Claims (6)
- A method for operating a printing press, namely for carrying out a flying printing plate change on at least one printing couple of the printing press while other printing couples of the printing press are operated in the production run, wherein form cylinders of printing couples operated in the production run are each driven by an own drive or direct drive and inking couples and if applicable dampening units of the printing couples operated in the production run are driven by a main drive, and wherein on the or each printing couple, on which a printing plate change is carried out, ink form rollers of the inking couple and if applicable a dampening form roller of the dampening unit are disengaged from the respective form cylinder,
characterised in that
on the or each printing couple, on which a printing plate change is carried out, the inking couple and if applicable the dampening unit are driven by the own drive or direct drive assigned to the plate cylinder of the respective printing couple, and wherein the inking couple and the dampening unit are then driven with a significantly lower rotational speed than the rotational speed pre-set by the main drive,
wherein in particular when on the or each printing couple, on which a printing plate change is carried out, the inking couple and if applicable the dampening unit are driven by the own drive or direct drive assigned to the plate cylinder of the respective printing couple, the inking couple and if applicable the dampening unit are decoupled from the main drive and coupled to the own drive or direct drive of the respective plate cylinder. - The method according to Claim 1, characterised in that in particular when on a printing couple operated in the production run a printing plate change is to be carried out, the ink form rollers of the inking couple are disengaged from the form cylinder, wherein for cleaning the print form positioned on the form cylinder and for cleaning a rubber blanket of the form cylinder positioned on the rubber blanket cylinder interacting with the form cylinder, the form cylinder and rubber blanket cylinder of the printing couple remain in a print-on position.
- The method according to Claim 2, characterised in that following the disengaging of the ink form rollers of the inking couple from the form cylinder, the dampening form roller of the dampening unit remains engaged on the form cylinder for a predetermined period of time or for a predetermined number of cylinder revolutions.
- The method according to Claim 3, characterised in that even after the disengaging of the dampening form roller of the dampening unit from the form cylinder, the form cylinder and the rubber blanket cylinder still remain in the print-on position for a predetermined period of time or for a predetermined number of cylinder revolutions.
- The method according to any one or multiple of the Claims 1 to 4, characterised
in that for carrying out a flying printing plate change on a printing couple of the printing press, while other printing couples of the printing press are operated in the production run, the following steps are passed through in succession;(a) on the printing couple operated in the production run, on which a printing plate change is to be carried out in the following, the ink form rollers are disengaged from the form cylinder, whereas the dampening form roller remains engaged on the form cylinder;(b) following a predetermined period of time or number of cylinder revolutions after the disengaging of the ink form rollers, the dampening form roller is also disengaged from the form cylinder;(c) after a further predetermined period of time or number of cylinder revolutions after the disengaging of the dampening form roller, form cylinder and rubber blanket cylinder are transferred into a print-off position;(d) following this, the printing plate change is carried out on the form cylinder, wherein the inking couple and dampening unit in the process are either driven by the main drive of the printing press or by the own drive of the form cylinder;(e) following the performed printing plate change, the ink form rollers and the dampening form roller are engaged on the form cylinder for preinking;(f) following this, form cylinder and rubber blanket cylinder of the printing couple are either transferred directly into a print-on position or, in the sense of the steps (a) to (c), another printing couple operated in the production run is first prepared for the printing plate change. - The method according to Claim 5, characterised in that in particular when in step (f) another printing couple is first prepared for the printing plate change, the printing couples remaining in the production run during the steps (a) to (c), are temporarily transferred into a print-off position and subsequently again into the print-on position.
