Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verschlusselement für Flaschen gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a closure element for bottles according to the preamble of claim 1.

Closure elements of the type discussed here are known. They are used especially for bottles with high quality content, especially those made of glass. In order to ensure a tight closure of the contents of the bottles, a sealing element is provided. After sealing with the manufacturer closure elements of the type mentioned here are usually secured, for example by a plastic or aluminum cap that holds the closure element on the bottle. After the first opening, thus also the removal of the cap, the closure element holds itself by means of the friction between the sealing element and the bottle. With an increase in pressure inside the bottle, it may therefore happen that the closure element is pushed so far out of the mouth region of the bottle that it loses its grip and possibly falls completely.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a closure element for bottles, which does not have this disadvantage.

To solve this problem, a closure element is proposed, which shows the features mentioned in claim 1. It has a stopper engaging in the mouth of the beverage bottle and a head with an outside diameter larger than that of the stopper. A sealing element in the transition area between Plug and head is arranged, has a first sealing area, which abuts the plug. The interior of the beverage bottle is closed by at least one outwardly facing sealing bead, which is provided in the first sealing area. The closure element is characterized in that on the side facing away from the head of the sealing bead is provided at a distance to this at least one outwardly projecting projection, preferably an annular bead having at least one introduced into the peripheral surface of the bead recess, and that first sealing region on its side facing the plug inside at least one projection, preferably an inner bead has.

As a result, additional holding forces between closure element and bottle are built. At an overpressure in the bottle, the closure element is slightly pushed out of the mouth of the bottle, namely so far, until the seal acting as a sealing bead is pushed so far out of the mouth of the bottle that he no longer completes its interior and escape the pressure can. By the at least one projection lying at a distance from the sealing bead or by the recess in the annular bead, the internal pressure can escape from the bottle. At the same time it is ensured that the closure element on the bottle still finds sufficient support and can not fall out of the mouth.

Weitere Ausgestaltungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.Further embodiments emerge from the subclaims.

The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. The single FIGURE shows a schematic diagram of a closure element in side view with a sealing element in longitudinal section.

The closure element 1 shown has a plug 3, which is insertable into the mouth of a bottle. Close to the stopper For example, it can be provided that the outer diameter of the head 5 substantially corresponds to that of the bottle in the mouth region, so that the bottle virtually merges into the closure element. Plug 3 and head 5 are preferably formed in one piece.

In the transition region between the plug 3 and the head 5, a sealing element 7 is provided which has at least one first sealing area 9 resting against the stopper 3. Preferably, as shown in the figure, an adjoining second sealing region 11 is provided, which bears against the head 5 from below.

On the outside of the first sealing region 9 facing away from the plug 3, a sealing bead 13 is provided here, which seals the interior of a bottle from the environment. It is possible to provide a plurality of such sealing beads one above the other, ie at a distance from one another. On the side facing away from the head 5 of the sealing bead 13 here is an annular bead 15 is provided, which has at least one recess in its peripheral surface, which does not seal the interior of the bottle against the sealing bead 13, so represents a passage. In the interior of the bottle acting pressure can thus continue to act on the sealing bead 13.

Instead of the bead 15 and at least one projection, preferably a number of projections may be provided which are arranged on an imaginary circumferential line at a distance from each other and not seal the interior of the bottle against the sealing bead 13 pressure-tight.

On the plug 3 facing side of the first sealing portion 9, an inner bead 17 is provided which is provided in the lower region of the sealing bead 13, but seen in the direction of the central axis 19 of the closure element 1 has a smaller extent and a smaller height. The inner bead 17 serves as a support for the sealing bead 13 and as a stop of the sealing element 7 on the plug. 3

In addition, an inner bead can likewise be provided in the region of the bead 15 or of the at least one projection provided here. Dimension and number of at least one Innenwulsts 17 can be adapted to different applications.

On the side facing away from the head 5 bottom of the second sealing portion 11 at least one concentric with the central axis 19 extending annular bead 21 is provided. In the embodiment shown here, two concentrically arranged annular beads 21 and 23 are shown. These can serve as an additional seal, but also to intercept a shock on the closure element 1 resiliently, while this is placed on a bottle and with the annular beads 21, 23 is supported on the wall region surrounding the mouth of the bottle.

Zur Funktion des Verschlusselements 1 ist Folgendes festzuhalten:For the function of the closure element 1, the following must be stated:

To close a bottle, the closure element 1 is placed on a bottle, so that the plug 3 engages in the mouth of the same and the head 5 is supported on the wall portion of the bottle surrounding the mouth. The sealing member 7 serves to seal the interior of the bottle, wherein at least a first sealing region 9 in the region of the plug 3 ensures the conclusion. In addition, a second sealing region 11 may be provided. Preferably, the sealing element 7 is integrally formed, so that the first sealing region 9 merges into the second sealing region 11. The first sealing region 9 is substantially cylindrical or slightly conical and is concentric with the central axis 19. The second sealing region 11 lies in a plane on which the central axis 19 is perpendicular.

For the tight completion of the interior of the bottle provides the sealing bead 13. He also provides sufficient holding forces to hold the closure element 1 on a bottle in the rule. Additional holding forces are constructed by the, viewed from the head 5, below the sealing bead 13 arranged at least one projection or by the bead 15. It is essential that, however, a seal of the interior of the bottle is not given here, so that a pressure building up here acts up to the sealing bead 13.

Thus, if pressure builds up inside the bottle, the plug 3 is pushed out of the mouth of the plug somewhat, until the overpressure at the sealing bead 13 can escape. In this position, the closure element 1 still finds sufficient hold in the mouth of a bottle, because below the sealing bead 13 at least one projection, preferably the bead 15 is provided. Since this is provided with at least one recess, the internal pressure in the bottle can escape here, so that a further axial displacement of the closure element 1 out of the bottle does not take place.

While in the originally closed state, the head 5 of the closure element 1 practically completely rests on the wall surrounding the mouth of a bottle, namely in a predetermined by the second sealing element 11 distance, the closure element is located after reducing an increased internal pressure in the interior in a position in the distance between the head 5 and the bottle is increased. Only a consumer can recognize that the closure element has been displaced by internal pressure in the bottle. This shift could be used as an indication of non-gassing content that the content is spoiled and is fermenting.

The closure element 1 is preferably made entirely of glass, so that it does not affect the content in the bottle flavor. It would be enough to make only the plug of glass, at least the areas that come in contact with the contents of the bottle. However, the closure element 1 may also consist of metal, ceramic and a plastic, which does not affect the content of the bottle in taste. Accordingly, a plastic is selected for the sealing element 7, which on the one hand is sufficiently elastic to ensure a sealing of the interior of the bottle, but on the other hand, the closure element 1 provides sufficient support on the bottle and also does not affect the content of the taste.

It is otherwise possible to produce the closure element 1 made of glass, metal or ceramic and provided with a plastic coating which realizes the sealing element 7 and has an outer contour, as provided in the sealing element 7.

The principle of operation of the closure element 1 makes it clear that the sealing element 7 has at least one sealing bead 13 sealing the interior of a bottle, and also a holding region which securely holds the closure element 1 on a bottle even after a displacement thereof in the direction of the central axis 19. To ensure this function, at least one projection is provided below the sealing bead 13, that is, on the side facing away from the head 5, which can hold the closure element 1 in the mouth region of a bottle. Preferably, however, a plurality of projections, but in particular a circumferential bead 15 are provided with at least one recess, which also provides the closure element 1 secure hold in the mouth of a bottle when the closure element 1 has been slightly shifted in the direction of the central axis 19.
