particularly intends to remedy by proposing a new method of manufacturing a loom of a loom which allows an effective fastening of an eyelet whose shape can be adapted to that of the loom. opening in which it is set up.
- the projecting tabs allow effective attachment of the eyelet in the opening of the filiform element.
- the offset of the two legs both along the edge of the eyelet or opening and perpendicular to the main faces of the eyelet or the filiform element corresponds to a "staggered" arrangement of the legs which allows them to each interact with one side of the filiform element or eyelet, while being able to be manufactured in a particularly simple manner, without resorting to complex machining ranges, which is all the more appreciable that the eyelets have very small dimensions.
- the invention also relates to a rail that can be made by the above-mentioned method and, more specifically, to a shedding mechanism rail on a loom, the rail comprising a filamentary element, and an eyelet immobilized in a loom. Opening formed in this filiform element.
- This smooth is characterized in that a first element, among the eyelet and the opening, carries, on an edge, at least two projecting lugs offset from each other along this edge and perpendicular to the faces. main part of this first element, while part of the edge of the second element is engaged with these tabs.
- Such a smooth is more economical to manufacture than the smooth of the state of the art, while it ensures as efficient guiding warp, without risk of injury.
- the invention relates to a loom equipped with a shedding mechanism comprising at least one rail as mentioned above.
- the loom M represented at figure 1 is equipped with a Jacquard mechanism 2 which controls several arches 4 whose lower end is associated with several cords 6.
- the lower end 6a of each bead 6 is connected to the upper end 8a of a rail 8, each rail 8 being provided with an eyelet 9 for the passage of a warp thread 10 and subjected to the action of a return spring 12 fixed to the frame 14 of the loom by means of a rod 16.
- Smooth 8 is formed of a filamentary element 81 which is initially in the form of a stainless steel circular section wire. This wire is crushed to have a flattened cross section. In its central part, the element 81 is separated into two branches 82 and 83 between which is defined an opening 84 for receiving the eyelet 9.
- the eyelet 9 is obtained by cutting a strip of metal, preferably a carbon steel strip. It defines a hole 91 for passing a warp thread 10.
- X 91 is the central axis of the orifice 91, this axis being perpendicular to the main faces 92 and 93 of the eyelet 9, that is to say to say to its faces of the most important areas.
- the eyelet 9 is oblong in shape and its outer edge 94 is generally oval or in the form of a flattened ellipse.
- the edge 94 is equipped with eight lugs 95, four of which, bearing the reference 95a, have one of their sides flush with the surface 92, while the other four lugs, bearing the reference 95b, have one of their sides flush with the surface 93.
- the tabs 95a and 95b protrude from the edge 94 and are arranged in pairs along the edge 94, each pair comprising a tab 95a and a tab 95b, these tabs being laterally offset from one another along from the edge 94.
- the median plane of the eyelet 9 that is to say a plane parallel to the faces 92 and 93 and equidistant thereof.
- the legs 95a and 95b are distributed on either side of this plane.
- the tabs 95a and 95b of the same pair of tabs are offset, on either side of this plane, in a direction D 9 parallel to the X axis 91 .
- the tabs 95a and 95b are arranged "staggered" on either side of the plane P 9 .
- the tabs 95a and 95b of the same pair are offset along the edge 94 by a non-zero distance d and, parallel to the direction D 9 , by a distance between the centers of the tabs 95a and 95b. also non-zero.
- the edge 85 is thinned, as is apparent from the Figures 7 to 10 .
- the element 81 is shaped to produce the heddle 8
- the latter 8 is stamped on a length corresponding to the largest dimension of the opening 84 to form, from each of its longer sides or main faces.
- a slot 88 is created in the bottom thereof as shown in FIG. figure 9 , this slot joining the deepest parts of housing 86a and 87a.
- the branches 82 and 83 are created which can then be separated from each other, in the direction of the arrows F 2 to figures 9 and 10 , to reach the position of the figure 10 where the branches 82 and 83 define between them the opening 84 with transverse dimensions greater than the bulk of the eyelet 10 in the plane visible at the figure 4 .
- the edge 85 forms, over its entire length, a nose 85a calibrated on either side of which are formed two shoulders 85b of depth p 1 .
- the nose 85a has a width l 85 , taken parallel to the axis X 91 , less than the thickness e 81 of the element 81 and at the distance of.
- glue is applied in the openings 84a which remain on both sides of the eyelet 9.
- the glue spreads by capillarity at least at least part of the interface between the This glue can be of any known type and, in particular, a one-component epoxy glue with ultraviolet ray curing or an ultraviolet-cured anaerobic glue.
- each of the lugs 95 is denoted e 95 , this thickness being slightly less than the depth p 1 of the housings 86a and 87a.
- the total thickness e 9 of the eyelet 9 is chosen substantially equal to the thickness e 81 .
- the positioning of the tabs 95a and 95b, which are offset relative to each other along the edge 94, allows for these tabs by stamping of the steel strip in which the eyelet 9 is cut.
- the eyelet can be achieved by cold forging. Using stamping or forging to create the legs 95 avoids the need for machining operations that would be very expensive and difficult to implement given the size of the eyelet 9 whose length is in practice, less than 20 mm, preferably 10 mm.
- the method of manufacturing eyelets 9 allows very high production rates because the different operations implemented can be performed on the same machine, with several workstations, the formatting tools all having displacements perpendicular to the plane P 9 .
- the tabs 95a and 95b are flush with the lateral faces of the filiform element 81.
- nut 9 can be immobilized by a clamping force F 3 due to the branches 82 and 83 of the element 81 and being bonded, this in order to obtain additional anchoring.
- the edge 94 of the eyelet 9 may be provided with two tabs 95a and 95b which form a pair of lugs 95 shifted as in the first embodiment.
- the tab 95a is flush with a main face 92 of the eyelet 9, while the tab 95b is flush with the opposite main face 93.
- the edge 85 of the branch 82 of the filiform element 81 is provided with two protruding lugs 95 ', namely a lug 95'a flush with the main face 86 of the branch 82 and a lug 95' flush with the opposite side 87 of this branch.

Description
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a loom of a loom. The invention also relates to a shedding mechanism rail on a loom and to a loom equipped with such a mechanism.
It is to these drawbacks that the invention more particularly intends to remedy by proposing a new method of manufacturing a loom of a loom which allows an effective fastening of an eyelet whose shape can be adapted to that of the loom. opening in which it is set up.
- a) fabriquer un oeillet de guidage de fil de chaîne ;
- a) manufacturing a warp guide eyelet;
- b) forming, in a filiform element, an opening for receiving this eyelet and
- c) put in place and immobilize the eyelet in the aforementioned opening.
- d) during the manufacture of the eyelet or the making of the opening, forming, on an edge of a first element, among the eyelet and the opening, at least two projecting lugs offset one on the other both along this edge and perpendicular to the main faces of this first element
- e) during the establishment of the eyelet in the aforementioned opening, is brought into engagement with the projecting tabs part of the edge of the second element, among the eyelet and the opening.
Thanks to the invention, the projecting tabs allow effective attachment of the eyelet in the opening of the filiform element. The offset of the two legs both along the edge of the eyelet or opening and perpendicular to the main faces of the eyelet or the filiform element corresponds to a "staggered" arrangement of the legs which allows them to each interact with one side of the filiform element or eyelet, while being able to be manufactured in a particularly simple manner, without resorting to complex machining ranges, which is all the more appreciable that the eyelets have very small dimensions. The fact of providing a hooking of the eyelet on the filiform element thanks to the two protruding tabs avoids resorting to a continuous peripheral groove on the edge of the eyelet, which allows, for this edge, a shape that can be adapted to the geometry of the opening created in the filiform element.
- There is provided a step of thinning and calibration of the edge intended to be brought into engagement with, or engaged between, the projecting tabs, this step being prior to step e). This step of thinning and calibration is preferably carried out by localized matrixing of the filiform element, this matrixing inducing, on each side of this element, the creation of a housing for receiving one of the legs, this step thinning being followed by a step of producing a longitudinal slot in the filiform element, this slot being then widened to constitute the aforementioned opening.
- On the edge of the second element are formed tabs projecting from those formed on the edge of the first element, these complementary tabs being offset from each other along the edge of the second element and perpendicularly to the main faces of the second element, with a distribution opposite to that of the tabs formed on the first element.
- The eyelet or opening is made by cutting, while the legs are made by stamping or forging. This is particularly economical and is compatible with high speed production.
The invention also relates to a rail that can be made by the above-mentioned method and, more specifically, to a shedding mechanism rail on a loom, the rail comprising a filamentary element, and an eyelet immobilized in a loom. opening formed in this filiform element. This smooth is characterized in that a first element, among the eyelet and the opening, carries, on an edge, at least two projecting lugs offset from each other along this edge and perpendicular to the faces. main part of this first element, while part of the edge of the second element is engaged with these tabs.
Such a smooth is more economical to manufacture than the smooth of the state of the art, while it ensures as efficient guiding warp, without risk of injury.
- The thickness of the eyelet is substantially equal to the maximum thickness of the filiform element, including the legs.
- The edge which is partly engaged between the projecting lugs is, at least at the level of its part engaged between these lugs, thinned with respect to the maximum thickness of the filiform element or the eyelet.
- The second element carries, on one edge, projecting tabs complementary to those formed on the edge of the first element, these complementary tabs being offset from one another along the edge of the second element and perpendicular to its main faces, with an inverse distribution of that of the tabs formed on the first element.
- Each leg is, by one of its sides, flush with a main face of the eyelet or filiform element, which is perpendicular to the aforementioned axis.
- The filiform element is made of stainless steel and the eyelet is glued into the opening in this element.
- The eyelet or aperture is provided with eight tabs distributed on its outer edge, in groups of two tabs offset relative to each other along this edge and parallel to a central axis of the aperture. guide formed by the eyelet.
Finally, the invention relates to a loom equipped with a shedding mechanism comprising at least one rail as mentioned above.

The
The
Le nez 85a a une largeur l85, prise parallèlement à l'axe X91, inférieure à l'épaisseur e81 de l'élément 81 et à la distance d'.At the end of this operation, the
To ensure the durability of the attachment and fill the openings between the
The fact that the eyelet is stuck on the
As in the first embodiment,
Alternatively, in the four embodiments described, as the locking of the
The invention has been shown in the first two embodiments with an eyelet and an opening whose
